I really like that thing about how this isn't a puzzle channel or a magic channel. It is a channel where you upload things you want to upload. Personally, I love your magic content. I was only able to get into magic because of the tutorials on your channel.
But I am glad you are doing what you like doing. An internet with Chris Ramsay is much better than an internet without one.

A puzzle was how I found your channel. That puzzle was why I subscribed. Didn't even know you were a magician. Watched some of those videos too, and they were great as well. So do whatever brings you joy, man, it's sure to be fantastic either way!

Mr. Ramsey : I came to this channel because of the puzzle video, in the beginning I skipped the magic tutorials, after a while I started watching magic clips. Now my cards have become something like an obsession, they are always with me. Mr. Ramsay people miss your magic tutorials because you learn good and quality magic, which leaves a great impression. However, your decision is only yours, and people can always look at what your friends post on RUclips and will not praise the tutorial to anyone. : P p.s.Learning from you (although we never met) helped me deal with the shit that was in my head, and hindered me from making progress. And if people need tutorials in addition to everything else experience related to life, business, etc. which you transmit in your videos.Then these people don't even deserve to watch your puzzle video. :)
I came for the magic and I stayed for the magic but I love all the content equally❤ I do love learning new little tricks to toss into the stuff I already know or have been learning myself. It's a way to add some simple in the moment street magic into a simple interaction and not make it super involved and time consuming for them :) thanks for that. You got me back into magic from when I was young and we are similar in age so it's fun to watch someone who puts some humor or flair into things and you can see you honestly enjoy the stuff your show us or make content on :) ❤ thanks again and keep doing you

Last year I started watching Chris for the puzzles, this week I bought 50 bucks worth or working decks and can't stop fidgeting with cards.
Nicely taught chris.been using all 3 of these for a number of years, the 1st in most cases unless the room is dimly lit...as Chris said it's very smooth and inperceiva be with correct dialog timing. Keep up the great work sir!

I originally found your vids on Facebook of you solving puzzles and that caught my attention coz I like watching how you solve them and then I found you do other magic, slight of hand and cardistry, and now I'm practicing what I can to fool my family and friends, keep uploading the awesome content how ever you feel man, gonna enjoy it no matter what it is!

Hell, puzzles help sharpen the mind and dexterity of the fingers, which sounds like things you need for magic tricks as well. keep doing what you feel.
Peeks are my weakness, well one of... I am in fact right handed, but I handle the cards as a left handed person. I still love the magic related videos, I came here because of that so I am a bit sad that you stepped back, but that doesn't effect me, I watch every video you make. Much love!

In that time i have dove deep into the archives of your puzzle videos and LOVE THEM, more recently I have really enjoyed your magic tutorials as they are easy to learn and impress my 7 yr old daughter. Do you man. I showed up for the puzzles and then went back and got hooked on the magic. My son is 7 and wants to do card tricks so I've been trying to learn some easy stuff for him to do then hopefully he will just run with it. I even ordered him a deck of white lions he will magically get when he shows me something I didnt show him. Love the channel keep doing you.

Hey Chris, it was your tutorials and Shin's first Fool Us appearance which sparked interest in me like 2 years ago. I remember you didn't even have a million subscribers back then. I can relate to your situation because although I enjoy magic very much, even I can lose interest and considering it's even bigger part of your life the frustration is unavoidable. Ifind your puzzle videos interesting as well but am not a big fan of the puzzles on their own. Still, always top quality videos from you
My favourite and most useless Peek: Fan out the cards so you can see their front sides and the person you are performing to sees the back. Now let them choose a card and of course you see which card they took.
Now they can look at their card and put it back in the deck and you will find it.
Of course this peek is incredibly dumb and I have only managed to do it twice, but it is a fun way to test how good you are at distracting the other person.
It is not easy but possible for them not to realize that you saw all the cads when letting them choose.
That's like the dumbest thing I've ever read in my entire life.

7:09 that bubble peek is much different and less subtle than the one I learned almost 30 years ago. In mine, the front of the cards by my thumb and finger tips stay flat and together and the opposite index of the card (by my thenar eminence) slightly lifts and I peek there.

I love using this peek. It's so nonchalant. I just try to bring the cards down sooner to not show the break as easily and keep the cards messy to give the not caring attitude.

Strongly considering getting into magic, it's always been interesting to me and you keep bringing me closer to going for it. Even just some basic stuff just for fun with friends and what not.
Do it! Go grab a $3 pack of bikes and get started. I started a couple months ago and it's already fueled a new card collection addiction as well the fun of just learning new tricks! Don't get discouraged with the difficulty of some techniques. Keep at it and it's so satisfying to finally get it.

Always loved puzzles and magic, seems like they go together IMO. Magic is a form of puzzles isn't it? I always ask myself how it was done, and love figuring it out or theorizing.
