Love how honest your reviews are! That close up is so necessary. Too often people review a product with filters and beauty lights which makes any foundation look flawless.
Maybe it’s just me but I think it still looked pretty damn good after you had worn it for 14-15 hours. I feel like it’s unrealistic to expect your foundation to be 100% perfect by the end of the day. Companies shouldn’t claim their products are transfer-proof/resistant, but consumers should also have realistic expectations too. As long as you don’t look like a wreck after 8 hours I’d call it a win.
Yeah I agree. I'm a MUA and I always stay safe to 8hrs and even then I touch up because I'm oily.

I think you should try it without any primer as many time longwear foundations adhere better to un-primed skin. Sometimes the silicone in a primer can make some foundations transfer. Just worth a try.

NARS recommends wearing this foundation without primer and warming it up (that's why you use fingers)
I have pretty normal to combination skin and I love how this foundation looks on me! I use it with the nars primer, nars concealer and nars setting powder and these products work super well together. The only complaint I have is that I’m a ballet dancer which means I sweat a lot during the day and if I don’t put enough powder, the foundation will definitely transfer when I touch my face. But if I put enough powder it’s usually fine. Overall I really love this foundation but I know we have completely different skin types❤️
How this is a true review!! A whole ballet dancer!! Not just running errands but your sweating and by saying the powder works together makes me want to buy it

This foundation is EXCELLENT for Asian skin. Since this was created ive been very happy! Excellent blend the orangey tones compliment our olive skin and it comes out clear with great coverage, blends really well and gives it a bright finish on your skin. If I use rimmel for example it will make my skin look grey because I'm Indian whereas it might work wonders on someone who is more fair skinned. When I wear loreal it doesnt do nothing for me either especially under the eyes. So each foundation is different and Nars is great for Asian skin tones! Fact- its an excellent foundation.

Since it actually specifies to apply it with your fingers, I think I would try that with a NARS primer, using the "one pump at a time". Maybe the warmth is what is needed to get it to really melt into the skin?
Unfortunately I don’t have any Nars primers sorry! And it didn’t make a difference when I applied one pump at a time with my fingers on the first day😭
Just a thought that actually came from some Living Proof hair mousse that requires heat to get the best hold and volume. Plus..I know using only one pump at a time would drive me nuts!! It seems like it would take so much longer to apply. Hate that it did not work out for you! FYI...I am LOVING my Nikkia Rose Setting Spray and I can not WAIT for my lashes to get here!!! Thanks for all the great info, esp. from one ER nurse to another who knows what running a code will do to some makeup, no matter how little you put on!! 🎄❤️
I love how close you get to the camera in your videos!! Most of the time you'll hear " oh let me zoom you in" and they're still like a foot away!! Thank you for getting in there for us! Love it!

After 30 years as a makeup artist, I've tried a few foundations; this is my favourite accompanied by the NARS Light Reflecting Pressed Setting Powder.... Perfection.
I'm heart broken!!! I will get shade match & get a sample. Thank u for testing out foundations for 12hrs. I hate watching review videos of foundations being tested for 4-6hrs at home. Some of us do work long hours & commute, run errands & do house chores with 4hrs of sleep.

I have incredibly oily skin and I adore this foundation! I use the NYX angel veil primer or the Too Faced Hangover primer and it looks amazing for hours

This foundation literally applied so beautifully for about 1.5 hours.. 3 hours in, and my face got soo dry/ashy, it separated on my skin and clung to dry patches that i didnt even know i had. Ill stick to my Lancome.

I love this foundation! It didn’t get oily on me at all and I didn’t need to keep layering it like you’re doing. I have acne prone skin and lots to cover too. I guess everyone’s different 🤷♀️
I have this foundation and I found from other reviews as well that this foundation works better on dry skin as it’s more prone to transferring. If you have oily skin it will just cause the foundation to seperate and transfer 😢
I love that you try it out for multiple days! One day is not enough in my opinion! You could be having an off skin day or Using the wrong primer... or tons of other scenarios. Trying it out more then once to get an honest feel for if you like it or not is the true test. Thank you for taking the time to do that for us!

