To reset counters go to channel commands, go to the command u want to reset click yellow action button beside the command, it will bring up edit menu, go down to the counter click on it u can raise or lower it, or hit backspace to reset
"!commands add !blink -a=!commands edit !blink \-c=0 " for the reset, and if your command you want to reset isn't "!blink" just replace it for the counter command you wanted to reset
From my experience and research the only way I’ve found to reset counters is to add another command: Say your command is !deaths You can add a new command !commands add !resetdeaths -a=!commands edit !deaths \-c=0
Thank you for your help!! I am a brand new streamer and didn't know how to set up a bot so I just didn't have one. I followed along with the video while setting it up, and I'm excited to have these basics for next time. 💖
Only been streaming for like 4 months, besides a lurk command i also made an unlurk command that way you can aknowledge a viewer coming back to watch your stream.
@@1973dreads4lyfe Shinobi_Tenno ain't got a fixed schedule though, cause i only stream when i feel physicly well enough, i suffer from a rare chronic inherited decease.
Just stumbled upon this video as I am coming into the streaming world! Thank you. Only thing is, I am having issues getting my socials and Discord to post in Twitch. I have linked everything with Nightbot and Twitch but the link is showing up as ****. Can anyone help?
i know this reply is years later, but leaving this here in case someone new sees this comment and has the same question: So, the command structure looks like this: $(twitch $(touser) "insert your command response in between these quotation marks") In the command response, {{displayName}} returns the channel's name, {{url}} returns the link to their channel, and {{game}} returns the game they were playing! Example: $(twitch $(touser) "Check out {{displayName}}! They were last streaming {{game}} over at {{url}}!")
What if a random streamer wants to come in the chat and Check they’re !hours and I put user and the $ sign and nightbot repeats it but don’t put the amount of hours
idk if u figured it out but i saw a video using this- !commands add/edit !resetdead -a=!commands edit !dead \-c=-1 i personally set the command to !dead \-c=0 so when someone uses it, it starts with 1 rather than 0
thank you so much for the help not only did you give a helpful tutorial but you taught people how to expand their knowledge and learn more on their own.
can someone explain what the welcome command exactly should be set up and how it works? I don't understand what he meant with clip and link of a clip saying hi?

then in the chat just do !reset ??

@@jaclynvictoria302 You sure you did it right?
@@flamedphoenix84 If you apply my example exactly as it’s written it should work
the way i reset counter is that i remove and re-add pretty simple
Found a better option for this as a command in my recent vid. Remove it and re-adding it is annoying to do during a stream :)
@@LoadedWombatTutorialswhat would the option be?
Just thank you for this! As a new stream I was so unsure about bots and you really did a great job going over the commands for them. THANK YOU!

i know this reply is years later, but leaving this here in case someone new sees this comment and has the same question:
So, the command structure looks like this: $(twitch $(touser) "insert your command response in between these quotation marks")
