- Is it Lucifer's Law that keeps all of the sinners restricted to the pride ring in Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss, or is there some other logic at work keeping all of these demons in place?

Why do you think the Sinners are trapped in the pride ring?
:(
my theory is that the sinners are too prideful to regret their sins and seek redemption
I belive their stuck in pride cause with lucufer being one powerful demon he may have had some kind of chain on every earth born sinner to stay and make them suffer luke he is but deep down i feel like he would wanna let all be free to see the other rings but we must remember some overlords might just wanna kill all and take over hell and the rest themselves
So the ark angles don't have to go in every ring and take out imps in the process too
Do you know thet the dover boys are in the hazbin hotel world
Having the sinners confined to the Pride Ring may have been mandated by Heaven. If sinners were able to traverse all of the rings, Exterminators would have to travel further into Hell to carry out the purge and resurfacing would be more of a hassle. Plus the sinners would have more places to hide with access to all the rings, even blending in with hellborn demons. Locking them in the Pride Ring keeps all the targets in one spot and allows for an easier exit.
Yeah that makes sense...
first of all, don't click on the fake gray plays link and second, true
That makes sense plus the deeper the angels would go into hell, the harder for them to get out because they wouldn't know the way out of each ring.
But if they opened up all the rings they wouldn't need a purge or at least they wouldn't need one every year.
@@ddbob1 According to Viv, the Exterminators are really, REALLY violent. They'd probably want a purge every year even if they didn't need it just because they love killing demons so much.
In which case, letting the Exterminators work only in the Pride Ring is also an act of mercy from Heaven because at least then the hellborns can just flee to the lower rings and don't have to worry about getting caught in the crossfire.
There probably in the pride ring so they don’t have to drop angels every where it’s like a the pride ring is a hunting range for angel to keep them in one place
dont click on the link
Thats kinda what I was thinking. By trapping all the mortal souls in the top most layer it limits the ability for them to escpes the purge while also minimizing the amount of exposure the angles have to hell.
You know angels like the radio demon
@@cyberus1438 Alistor is a Motal soul not a natural born.
@@kaimagnus5760 that might just be what the hellish population thinks
Personally, I think the reason sinners are restricted to the Pride Ring could be a combination of it being part of their punishment (being stuck in one place for the remainder of their afterlife) and it makes it easier for the annual Extermination (sinners can't leave the Pride Ring to escape the purge and there are limited places for them to hide from Exorcists).
There is also the old adage 'Hell is other people" which is quickly negated if people spread out too far.
Turf wars, constant attacks and indenturing each other is part of the whole debacle which creates free labour and markets to support the rest of hell's denizens.
Pride usually leads to other sins, could be why they’re only in the Pride ring to begin with. Pride is the “root of all sin”
Yep, pride is the seed that once planted branches into other trees of sin. Because pride is the belief that one has value, value that can be contested by external sources.
Pride is, in my opinion, the realization of self and worth.
The tree of knowledge of good and evil cemented humans’ character from beings of holiness to beings of pride. Because pride inflates ones importance of self above the Lord’s, not because we think we’re better than Him, but because self worth and appraisal of self is inherently what God is against in some way.
Which is why Lucifer was banished, his pride, knowledge, and free will set himself apart from God, much like how we are.
Also for what i remember of catholic teaching god is ready to absolve your sin if your recognize your fault and truly willing to make amend
And seing as sinner have a "never my fault" behavior and that pride dont allow to recognize one mistake that maybe why they are locked in that ring
@@LonesomeKrow so Lucifer truly is a good guy

Theory:
Each of the princes of hell are Angels that fell with Lucifer after the rebellion
All except Satan. He was there before the dawn of creation.
@@timeportal2859 Satan was created from Lucifer’s rage at least that’s the version I’ve heard
@@Grimeygrotto Satan Lucifer and Beelzebub being different creatures was literally just 17th centaury demonologists trying to make a demonic parody of the Trinity (Where the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are all the same God even though their personhood is not confused). Frankly Milton got the parody better with Lucifer, Sin and Death being the answer to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (better theology and metaphysics) so I kind of hate that Hazbin is sticking to this trope. (granted Beelzebub being their own demon has grown on me, but still Moloch should have been the demon prince of wrath, not Satan)
But that's not a theory it's a fact from real demonology. The other Princes of Hell, Mammon (greed), Beezlebud (gluttony), Azazel (wrath), Leviathan (envy), Asmodius (lust) and Belphegor (sloth) were all angels who were cast out of Heaven who had sided with Lucifer during the rebellion.
