I have been watching her for years on TV. So beautiful! My daughter was also diagnosed with Ms 4 years ago. I have seen several actors come out and talking about it as they were diagnosed. It is so beautiful to know that they can talk about it as hard as it is, and as a mother who has a child with MS it brings a tear to your eye. She's fabulous, and all the other actors who has came out to talk about this they are fabulous also. ❤️
It is strange that she and Selma Blair, who both appeared in the movie The Sweetest Thing in 2002, have both been diagnosed with MS.

My mom had ms growing up..... i remember christina on tv growing up and having that experience my mom. She isnt much older than me. Its crazy to see something like that.
She's an inspiration for everyone with a demyelinating disease. MOGAD, NMO and MS alike. ❤ We feel you Christina! You are not alone in your battle. 💪🏻

This disease is so weird in the way it effects different people in differt ways. Christina struggles and R&B singer Tamia is doing concerts in high heels. Prayers to both women that they continue to thrive.
It affects everyone differently, some very mildly to others more severely.
Even she says she gained 40 lbs due to medication so is it really MS that is debilitating her or the treatment?

No she did not! She’s in remission.

@@Ane127Selma hasn’t been cured. She had HSCT which is a hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation. This procedure harvests your own bone marrow, and then you’re subjected to chemotherapy so you don’t reject it when it’s returned. It’s a high risk procedure, but most people who have lucky enough to be a part of the study have had good outcomes in the short term. The procedure hasn’t been around long enough to be a proven cure.
A stem stell transplant can stop progression, but it's not a cure, there is no cure
