Can you check that signal wire without bidirectional scan tool

@jimi’sgarage at minute 7:58. How do you activate the solenoid on the vent control on and off?

I use the Maxlite scan tool form Matco Tools. Any scan tool that can do bi-directional control will be able to turn things on and off

Thanks, @@jimisgarage2011 Looking for options for a DIY guy to have in the garage, Have seen a few of these maxlite's in Ebay before but not sure how old the firmware could be.
