I am OBSESSED with this foundation. It’s STUNNING. I literally crave using it every day lol. I have oily skin too and it smooths my pours so nicely. Doesn’t break me out. Lasts like 10+ hours without breaking up or feeling gross on the skin. 💯

@Angelika Jones I actually don’t use any primer! The moisturizer I use is just pretty simple for daytime, the Cetaphil lightweight face and body, most days. Or the new Ole Henrikson strength trainer. - I do always set the makeup with Kosas Cloud Set or a mattifying one, and a setting spray Urban Decay All Nighter / Benefit Pourfessional! They all mesh well together! 💓💓
I got a sample but found it really sheer, so I mixed it with the nars matte foundation might give it ago again without mixing.
It's full coverage right? So is it okay to use it on daily basis
I absolutely love this foundation I've been using it about month and I've even tried mixing it in with the soft matte and its a great combo

I absolutely LOVE this foundation!! I usually get the lightest shade, but when I picked it up, they were out. So, I got the next shade up and it still works amazingly!! I hear the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin is similar, but they never had my shade. So, how do they compare? Great video, Nikkia! 💚

This is off the wall but have you tried the Covergirl Outlast Extreme Wear with the red cap? This is my current daily fave. I can use the Hard Candy Hydrating Grip Primer, that foundation, my Nikkia Joy Cosmetics loose powder and oh my stars! I do not have to touch up all day, no joke! Like 12+ hour wear. I am a oily skin type girl too like you and this stuff is awesome! Would love to see a review from a makeup pro on it. I’m hoping NJC has a foundation in the works for us oily skin types! I’ll be jumping on that for sure!

Ohhhhh very close call between the two. I think possibly soft matte BUT both equally almost when using Njc primer and powder and I only say that because I used the primer and powder with both and experienced that result 🥰🥰🥰

Just a thought she didn’t mention the primer used I’m assuming it is because it’s her own and she hasn’t came out with it yet? What brother is my suspicion is that I’ve never seen a primer do that in my entire life to that noticeable of a difference so I hope this isn’t just strategic marketing and hopefully the primer really is that good here’s to fingers crossed!

completely different feeling on the skin than the radiant foundation. More coverage, smoothing, lighter on the skin (this new one). The radiant I often mix with soft matte to give a nice satin finish. For me, I have dry skin, the radiant finish FEELS like it'll slip and slide but it doesnt.... personally loving this new formula!

Question: wouldn’t a primer make a barrier on the skin? Meaning the skin care elements won’t be able to work, because that barrier is there? Wouldn’t the skin care ingredients be kind of useless if you’re putting a barrier on the skin first? I’m so confused. Lol
Yes that does make sense, and could possibly be a possibility. It all basically comes down to ingredients and molecule sizes!
this is why I dont use primer during the day. It interferes with my suncreen which is key

I bought this foundation today and I used it as soon as I got home, how it looks on my skin is absolutely flawless and amazing. At the end of the day it looked as good as when I applied it 😦. The only thing is that it came off my nose because I kept touching my nose, this is after I patted it, so I think it transfers on my T-zone as my T-zone is a little more prone to oils, which is pretty standard I’d say based on all of the videos I’ve seen on all foundations.
I’m glad you enjoy it lovely, possibly try a matte primer in the t zone or set it a little more ❤️

I love this formula! .. without sunscreen!! ... BUT I'm still yet to find a sunscreen that would work with it. My favourite La Roche Posay Sunscreens is breaking down the formula (I think).... Any suggestions?
Ohhhhh that is a good one, you could try a more zinc based physical spf, they are usually a bit more drier and don’t seem to seperate products as much ☺️

Looks really nice on you and your video makes me want it, but I’m too nervous to get this one and pay that price tag. I got the Nars Soft Matte foundation, which you and most other people with oily skin seem to love, and no matter what I do I can’t get it to work with my skin. After about three hours it sinks into every pore and starts to break up. I’ve tried five different primers, including a hydrating one, and tried with powder and no powder, different setting sprays, and just can’t get it to work. It’s made me very wary of Nars now.

Ahhh Nikkia!!! I tried this foundation and haaaated it idk what I did wrong! I tried it so many ways and it just slid off my oily spots and clung to my texture/dry patches. I see all the good reviews and I’m like oh my gosh whaaaattt?? Must just be my skin 🤣
I love Nara foundations. Got his one and I’m still not sold. The best I’ve seen it look on me was without primer. If you’re using primer avoid those with silicone. I used my fingers and it was a little better too. I’m still debating returning it and getting sheer glow. I might give me one more week.

I already returned it or that would definitely be my next step! I just don’t want to have a foundation that’s tricky to get to work good ya know? It cosmetics bye bye foundation is my favorite so I just went back to that for now!

The soft matte came off so easily and looked so bad on my skin
Depending on what your skin type is!? A little drier than me? Then probably yes, give it a go ☺️
@@nikkiajoy thank you! I've never been sure how to explain my skin type is, isn't feels oily esp on my nose, but after I wash my face it always feels dehydrated. And makeup always comes off on my chin way too easily. Or heavier/fuller coverage foundations cake up really bad and don't last.

Hi am just wondering what kind stage make up you could recommend thats like estee lauder camouflage. I have been using this foundation for 2 years now and I really love love it's coverage BUT it's giving me really bad blind pimplescaring on my forehead and I'm wondering if it's the spf in it. My skin doesn't actually do well with spf so I need a full face coverage foundation with no spf. Also what amazing face primer would you recommend?

Oh interesting babe🧐 do you have dry skin? It could be grabbing to textured patches! I would recommend exfoliating regularly and making sure your skincare has had plenty of time to absorb before applying a primer 😍
I'm oily just like you and I got a sample of this and loved it so much. I was super shock by how well it looked and held up on my skin. So I bought a full size and it should be here tomorrow! Lol. Glad it was the same experience for you!

I bought this one and I don’t think that it is worth the price tag. The pump is leaky. It has Very light coverage and it oxidises. On the plus side, it does look natural and has that blurring effect. It did not work well with hourglass mineral veil primer.

I’m normally a combination of dry to normal skin. this foundation makes me oily af after few hrs. It even cakes up around the nose and chin.
