With most of the SCR systems, the general rule of thumb is DEF dosing will be between 1% and 3% of the diesel fuel consumption. Most people find that when they calculate it out, it equals out to a dose rate of 2% of diesel fuel consumed.

over 3000km (1800+ miles) on mine and im still over 3/4. had one burn so far that it told me on the screen to drive highway speed. 2015 big horn

Yeah I know they will say that like the Fords do as I am used to but mine I drove lots of highway miles once I started using it more hence I never had this problem.

My def gauge says it's almost empty it says I've got three hundred and seventy miles and truck will not restart but the tank is full what do I do to fix this problem

I'm wondering wants going to happen to resale on these trucks. VW diesel dropped off the map after their software issues.

I saw a video where a guy removed the exhaust on a 2015 ram 1500 Eco diesel and got rid of the DEF system all together. he had to replace the module that's mounted on the right wheel well. I haven't been able to find that video, what do you know about removing the DEF system on a 1500 (if anything) ?

+alph it call be removed with a tuner sure but it will not be street legal

Hey, Little late but you think it is a good idea to delete the eco diesel like most eco diesel owners have? I am in the market and wondering if it is a good idea??

I know it's been a while since your comment, it's at your own risk,, I havent deleted my ecodiesel, I was thinking about doing it but then if you ever get pulled over by the MTO, and they look and see that you deleted all your emission stuff, you can get slapped with a hefty fine and be force to put it all back on, I know someone that had a deleted duramax and he got pulled over and caught by the MTO and it was 10k in fines and he had to spend over 13k to install all of the emission stuff back on
