  • Christina Applegate is sharing an unfortunate experience that left her unknowingly ingesting someone else’s fecal matter. The actress opened up to her co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler on the two women’s “MeSsy Podcast” in an episode on April 23 titled “Can I Be Honest?” about her recent health struggles. The 52-year-old first disclosed that she contracted COVID and then revealed she also got Sapovirus - which she describes as ingesting someone else’s fecal matter from food - and believes she contracted it from ordering takeout salad. "I was so dizzy. I was so sick, I couldn't eat," Christina said, in part.

She needs a new doctor. Although, if eating a banana would help with her problem, wouldnt she just put aside her dislike for bananas for a few days? There may not be an antibiotic or Vax for sapovirus, but there ARE treatments. Pre and pro biotics plus balancing electrolytes could be helpful. Sapovirus can also be from contaminated water. Her gut microbiome is probably a mess.

@MareMarMarie Obviously I don't know her, I'm just an observer making a comment so I shouldn't be to judgy...but I think that she is like many people. They get a disease, or illness, symptoms, and they put all trust and responsibility for their health in the hands of the "experts " because they wear a white coat, and we have been conditioned to do so. It's understandable that she is angry and fearful about her diagnosis, I get it....but that isn't what gets any person well. I think when she says "there is no treatment " she really means...she doesn't know, or it isn't just a simple fix like a pill. She already feels crappy with the MS, and this was another kick in the nuts.

@@crunchybunnylady I don’t think you sounded judgey at all. I’m not a dr or know her either but when I panic googled the sapovirus it seems it’s basically a stomach virus. She said it “doesn’t go away” like it’s something that once you get, you have forever. Why would she think that? (Again I’m only a dr from Google university lol) and for her to still be suffering symptoms from what she thinks is sapovirus weeks later, I think she said 4 weeks she’s been suffering with bowel incontinence (when Google said people that get it who have underlying illnesses usually have longer lasting symptoms lasting which clear up in about a week.) and she’s already ill with MS… I don’t get why her dr wouldn’t be bringing her in for more tests. I would be seeking a second opinion if I were her.

I think most people really don't want to know how their food is handled and by whom, be it food you buy in stores or eat in restaurants. 🤣🤣🤣
I actually run a big candy store, inbetween easy job. A renowned store. It has like 350 silos you can scoop candy from. When I came in the candy that customers/employees dropped on the floor was collected and put back in the silos later....bon appetit 🤣. Expiration dates were wiped off wrappings with nailpolish remover when things were expired....a lot was. 🤣
Companywide they deliver candy that's short to the expiration date for a cheaper price....wrapped candy.....so we can get it out of the boxes and it can be put in the silos for more than full price....so it ends up being sold beyond the expiration date but you can't see/check it anymore. 🤣
I stopped this nonsense as much as possible but that had been going on for years with the owner demanding it.
    Bon appetit. 🤣