Fun Fact: Belphegor actually didn't side with Lucifer or God, instead he stayed out of the whole thing but was cast out anyway for being a defector. Hence why he's sloth.
@@daniele7989 I personally think that Azazel is better as the sin of wrath.
Strange how there's different demons from a different point of view as the wrath prince; Satan, Moloch, Azazel, etc.
Lucifer being able to play music perfectly is only part of the reason he was one of gods favorites. He was also smarter, stronger, more beautiful and nearly perfect in every imaginable way compared to the others. Playing music was just one of the things he was better at then the other angels. Hence he became arrogant in his perfection beliving he could surpass even god and thus choose to recruit more angels to his side. He was intelligent, charming, persuasive and cunning allowing him to recruit many angels who saw him as a higher being and believed he would know better due to his perfection. Thus when he lost his rebellion and defeated by Michael he was cast down to hell.
It was Michael that that defeated him though.
@@legendarypickle6505 Yeah I corrected it
An idea that would be very interesting to see is an earth-born sinner who somehow has the ability to go between all the rings of hell and is an fugitive in basically every realm(heaven, hell, and earth mostly). I don’t know what personality he/she could have, but I think this concept could be used to develop the story in an interesting direction

This theory makes a ton of sense, because my thought is that humans sin for SOOO many different reasons, including all of the 7 deadly sins (not just pride). So why aren't the sinners spread out across the rings based on their corresponding sins? The sinners must be stuck in the Pride Ring for a reason, likely having to do with pride specifically. Since Lucifer is - well, Lucifer - it just fits perfectly that the reasoning connects to his own pride and the actual biblical description of Lucifer wanting to spread sin to take Gods creation away from him.
also, in the Christian bible lucifer planted the seed of pride and the tree of sin grew from it
Personally I believe that the reason the sinners are stuck in the pride ring, hast to do something with the natural born citizens. Even though opening the other rings to hell born sinners, it would make it so that the angels would at some point in time have to go into the other rings to chase after sinners. And this could very well hurt the natural born citizens, ending up with demons who weren’t supposed to get killed get killed.
i’m pretty sure the angels kill all demons lol regardless of the fact if they are a sinner or imp etc
@@tsuyuasui7297 exactly my point. In order to protect the citizens of hell, sinners cannot leave the pride ring and in turn angels can’t either
I think that the sinners might get out of the pride ring and maybe get stuck in one in the later episodes of Hazbin Hotel
it does make sense, why allow these sinners who are seemingly even more violent than the natural born denizens to roam all the other rings of hell, especially since they can't be killed without angelic weapons, basically just confine them to the pride ring, where they can do less damage
If the dead sinners are restricted to one ring of hell, the angels purging will also restrict them selves to that ring. It was said somewhere that the angels are volunteers of dead angels as there isn't enough heaven bred to do the job and they willing to volunteer because the reason they are dead has gone to hell. If someone like that travels to other rings and start killing the inhabitants, it can cause problems.
I agree with your theory that controlling sinners is Lucifer's bag. He mocks God by transforming his children into monstrosities and keeps them in his ring and under his thumb. He doesn't care if the have to be exterminated...in fact, he probably loves that. It's all about him giving a middle finger to the Big Guy.
Mine is that most (to not say all) sinners are there because they are too prideful to accept redemption. It's just a theory but it would make sense, I think there are other sinners in the other rings of hell, but there are fewer of them because their sins greatly overcome the Pride. I imagine People greedy enough to be a sin living in the Greed Ring but undercovered, assuming the theory about Lucifer is correctly, some of those sinners just appear there and they just hide from Lucifer so they're not taken to the pride ring where the purges occur

My personal theory of Lucifer for Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss cannon is that Lucifer actually has a split personality and part of the reason Charlie is working towards rehabilitating sinners is because of one half of Lucifer's personality problem. With Lucifer, in most depictions of him, is this sort of duality to him where he is a high ranking angel but also the ruler of Hell, this figure that can alter his form when walking among mortals but restricted to what others think of him when in what is supposed to be his domain. So, the idea of Lucifer literally having two competing personalities that basically show themselves at random intervals isn't that far of a stretch. And maybe Lucifer gives the souls of sinners that one thing they can't like about themselves because it's a reflection of his own punishment by god, maybe his problems (including the dual personalities that are constantly dueling within himself) is part of his divine punishment and he wants all the sinners to share in his misery and punishment as part of his conceit and pride.
