🟣 TWITCH /announce Chat Command?!

Twitch recently launching a new command in celebration for mod appreciation day which enables moderators to announce things in Twitch chat!
The announce feature persists a message by the streamer or anyone with the mod role on Twitch who wants to be able to have a sticky message at the top of chat!
Using the /announce command on Twitch basically puts a chat banner at the top of your Twitch chat that will stay there for a short period of time to highlight a message from a moderator or the broadcaster!
It's really easy to set up and comes with different colours by using the following alternative announce commands:
/announceblue [message]
/announcegreen [message]
/announceorange [message]
/announcepurple [message]
In the video I demonstrate how to use the announce command and try out some different colours, as well as discussion ideas on how best to use the announce chat command!

How do you plan to use /announce ???
can the bots use the other colors as well? i try to get my bot to use /announcepurple but it doesnt work
for those not seeing announce messages: it appears as though it is not supported by the Android Twitch app yet, it works fine on desktop + iOS Twitch

I have a lot of people in stream saying they aren't seeing announced messages. Anyone know a fix to this? Couldn't find anything on google.
Hey, thanks for letting me / everyone know! A few people have reported this, so I'm wondering if their announce system is a little buggy at the moment.
I just tested mine and it worked fine, but that doesn't mean it's working fine for everyone!

@@MachineDaena it's actually an issue with the Android version of the Twitch app -- on desktop and iOS it works, but on Android it still doesn't work... a whole year later

You could easily have a custom command to type /announce (and then some text) as either a timer or command, or even a manual stream deck button using the a Twitch integration. How to do this all depends on what bot you’re using - do you use StreamLabs Cloudbot? Stream elements?
I do have a video about custom commands for StreamLabs Cloudbot; m.ruclips.net/video/k0e7n_vHeM4/видео.html but unfortunately not one for streamelements / FOSSABOT etc.
You’d just make sure the command / timer types /announce AND THEN THE ANNOUNCEMENT TEXT and it should work!
