I really stayed for the music, I especially loved the PRS SE277 Semi-Hollow P90 Semi Clean tone. Klone vibes here. Otherwise the two 8 strings songs are sick ! I have to chose the M80M song
I legitimately am waiting for a SCT607-B to come in a delivery truck at the moment. You had better timing than the T-Rex in the first Jurassic Park, Jon. These presets are amazing, and so is your playing!
Is anyone going to appreciate mixes you put out for these demos!? Holy crap, how well that bass guitar fits with your playing. Can you tell me what you're using (if it's midi programmed), and chain for it :) ? It sounds really huge altogether.
Thank you! :) I used my Ibanez ATK305, it's a great Bass! The setup in my daw is pretty simple but I'm thinking of making a tutorial video about it soon. The main ingredients are Helix native with one of the ampeg amp models, maybe some compression up front, an OH bass IR and some compression and mild eq after.
@@SonicDriveStudio it really sounds great! Amazing job there. I have a bit of trouble since I'm not a bass player, I just try to fit bass between kick and guitar, but most of the time I lose the presence of it (which you have plenty, I just love to hear bass g in the mix). I also tried out different Helix amps and OH bass IR's, but I didn't manage to find a right stack for me. I look forward that video when you put it out, to have a bit more understanding of it :)
Gear makers are totally fucking with your mind. Same with guitars, amps, plugins, etc... You don't need 90 percent of what they're selling. It really comes down to you, your skills, your ears. You dont need a bunch of gear to sound amazing.
Really nice video. Showing the settings is really nice as well. I was wondering what software you are using for the drums. Is it Superior Drummer ? Keep on with the great stuff :-) !
Amazing video as always Jon!! Truly impressive work making a video this long with all the different musical styles and gear. What are your favourite guitars out of your collection?
Very well done. Do you work for OH? Also what is your opinion of tone matching vs commercial IR? Haven't seen many people discussing this topic - thanks again for your content
Thanks! Tonematching is less accurate in general. To match a recording it can be useful. For cab sounds I think commercial IRs are much better. To copy someone else's tone directly tonematching can definitely be cool though.
Hey Jon, as always sounds amazing. How do you track your DIs? I always get so much more noise trying to recreate your presets. It's not that I have cheap guitars or equipment but I wonder how do people get such sterile DI tracks. I have a Caparison Dellinger with passive pickups and audient ID14 sound interface, even borrowed the radial j48 dibox from my mate to check if it makes any difference. But I'm still getting quite noisy and harsh sounding tones on the high gain. And yeah I adjust the input gain as well. Thanks in advance!
Wow nice sounds! Are you sure this is done with Helix 😜? The Rock n Roll sound lacks life and crisp, imo, but all the rest kills. I sold two Helixes in the past. The last one two years ago. I sm pretty sure they didn't sound like this when I tweaked them... hm 🤔
Hi man, great video 💪 i just bought this bundle and i have 2 question. Are you using IR 1024 or IR 2048? Are the IR mono or true stereo? Thanks in advance ♥️
Firstly, love the content. Awesome tones! Question. I have a tone I really like, but through a PA theres still that annoying ass fizz that I just can't get rid of. Any advice on what I need to tweak in the EQ's? Cause I'm guessing thats how I'll get rid. Thanks in advance
Hey! Cool video, thanks man! One question: I run an HX Stomp into a single FRFR speaker. So what about the stereo thing? Are there disadvantages or can I buy this package without any worries and use it mono only?
My bro you should sell your line 6 Helix /Hx presets .!! 🙌🏼 i already have a lot of OH IR , I love all of them . I definitely would buy your line 6 products. 🎸💪🏼
This is sad. Got these IRs, dialed the presets in.. and.. it sounds like shit. Far from that what I hear in the video. Well okay.. i can't play that good. But nevertheless I didn't expect such extreme deviations. Is it my Headrush FRFR 108 cab? hmm..