What about Dragons? Now we have seen two instances of dragons in hell at this point, and they are also two separate types. First time being a small anthropomorphic dragon in a bar watching Charles interview on the news in the Hazbin Hotel Pilot. The second being a large multi-eyed dragon in the Loo-Loo-Land theme park on the second episode of Hellova Boss.
I think the anthropomorphic dragon at the bar was a sinner. 1- it's in the Pride ring, 2- it was during the part showing sinners reaction to Charlie and her desire to rehab sinner.
Since it was at Loo Loo Land that's in the Greed ring, that dragon has to be a hellborn creature.
Dragons do come up in the Bible.
5:00 You know that picture there feels like it's suggesting that the Radio Demon is Charlie's father. Which would explain why he's so powerful.
Considering Episode 7, seems Sinners are just forbidden from traveling to the other rings considering there's an 'elevator' system of sorts that allows travel to and from the various rings. So, it's likely just one of the few laws in place by Lucifer. As for why? We may some day find out.
One thing I am curious about is that earth born sinners are trapped in the pride ring. But what about living humans; could a living human travel across all of the realms?
"Demons manifest with something they hate about themselves"
Me seeing nothing changed: *sighs* God d*mn it...
I think 2 ideas will work with the character development of Lucifer. 1at first he seems like a good character but over time we will see the horrible side of him 2 at first he will seem like the biggest vilian but overtime we will see the reason why he became like this and in reality he is a good character inside.
Daddy issues are Vivziepop Forte if not a reoccurring motif. It's like the Octavia/Stollas or Blitz¤ /Loona
Eh loona is more so about abandonment issues@elizabethlee2136
I remember hearing some word going around that, in another interview, Vivzie mentioned something about two of the original nine rings of Hell being destroyed in some kind of cataclysm. If it is true, I suspect that could be the reason for not only the confinement of Sinners in the Pride Ring, but also the recent mass immigration of other Hell-born species. It would also explain what became of the other additional circles that Killjoy mentioned in the pilot.
However, I can’t confirm this since I’ve been able to find a source of this claim, so take it with a grain of salt.
The pilot isn't canon. Pilots are just a proof of concept. So until episode one drops its all TBT. Pretty sure helluva boss is canon though.
Aw man, if the rule didn’t exist, I feel like Charlie would take Vaggie down to Ozzy’s for a date.
Lucifer's pride is what caused him to lose his rank next with God in the first place and he does want to keep the Sinners while the demons do the torturing Lucifer has nothing else to lose so he's trying to upset God by making more and more people go to hell through sin and through their own desires as well
I mean I always ascribe to the fact that original sin means humans have free will. Angels, even the fallen (especially the fallen) are trapped into their destiny. So eventually every human that dies will supply infinite energy to whichever side gets the most. I mean all it does is just shift the humans around.
Like the few stories in pop culture and folk lore that have humans enact freewill they can easily beat the devil. In tales like" devil went down to Georgia"
Who knows heaven is nice so people might want to stay.
But just like in stories like Good Omens Sandman and now Hazbin, many sinners only stay in hell and not cause trouble to the living world because of psychology
Dead humans might one day escape cause trouble. So having Lucifer keep them in a prison is the first step and might not work forever... at first the need for a Purge.
But since the Cleansing will corrupt and change angels into evil, there might be no hope to change the situation. Hell is kinda doomed to fail and ironically make things worse for everyone....
@@elizabethlee2136 that is only applied to the show but in real life there's no purge just heaven and hell.
@@cqcumberfunnymix unless you don't believe that Hell would work. I don't think it makes any sense and would never work out. Because Hell is based on eternity so anything could happen in that span of time. The cruelty to created eternal punushment, let alone the burden of eternal awareness would be so cruel and absolute it would inherently corrupt itself.
How could any being worthy to be in heaven tolerate the idea of He'll. Which is infinite and forever. If I knew He'll existed I doubt I would be able to handle the guilt after the 50 billionth century.
