ICE vs EV aside, I wish automakers would throw aerodynamics out the window and bring back the classic car styles like that GTX. How great would it be to see cars like that, the old Impala, the old Malibu, the old Falcon and the OG Chargers and Cuda's roaming the streets again? Bring back the square body trucks and K5 Blazers. Stop making every car and crossover look like the same bubble in the name of fuel efficiency.
Is that supposed to be what it’s gonna look like cuz I don’t see those side mirrors and center locking wheel locks making it to production if it does look like that I’m a fan
The GTX Concept looks like they were inspired by the people who were putting TESLA batteries in their classic cars, making it work. It stands out more than the Banshee.
When it comes to the EV powertrain, if Dodge would have put the electric motor on display in the Daytona banshee and Scat pack models like it is in the restomod at sema that would have given the car more appeal. They could have branded it as an eHemi, while at the same time offering a combustion hemi … the EV could have been sold in limited quantities like a special edition while the turbo 6 and hemi V8 where the main powertrains … definitely wouldn’t have made it 4 doors either, better to bring back the Avenger as a performance sedan

Maybe the wheels and the large front splitter will remain, and maybe sit lower like the concept.
Never thought I’d say this, but I’ll take the V6 hurricane engine
It's inline 6... This knowledge has been around since 2021...
@ I’ll take whatever at this point 😂
That color is very sharp ! Im personally a Chevy guy but can totally appreciate this beast. Well done boys 👍🏼
The first time I noticed that color was on a Mercedes GLA, and since then it's the only color I want on any car. I want a Silverado High Country repainted in B5 Blue.
Does this car also come with an electric toaster
No way I would buy any electric car! Shame on MOPAR for thinking we were idiots.
the tweak value or "overclocking" value of both the hurricane and ev version will draw attention.. i think we'll be able to mod and tweak with ease out the dealership for more hp real easy... it'll be a matter of what you want ev or gas...
I'm not buying the bull sh!+ or this car or any ev car . Dodge lost me.
I don't hate EV but I can't wait until somebody on RUclips drops a V8 in this thing. And those rims are insane 🔥
This looks really good 👍
I love it all these people hating on electric never drove a Tesla plaid before they are unbeatable on the street and I heard Mopar used that as a benchmark for the banshee
RIP Dodge🕊️🙏. Those things are gonna sit on the lots
There's no such thing as an "electric muscle car" I'll continue to mash on my 07 srt charger until the wheels fall off.
Im going to call it now, the demon, red eye, super stock , and regular hellcats will be lining up to destroy this car on the highway.
Looks fine. Also, I’m not buying an electric anything. I’ll stick with my HEMI.
is that a concept banshee?
Looks like it could be a Plymouth Cuda .
Plylmouth rules. In the muscle car era, Plymouth always outsold Dodge.
ICE vs EV aside, I wish automakers would throw aerodynamics out the window and bring back the classic car styles like that GTX. Those cars were before my time, but I would buy one of those over the modern Charger/Challenger.
These are golden opportunities for Ford and GM to reproduce sedans with a V8 engine
The GTX Concept looks like they were inspired by the people who were putting TESLA batteries in their classic cars, making it work. It stands out more than the Banshee.
Joe and Lori and Steve keep up the good work real true and I love the video 👍
When it comes to the EV powertrain, if Dodge would have put the electric motor on display in the Daytona banshee and Scat pack models like it is in the restomod at sema that would have given the car more appeal. They could have branded it as an eHemi, while at the same time offering a combustion hemi … the EV could have been sold in limited quantities like a special edition while the turbo 6 and hemi V8 where the main powertrains … definitely wouldn’t have made it 4 doors either, better to bring back the Avenger as a performance sedan
I want that GTX that is very nice even without the 440 ci 375hp engine 4 speed they were really cool cars for shure
Not a real charger!
Def looks better than the Mustang and Camaro. Mustang hasn’t had a decent look since 2014 and the Camaro looks ok but this is better.
i want that electric muscle car, i wanna hear the insane high voltage coil wine that thing must make when under load
Since we are getting an engine variant, it’s a W, swaps finna be crazy
Im an ev guy, but i feel dodge is going down the same failing path ford took. They took their 2 top selling models and made them electric instead of just making a new model. Dodge took it a step further and discontinued the gas version.
I think they made a major mistake going full EV, they should have made a hybrid.
Mopar or no car all the way. The inline 6 may be a little better tho but as far as design we have to admit these are one the best looking EV’s on the market inside and out
Hate that it's an ev. But it's the best looking EV I've seen so far
Stellantis is doing a 180 with the V8. Not only for Dodge but Ram and Jeep. You can thank Orange Man.
Great video thanks
how many more times is it gonna be on display before it hits the road, omg
A banshee (/ˈbænʃiː/ BAN-shee; Modern Irish bean sí, from Old Irish: ben síde [bʲen ˈʃiːðʲe], "woman of the fairy mound" or "fairy woman") is a female spirit in Irish folklore who heralds the death of a family member,[1] usually by screaming, wailing, shrieking, or keening. Her name is connected to the mythologically important tumuli or "mounds" that dot the Irish countryside, which are known as síde (singular síd) in Old Irish.
Electric Muscle Car: Muscle Car; Beyond Meat: Ribeye Steak
Hey America, Stellantis (Europe) is mocking you.