Are you selling these presets? These are great.
I'd love to see an updated preset video in 2024.
@sonicDriveStudio is it possible to buy these presets? I tried copying some of them from your screen share, but it is too blurry to read the levels.
Line 6 should hire you to make their presets, this is so much better than the stock.
I must have watched 100 Helix videos and this one smokes all of them
I second this
Line6 must sell many helix products thanks to your videos, they are really good!
Thank you!
This video singlehandedly made me pull the trigger on the HX stomp... and I'll be picking up those IRs too. Cheers.
Awesome!! Enjoy
33 seconds! Unexpected. What a brilliant switch up!
Great job! Cannot imagine how long it took you to prepare this. I was just copying some of them and it took me hour :D Thanks, keep it coming ;)

Very nice work. Quite diverse and you did Justice to the amps and musical genre alike.
Love the depth of these sounds. 🙌🙌😍😍
This is without doubt the best helix/stomp video I’ve ever seen! Thanks. I’m really happy with my revolution impulses
Stellar demo once again, incredibly good tones and quality writing
Nice work John! Awesome tones, as always. I send you a big hug!
Fantastic tones! And great playing!
Sound great. Thx for posting. Not a metal head but the tones you get are stellar.
I bought this ownhammer pack d day. Love ur presets, perfect. Thanks !
Well done and most thoughtful. Thanks for sharing!
Simply awesome. Thanks for showing settings :)

great demo!! thank you
wah this a lot of good work dude. I might say that i am impressed and that it sounds good.

video de enorme valor
thank from Portugal
Excellent vidéo, very usefull
amazing as usual haha
Here for the riffs. I watch all of these and am not even in the market for new amps VST's.
at 2:50 I though you were about to play Trapped by The Word Alive. Lol, great demo!
For metal, the nazgul always sound the best for me.
I have the Evolution bundle. Are you using True Stereo and the Mixes option. Fantastic playing. Thanks for the presents
Thanks! All mono
Awesome. Dude, you should put this do donwload, it sounds amazing.
Need more helix, thanks for vid🤘
Awesome sounds!! what does the SCOOP 2 @6:38 mean? is it a setting in the IR? are those the names for the cab+speaker combo's in the packs? Thanks!!!
It's one of the new (r)Evolution Series mic mix recipes
Really nice video. Showing the settings is really nice as well. I was wondering what software you are using for the drums. Is it Superior Drummer ? Keep on with the great stuff :-) !
Thank you! It's Steven Slate Drums 5. Love it!
Very nice indeed
Amazing video as always Jon!! Truly impressive work making a video this long with all the different musical styles and gear. What are your favourite guitars out of your collection?
I love them all for various reasons...
I NEED THAT FIRST ONE. MY GOD!!!
very cool video!
@sonicDriveStudio is it possible to buy these presets? I tried copying some of them from your screen share, but it is too blurry to read the levels.
These sound fantastic. I have the GNR pack but I don’t see the M75 Bold that you use for the 2204 model
This is the new GNR from the recently released (r)Evolution Series IR's. Cheers!
Sonic Drive Studio thank you!
Hey Jon, are these Helix presets for sale? Obviously would need to pick up the ownhammer IRs, but very usable amp settings here.
Thanks man!

All helix with OwnHammer
Awesome video bud! Can ask you what camera and lens you use? And what lightning?
Maybe you can provide me with some affiliate links ;D
Gopro Hero 7 and some studio lights
Hi man, great video 💪 i just bought this bundle and i have 2 question.
Are you using IR 1024 or IR 2048?
Are the IR mono or true stereo?
Thanks in advance ♥️
I use the L mono files and always the 2048 IR
@@SonicDriveStudio Great, thanks man 💪
Hi, is there a place where you share the presets?
I love how clean these presets are... dare I ask if they're available for download?
No downloads but you can copy all the settings from the video
OK. How I copy the IR's?
@@TrindadeGuitarrista Buy it, it's like $7 for the whole pack.
@@Bigjunk9999 I see 29, 99. What's the link to buy the bundle you use in this video?
Perfect as usual!
Is there a big difference between Helix Stomp processor and Helix Native plugin? Will you make a comparision video?
They sound the same but HX Stomp can load less blocks
Wow nice work on these! Are these presets shared anywhere?
Only in the video itself
@@SonicDriveStudio Ah gotcha. Cool thanks, I will use those to build some. Great tones as always! :)

Great demo and playing. Are these the IRS designed for stereo or do they work as well in mono?
They work in mono
Very good \w/
Top
Thanks for the presets!! Was this quad tracked?
Dual tracked for most of the parts.
@@ovoono3050 in the video
Sonic Drive Studio would love to hear single tracks too
Man those 8 strings sound FAT... might I ask what tuning those were?
F standard
now some genre worship presets