@@elizabethlee2136 Eh if heaven is eternal sp is hell
@@tobsonasanya4765 but what is heaven. And we are assuming that hell isn't a part of heaven, system. Most other cultures believe all of the afterlife is connected. There is hell so that wicked souls can be punished reformed and go to heaven. So it makes sense that system is eternal because well life is a fucked up experience.
But if you have only one shot an eternal.afterlife is cruel whether you go to hell or not. Because you would subject the population of Heaven of the guilt of having survived life, but then also know other people are in hell.
I don't think I could sit on a puffy cloud eating starlight flavored ice cream and hanging out in a time machine with Alexander the great and Elvis presley. What if my uncle was in hell... could I eat unlimited ceviché and margaritas while my uncle was being tortured forever, he's my uncle.
And even if everyone I knew was in heaven, you'd have to become a sociopath to not care about people you didn't know.
So heaven would be ruined by either giving me infinite pleasure which would be boring in a few billion years, or filled with people who had to completely ignore suffering others which would turn everyone evil.
Heaven would be terrible if you were a conscious human for all eternity and aware you were in heaven. It would either be filled of people incapable of empathy or so eclipsed by the survivors guilt the average person would only stick around until they did everything on their bucket list.
I hope I don't kniw what's going on next. I'd like to think we'd change so much we
Can't worry about guilt and survival... and we can do something to keep the universe going.
Is the universe like a resort in a banana republic.... where two or three guys got in with the manager and the leaders and everyone else suffers in anonymity poverty and suffering. And there is always a chance that country could explode in chaos. Sorta like Cuba in the 1950s.
Eternity and privilege taints the idea of an eternal heaven too.
Temporary heaven and hell works for me. But eternity as a human who needs to fart and has social anxiety and feels guilty at puppy mill animal rights commercials but still doesn't donate.

I mean im sure if it was opened up that Alastor would casually go around killing more people on the other rings, i mean he is incredibly powerful
In Christian law, all sin comes from the sin of pride of some sort, so this could be the reason maybe?
I just assumed it would be easier to keep the angels focused in one area. If there's an ant nest nest just busting with ants right next to your door you put poison and traps to kill that next first and might not even go after the next next to your fence. Then the angels don't linger in all of Hell.
My personal belief is that sinners in Hazbin Hotel are trapped in the Pride Ring, because when you really think about it, human Pride is the reason, why people sin, in the first place. I mean, the reason that greed, lust, wrath, gluttony, sloth, and envy appear, because someone's pride is threatened, and in the shows like Lucifer, we see How the main titular character Lucifer is above humanity, as he does not understand their entitlement and their rather weird desires.
My guess is that a long time ago, dinners were allowed to live in the other rings. Back when the world population wasn’t as high as it is today. Once the extermination’s started, Lucifer HAD to take them to the pride ring to avoid a rebellion from the other six princes. Who would want angels rampaging through their rings every year? I could also see the prices blaming Lucifer for the overpopulation issue, as he basically invented sin, thus if sinners are a problem, they’d blame him. Lucifer just not wanting to deal with it, took on all the sinners. Not only so he could rule over them specifically, but to keep Hell running. Lucifer seems to be powerful, but not a tyrant.
The thing is, why would a ring exist for every sin, if sinners weren’t meant to be there? They must originally have been.
Sinners are stuck in the Pride Ring perhaps because:
1. It makes it easier for the exorcists/exterminators to kill them in one place. Pride is considered the worst of sins and the foundation of the other ones. Similar to how sinners became a majority and foundation of Hell due to them reflecting/adapting the different time periods and technology on Earth.
2. It is part of Lucifer's punishment and the sinner's punishment. Lucifer has to watch his people die and the sinners have to risk getting erased each year. Also, Lucifer may have allowed the law to be put in place because he doesn’t care about the “sinner scum” and he doesn’t want any more trouble with heaven and his brothers.
3. Sinners can regenerate and there are hundreds of them. If they entered the other Rings or Heaven, it could spell disaster for the overlords and elite in both realms and both systems. No one wants to fight a near immortal army of rebel (former) humans. It's worse now that humans know demons exist...and they can now question their decisions, search for Hell and question the authorities above.
Once sinners and saints reunite as families as Charlie hopes, the centuries-old system of superiority/inferiority would collapse. The Sinner’s Key could be the key to revealing the issue and allowing sinners to travel to the other Rings to escape the exterminations.
