- Excalibur is a unique Arrow hybrid coaster at Valleyfair. This has been on the chopping block for years, but it's still running as of 2022. This ride is tucked in the back of the park, so very little of the layout can be seen from within the park's boundaries. So this video also includes footage from the adjacent bike path, showing the full layout.
Super underrated. That hill after the helix has some pretty strong ejector

We walked the bike path. We needed a break after eating the Monte Cristo from Minnesota Eats. That thing was heavy!

I agree that hill is great.
This is the first time I've seen this ride from this angle. It's quite short but, it travels much faster and looks more forceful than I thought. Great Video.
It was cool to see it from the road.
While this may be my least favorite coaster at the park, I still consider it a fundamental part of Valley Fair and always try to ride it when I get the chance.
It's an important coaster for them.
Besides Gemini at Cedar Point, are there any other Arrow hypers out there (mine trains don't count).

Of topic but thought you might like to know as I read you like Efteling because of the theming and dark rides. Spookslot in Efteling will be replaced by another spooky attraction called Dance Macabre. The project will cost 25 million euros. Lots of Efteling fans were upset Spooskslot would go away, they even started a petition to keep it. That is probably why Dance Macabre will have elements of Spookslot. Plans have leaked out that it will be some sort of church benches that will float into the air and give it some sort of spooky show. They made a Dance Macabre trailer, but it shows only a graveyard and some other things. They also created Archipel a cool playground set in water, the water can be drained in cold weather. On tv they said Efteling is going to expand the size of the park for more rides. A big company probably would put more rollercoasters in, but since Efteling is owned by its own foundation they said they will return back to basics and focus more on theming. Mr Disney came to the Netherlands once, but it is not clear if he visited Efteling.

It is interesting to see your positive review of Efteling as many of the rollercoaster fans say Efteling is not that great of a park because of the limited amount of rollercoasters. I am more into the theming of the park, I dont really enjoy rollercoasters because I already get sick on a normal swing. The Pirate ship swing is even worse than rollercoasters. Driving fast cars on the other hand I dont have a problem with.You seem to have been to lots of theme and amusement parks, I was wondering what is the best park in the world to go to or what is considered the best park in the world among theme and amusement parks fanatics (not counting Disney) P.s. Have you ever heard of themepark Plopsaland in Belgium, it was built around a childrens tv series about a gnome called Plop. Lot of the rides are for children but I heard they have the first extreme spinning coaster in Europe based on music festival Tomorrow Land.

Canobie, your filming of Excalibur next to the roadway is testament of your filming dedication! YOU remind me of...."ME" in my younger years. The lovely sound of an Arrow lift/roll back + trim/ final brake brings back many HaPpY memories! Tomorrow is Flag Day/ Whiskey Day. I'll wave the 'ol Glory & have a toast to you and yours!

I’ve been wanting to ride this for so long and it was unfortunately closed during my first visit. Will have to go back this summer to try again. The airtime on that twisted hill looks ridiculous!

Valley fair is my home park and this monstrosity of a coaster should have been removed years apon years ago!! So rough boring and just visually ugly af they honestly need to get some new coasters even some old b&m inverts or hell even standing would be better then what they got outlaw and wild thing are ok I guess but we need something exciting damnit!
I like the coaster, but I can't deny the parl may be better removing it.
