My Momentum 3s have been doing the weirdest ringing high pitched whine any time I get a phone call with noise canceling on. Have reset them, updated, everything.

Very interesting how they were asked to fix all that in a single update. Makes me wonder why these problems were there in the first place if it was just a software issue.

I am doing a lot of calls, teams etc so good call quality is important. But most importantly I am very sensitive to occlusion effect and hate hearing myself when calls in an unnatural way and feel “stucked” due to the in ear.
I work in a very noisy office ( good anc with high freq noise cut out is necessary )
I do a lot of gym, running, hiit ( very good anc, no occlusion again )
What would you reconmend to cover these all?

Btw the way they just released the sennheiser momentum sport. I wonder if you will be reviewing them they are pretty expensive

AZ80 for me. I had the MTW4 but sent them back. The AZ80 just sound better.

For me, as an Android user, AZ80 is missing AptX (which MTW3/MTW4 have). SBC is too low quality, LDAC is too heavy in bitrate - too much microwave radiation to your head frying the brain.
Different people prefer different sound 👍
I just got them yesterday and I hear a lot of static sound when I'm in a pretty quite room with ANC on and no music.
Is it the same for you or is it an issue, again...?
Also heard on transparency mode but that was there also with tw3.
I've updated to 5.6.1 also.
Looking forward to your opinion on Sennheiser Momentum Sport buds from an audio perspective. Sport reviewers said both ANC and transparenc are great.

Are you getting and feedback from people you speak on the phone with that your voice is muffled when using the Momentum 4's?
I have an issue with my MTW4 when I use DAP, there are noisy sound if I playing music. But when I paused, the noise disappear. But it doesnt happen when I use denon. Any solution? I try to reset but no result
The pixel phone fix is the highlight for me ❤ They wouldn't connect to the phone automatically when taken out of the box and now they do. Also, loudness levels on normal eq is louder too!

I was considering the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC (you previously reviewed) but for the same price I can get the Tozo HT2 or the 1More Sonoflow 🤔...
How would you rate those 3 options in terms of sound quality and ANC?.

I prefer the sound of headphones personally. It just sounds more expansive to me with fuller bass. My best pick there is the 1More SonoFlow.

This update does not contain Auracast capability, or does it? I was not able to join an Auracast stream with TW4 and FW 5.6.1
Important: When you change the sidetone level, the sound profile of the earphones also changes. This has always been the case, for all models. The choice of low or high distorts the familiar Sennheiser tonal character.
Yes very nice fix the anc still doesn't block the really high frequencies much otherwise everything else is perfect
Let's hope that these ones last longer than 8 months like the TM3's, I'll wait a while before I waste my money again, especially as there is zero customer service😡
That customer service depends on the country. Got my MTW3s fixed for free in 3 days and shipped back in Poland.

Sennheiser is a gamble set of earbuds. We will be enticed to buy by its superb sound. Even though we hear news of multiple problems it gives in a short run.

You are free to buy whatever you like buddy. All earbuds have issues but nobody somehow notices it. I have to swap my AirPods Pro 2 multiple times so any electronic device is a gamble. Some people willing to take a chance and some play safe 🤞
How about the sound quality - anything negative??

No change. Activating ANC makes the sound slightly better.

The microphone pickup suck.
Edifier buds pro 2 and Beats Studio Buds+ seem fine there. Fomer have poor battery life and later seem to sound pretty bad. Neither have strong water protection.
Wish I could have it all in one. Jabra Elite 8 Active the compromise? Or the Edifiers?

Overall better than the PerL Pro yes. AZ80's just the best overall. That's just going of my ranking without customisation though

Both MTW3 and MTW4 have 2 years global warranty, so there is no risk.

Still find the white noise quite loud in quiet place, little bit less than before the update. Didn't try it yet in noisy environment.

Funny saying this about the best sounding earbuds in the market. You should use the ear tip fit test to get the right sealing and run the Sound Personalization feature.

Bruh it’s sennheiser freakin momentum tws 4 of course they sound amazing. I can’t describe the pleasure I get while listening to music with my momentum tws 3, I don’t even listen to music with my airpods pro 2 anymore it’s sound is not even comparable to the sennys even with spotify eq vs no eq on the sennys.

@@thesupergroover1339 Look at all the people complaining in this thread. I have been through this already with Wireless. For the few features you get, you also get a lot of crap and complications. Worse sound and battery woes.
Maybe a better ananolgy is; A) Car you don't need to fill up with awesome sounds system and no other features or B) A car you need to refill often, worse stereo and hands free calls and lane keep assist.
Stop using transparency during calls folks, you will see the difference. Call quality is then perfect in even windy conditions, why doesent sennheiser informs about that??? @ sennheiser