I can't guess where Vivzie is going with Hazbin. I've only seen a pilot episode, the "Addict" music video, and two online comics. Now A24 is involved, and I can't guess what influence that company might have. I've heard they take a "hands-off" approach with their creators, but still, just the company being involved is sure to have *some* effect on creative decision-making. I've been involved with creative teams all my life, so I know how much influence the people who hold the purse strings have, as well as the impact of even minor changes in team personnel, but I know almost nothing about the way Vivzie's organization is set up. They seem to be careful about how much they let leak out. That's smart.
The theory i need is
Does lucifer wear eye shadow and eyeliner--

No, sorry. Viv has a tendency to draw some of her characters in a similar style with similar features as another. It’s for simplicity’s sake. Why do you think a lot of the character have bowties for example? It’s not just for the sake of making them look ‘snazzy,’ but because it’s too difficult for some of the animators to draw necks on certain characters. Same situation with why Alastor looks like Lucifer: it would be an unnecessary drainage of time, energy, and possibly even MONEY.

To me restricting sinners to the ring of the sin they committed would make more sense. Because Imagine going to hell because of lust or a sin that would go into that category and going to pride. it just makes a bit more sense to keep them in the ring of sin that they committed.
Wow imagen seeing Charlie as an Angel she would probably be even more beautiful.
So that explains why human sinners, are confined in the Pride Ring.
Wow! This video is so good! I think it would be totally reasonable for it to be the way you explained! And all of that although we didn´t get to see a lot of Lucifer yet! Concrats :)
I like to believe he read Dante's inferno and got so mad he put everyone in the pride ring out of spite
If Sinner's bodies in hell have aspects from their previous lives that they hate, then I wonder what Alastor hates about how he looks
Why do Lucifer and the Radio Demon have DISTURBINGLY similar smiles?
And why is he looking so intently at this picture? Are they related? Is this a Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz situation? He does seem to value entertainment which is why he chose to help with the hotel despite being certain that it’s a lost cause, and according to your theory, Lucifer values that too, hence running Hell like a circus. Also, I wonder exactly what it was that he said about Charlie that made her so doubtful of herself. Has all this been discussed already? I’m quite late to this party. I started watching HB a week after episode 7 came out.
One reason why I think they’re trapped in the Pride Ring is because they would drive many native species to extinction

Yes but you have all of eternity to exist? Unless Vivziepop has yet to reveal that you can DOUBLE DIE..?
The exterminators exist. So it's already long been established that you can double-die, resulting in you being reduced to nothing.
If sinners are grounded to the pride ring how were Loopty Goopty and Lyle able to see the imps who I’m pretty sure are in the wrath ring I can’t wrap my head around it
Cause the building that IMP is in is in the pride ring if it was in any other ring the company wouldn’t get customers
Millie and Moxie are from the Wrath ring IMP is based in the Pride ring.
With the new episode (spoilers for S1Ep7Part1) the elevator colors coincide with the color of the sky in each ring, Stolas likely lives in the Sloth Ring with a Pink Sky.
The elevators levels shown are:
Sloth - Pink
Pride - Red
Wrath - Orange
Lust - Blue
Envy - Purple
Not shown are Greed, which we already know is Green from Lolo Land, and Gluttony, which I'd guess is Yellow simply because I can't imagine what color it would be otherwise.
There are some characters that I’m wondering if are natural born or are just earth born. Also I have a few theories for the two shows.
Personally I think its pretty simple lucifer who runs the pride ring is to prideful to let anyone escape his rule and into someone else's also I think the extermination is just a means of making sure all earth born sinners can fit into one ring without leaving to be ruled by someone that isn't lucifer
I think Alastor wants to help Charlie to get to Lucifer, and get the power to move between rings and take over all of hell.
I do wonder about what causes the power scaling between Sinners. Alastor basically wrecked the Ring of Pride when he showed up, yet the few other Sinners seem to be fairly normal-ish in power, as if they're just humans with weird bodies.
@SCORPIO It might not be for the purpose of ‘reaching a status’, it could be that he might want to topple oppressive overlords in rings he can’t reach.
But Alastor cant defeat lucifer, I think
@@devynpanchal7612 No, he can’t. A human sinner, whether an overlord or not, will never match the strength of an angel, never mind one that once had the highest ranking of them all. Because of Lucifer’s own immeasurable power, he has the position that he does, and has held onto it from the very start.
I'm just waiting for the second episode..
Manifesting with the exact thing you don't like about yourself being an over exaggerated part of your body is what I think hell definitely would be.
Opening up the 6 other rings wouldn't really do much because the other rings would eventually fill up with immortal sinners too. Considering how casual everyone is about the yearly purges they have been going on for a long, long, time. They would likely have filled all 7 rings by now if they hadn't been purged. By putting the sinners in only the top ring it gives natural born residents of hell somewhere the retreat to, and not be killed by the angels. If the sinners were in all levels the angels would have a reason to go there, and it would put natural born demons at risk. Innocent residents would be in the line of fire (imps, hellhounds, etc.), rather than only the sinners who at least have done something to deserve their punishment.
I've also noticed in the trailer for helluva boss the clips where stolas is looking a
ound while imps are flying there is a sign saying "ozzies" and when moxxie is singing and the "prince" comes in it also says "ozzies" meaning they are in the same episode. Also if you look at the lamps you can tie it with another clip of stolas acting shocked and you can see the same lamps and patterns on the wall. Also we can tell that episode is going to be in lust since the paintings on the wall are of women in devious clothes and the dancing strippers in the cages
I think they may in stuck in the pride ring since Lucifer was the one who tempted humanity to sin in the first place
Also if I hate everything about my self would I just appear to hell with no change to my body because I don’t have that much self confidence, and I’m not all that attractive to most or so I think as I’m still single so I assume I can’t be that attractive to most
This is one of your best theories

doesnt limiting them to a single ring make complete sense? it limits where the angels have to hunt and limits the resources capable of being gathered by human born demons. isn't it basically the hunger games districts?
This makes me want to see the sinners have a rebellion so badly.
People would argue that letting sinners into the other rings would solve the overpopulation problem. No it would not. It would moderately DELAY the issue by a few hundred years or a thousand tops. (really just depends on the scale of the place compared to Earth). Ya'll forget just how many people there are in the world now and how many have existed and died in the past. Without the exterminations there would have been billions upon billions of sinners in hell over the thousands of years that have occurred and Hell is an eternal place that exists for infinity theoretically so there will be infinite people who end up there given infinite time.
There's almost 8 billion people on Earth now and 99.9% of all of those will be dead in the next 100 years or so given current life expectancy regardless of how nice or crap things are on Earth at any point during that time. Now imagine that 7 billion repeated every hundred years for the past 5000 years (if you go by the Bible's sayings on when Humanity was born). Though population was much less back then it still would have been a lot. This is on top of the fact that they are all immortal too once they reach hell. So while normal populations of hell born demons can be maintained in similar ways as to humans/animals on Earth because everything ages and eventually dies on Earth, that is not true for the sinners who all live forever in hell. You'd need infinite rings to deal with an infinite population over the infinite time that hell will exist because that's what it ends up being when you deal with the concept of infinity.
As someone else said letting them into the other rings would make them harder to find and exterminate for the angels and Lucifer probably knew this. Sure him wanting to rule over them all in a single ring might also be an additional factor it may not be the only factor. It's a matter of convenience most likely. Keep them in a place the angels can reach easily to prevent the over population from being a problem.
Now granted some of those souls go to Heaven instead but the pessimism in me says that a good 80 percent probably have done enough sin of some kind for God to decide to send them to Hell assuming he has the same standards as the real world's Bible does... :P
Now I wont even get into the logistics of trying to control an infinite population of sinners where an infinite percentage of them eventually get as powerful as some of the well known overlords. It would quickly become unmanageable for Lucifer so the exterminations keep the population in check, it also prevents the sinners from possibly getting the sheer numbers they'd eventually get to overthrow him regardless of how powerful they are. You need to take into account that Lucifer and God are immortal so they think on very different timescales compared to us mere mortals on Earth.
i want luci to consistently be pretty likable but juuuuuuust often enough to keep you on your toes be a horrifyingly evil being like conversion therapy for the kikz dark (obviously not literally that that's too far, its for examples sake)
I’d like to see Alastor leave the Pride ring to start with. Once he does that, then I’ll start wondering this to.

Alastor:this is a interesting picture
Ok just subed since i love you vids
cartoon: its just a theory
me: a game theoiry
I think it would be easier for Charlie to convince the angels in Heaven to accept her if she was willing to go alone and let others behind, since in the Hazbinverse Heaven is elitist and well Charlie is like the princess of demons, and being born in Hell they didn’t have the opportunity of judging her, they would sure love her, and they would really enjoy showing off Lucifer’s face how his own daughter rather serving in Heaven then following his steps and ruling Hell. But since she wants her friends and other sinners to go with her then she will have a hard time making her case
How si heaven elitist we barely know about it lol
@@tobsonasanya4765 there were hints of it in the C.H.E.R.U.B. episode in Helluva Boss and I saw this theory explaining that back then God took care of both Heaven and living world but when the human population increase around 70 years ago He decided to dedicate his attention to the livings and left Heaven in the hands of it’s angels so now Heaven is ruled by nice people instead of good people because they don’t care about the person’s intentions only about this person’s impact on Earth and the sad truth is that those who got good families and comfortable lives will always have better odds of getting into Heaven and for them doing something bad to survive, such as stealing food so you won’t starve, or having some psychological problem caused by someone else and not having a proper treatment, like Angel Dust using drugs to try to run from how miserable he feels, is no excuse for doing something imoral so they leave them in Hell
As King of Hell aren't all 7 Rings, which are a part of Hell, and thus every resident in those rings, Princes Included, technically under Lucifer's rule as well
I feel like if a imp somehow gets to heaven, it becomes a Cherub
I have a perfect video idea for you, make a chart of hell as far as we know, like in episode 2, blitz says the nearest ocean is three rings below when he was in the greed ring in loo land so the greed ring must be in ring 4,5,6 and the ring with the ocean can be in 2,3 i don't think it will be one since those are reserved for something bigger i guess?
Big brain energy
I don’t know if this is even up for consideration, but upon looking at the tweet by Helluva boss, it says that ‘sinners’ cannot exist outside of the pride ring. This could insinuate that sinners could go to other rings, but they would not survive or simply cease to exist. Maybe I’m just reading too much into it but that’s what I see…
If I’m correct the Extermination event takes places in all of hell. If it doesn’t then hellborn demons could just stay in other rings yet they don’t as we saw in the pilot. Plus, it’s said the sirens that signal the start of the event can be heard in every ring of hell. The angels sent to hell for the extermination also don’t discriminate on what type of demons they kill, sinner or hellborn, they kill as many as they can, that’s their job on that day, it wouldn’t make sense to do that in only a single ring.
It made sence to me
Wait aren't the 7 prince of hell are bunch of falling angels?
They are probably trapped in the pride ring so the angels can hunt them easily and also to make them more uncomfortable with the overpopulated city, the rent there must be really expensive just by law of offer and demand 🤔🏠
Alastor really likes that portrait
As the princes rule over the seven rings, lucifer rules over all of hell
about chasing their own sin, in wrath apparently war is common or at the very least seen as a good and/or fun thing
I think it's for the protection of those who were born in hell.
Sinners can only be killed with angelic weapons and the like as far as I know, whereas imps and hellhounds still have to worry about conventional ways of getting hurt even if they're probably still harder to kill than living humans, so imps and whatnot without such weapons would be extremely vulnerable to being attacked by sinners (who, let's not forget, are literally there because they've done bad things so there's plenty of murderers and violent people already among them).
Keeping them contained to the pride ring where they appear in the first place ensures the safety of any of hell's other residents. Imp City and other cities were likely set up for doing business with the sinners with a "you choose to live here among the sinners, you choose to put yourself in that danger."
Letting them do pretty much whatever they want in the Pride Ring, such as those massive turf wars, is just considered "who cares, they're doing it to themselves."
There's been mention of wars in hell and this is where I wanna bring something up about feudalism:
Kings having more power than their vassals - that is to say their vassals collectively - hasn't been the norm in history. Most successful or partially successful rebellions weren't led or started by commoners but by powerful vassals banding together against the ruler.
Lucifer and his forces might be more capable than any individual prince, but collectively it may be the case that they could defeat him or at least push things to a stalemate and get concessions...
say, "you and your sinners stay in that Pride Ring cos we're sick of them almost none of them pay their taxes and they cause property damage" concessions?
Alternatively Lucifer also wants them in his ring only because he wants them under his control or, since he rules all of hell, also wants to contain the damage they cause. The borderline anarchy he allows and the purges may secretly be a means to gather angelic weapons in hell and promote a kind of survival of the fittest among the sinners in his ring so that he can use them as a powerful army later (there IS limited space in the Pride Ring and we've gone over why they're not wanted anywhere else, so removing some is necessary, but doing it in this way where the strongest and most intelligent always survive is gonna lead to the Pride Ring consisting almost entirely of really powerful demons given enough time).
Stolas wanting there to be more global warming could be a move against this. Less people on earth means more in hell in the short run but in the long run means more people dying (cos people being alive means more people being born means more death in the long run). Or it could be assisting in this as Lucifer is actually planning to do something with this army soon enough for the short-term gain of sinners to be a good thing and has Stolas helping him.
You know to keep them under control and their battles where he is for sport
You’re paying too much attention to Christian writings of Lucifer and not enough on the way the show actually portrays him. It’s clear in Episode 8 that he wants to help Charlie get the sinners to heaven, and that the reasons he had doubts in her plan in the first place are 1) The angels wouldn’t listen, and 2), he thought that sinners were unchangeable. The show also makes Lucifer’s “meddling” with creation less a purposeful act of defiance and more of a form of art that no one else thought was any good. From what I could tell, the only reason he gave humans free will was to allow them to express themselves more.
This is a video from like 2 years before Lucifer appeared in the show with this personality. None of the information you are complaining about existed back then.
@@CartoonUniverse I didn't even notice the date, sorry!
no worries it happens. Our newer stuff approaches it from a show accurate angle, while still being very researched, consider checking them out.
yall should sub... we all know youre getting half your hazbin fix from these videos. might as well make it official!
if you look at the new episode when they’re in the elevator room going to lust, the gems above the elevator door represent the rings of hell and they’re all color coded which you could connect to the screen to the left that shows what ring each color represented. by that you could guess Stolas’ palace would be in the envy ring since the pink color sky matched the pink gem. same to how the green sky of greed connected to the green gem
Stolas lives in the Pride ring
what i wanna know is how are humans not able to get to the other rings. cus we have seen that its a physical elevator that takes demons to the other rings. so if a sinner would try to get on, would they be blocked by a security guard or would they be blocked by some magic force field?
Maybe Sinners can't leave the Pride Ring because with their powers, it could cause serious trouble for the rest of hell. Like if any Sinners started fighting over turf in the Wrath Ring, it might wreck some of the farmlands leading to Hell-wide food storages for example
How big are the rings exactly
For those who don't know: in Dante Alighieri's Inferno the hell is divided in different parts: under the city of Jerusalem there's there's the first part of the hell where people that weren't good enough but als were bad enough live. Going down there's the river Acheronte where Charon ferry the people from a side to the other of the river (Caron dimonio) and it's from this other side that the real problems starts. So Dante goes in the first circle: herethe people who hasn't been baptized live in a "Noble castle" (un nobile castello) but have no punishment at all in the end. Second circle: the one of the Lustfuls (IMP office) here the souls are in a perpetual storm, Dante faints for the first time in the book.
Third circle: Gluttonouses. Also them in a storm but composed by snow and dirty water.
Fourth circle:greedyes and lavishes. They push stones with their chests
Fifth circle:angryes and slothfuls. With different destines in the water of the stygian swamp. Dante risk to drown due the action of Filippo Argenti
From now on we are in the city of Dite
Sixth circle:heretics. Dante has a linguistic problem with Cavalcante and meets Farinata degli Umberti: his storical enemy
Seventh circle, divided in three parts: violents (against the others, against god; nature and art, against theirself) have different destinies
Eighth circle: Fraudulents against those ones who doen't trust: divided in 10 parts
And finally Ninth Circle: Fraudolents against those ones who DOES trust: so traitors and Lucifer.
Under Lucifer the Natural Burella: a tunnel that takes to the other part of the earth. But it's dangerous to go there if there's not a fisical support, so Dante and Virgilio have to cling to Lucifer's long good.
After a long path they exit and it's night, here Dante says the famous phrase "E infin riuscimmo a riveder le stelle" "And finally we saw the stars again"
All of this in only 24 hours.
The punishements are estabilished by the law of retaliation (legge del contrappasso in the italian version)
This is a great theory
This theory makes way too much sense.
Honestly, I seriously hope that lucifer is just a cool guy who is just blunt in some situations. Because I don't think he sees his own kid as a failure, but her idea. But he could be giving her the benefit of the doubt , not only because his wife Lilith is on charlie's side, but because it's his child. Children are meant to be curious cats. So maybe Lucifer is just someone who is blunt, but also likes to take risks.