I have dry/combination skin. I tried this foundation and it looked so good on my face but I have to say that you have to apply it little by little or it will get cakey. The foundation looked better with a buffing brush but overall I think this foundation is great! I guess people have different opinions🤷🏻♀️

I don't bother with foundations that say they work for all skin types because I know it doesn't include oily and it'll just waste my time and money and most likely contain too much moisture to work for the other skin types it's supposed to work for

I've tried wearing no foundation while out all day and I still get shiny but it as bad I've tried wearing a thinner layer of liquid foundation that didn't work I've tried different primers still nothing . Even with powder foundation I still get oily, I think it might be my skin care regime it has to be

Sly Foxx lmaooooo are you kidding me? It's 1000000x times harder to find a foundation for someone with dry, flaky skin. Every fucking foundation is geared towards oily and combination skin these days. Literally, the ONLY foundation that works for me and doesn't accentuate texture, because yes, boo boo, most foundation geared towards dry and mature skin settles into every fine line and makes pores look the size of Kim kardashians ass. Thank you Nars, coming in clutch for the rest of us dry ladies! 🙌🏻
Girls, hope my sharing will be helpful for my oily skin girls out there. I had Nars Aqua Luminious and it lasts all day! Transferproof and waterproof, but at first I quite hesitate because it does feel oily in texture. Im afraid that my skin will looks like a grease ball. And then, a few months ago, I bought the new one, Nars Radiant and it transfers everywhere! Mousse texture, not runny at all, I thought it will be much better than the Aqua. So I tried mix it with my face oil. And suprisingly, it stays all day! It doesnt budge at all. And my skin stays fresh and natural for more than 6 hours. Now, I use oil as my moisturiser and primer. Our skin produce more oils because it is dehyrated, thus face oil helps in lessen the oil production and keep our skin hydrated. It works well for my oily skin.

I have dry skin and I love this foundation. I love to apply this best with a brush, my makeup stays on for the whole day. It does not emphasize my dry patches, I really love this product and I dont use primers when applying this. Although, I do say that it does transfer however I dont really set my face with powder.
I had the same experience with this foundation. I have combo skin. It separated badly, especially on my nose and chin. It emphasizes dry areas and smile lines, and made me look older.
I tried this foundation before I watched your review and wanted to watch people's reviews to see if anyone had the same experience I did! And you are the only one so far that has been honest! I have oily combination skin and even after 2 hours, it started looking cakey and separated so horribly on me! I never usually comment but I was so shocked how much it separated on me and how terrible it looked on my skin after only a couple hours, even though RUclipsrs have been saying how amazing it is.So just wanted to say thank you for being honest and that I definitely had the same experience.

Maybe that foundation doesnt wear well with primers as most of the foundations...so try use it with just moisturizer !!!

Heidi Aguilar no they just add ingredients meant for the specific formula.. any long wear foundation should be fine for oily skin , yet with normal to dry , we need more Radiance & hydrating ingredients.. I just got this and have normal to dry , it did Cling bit but I didn't get oily at all . Ima try it with less prouduct .. fave right now for my skintype is Tarte Rainforest.

Nikkia, I purchased it on Sat. along with the primer, wore it for a week & returned it the following Sat. It did the same thing on me. Seperated, got oily, got all over my glasses & I even got a pimple. I really wanted to love this.

Jetta Justinian this is their best most natural looking foundation. I would say it's a solid dupe for luminous silk foundation. As a makeup artist I would say but it if you want a natural finish of foundation that will hide your imperfections. If you want the fake beauty guru look this product is not for you!

I'm glad I did not purchase Nars Radiant Foundation. I tried a sample of it along w the concealer from the same brand and I must say I am not fan either. My skin is combo (dry /oily t zone). It enhanced every pore and fine line of my face. I'll keep using my Loreal 24 Hr Fresh Wear, which is way more affordable plus I can grab it easily at the drugstore.

cathy this is the foundation I use. I put it on at 7.30am and take it off at around 9pm and it still looks amazing so I would love to see her review as well. It's my go to foundation. It's amazing
I think they reformulated it. My skin is more on the oily side and it looks flawless on me. And it lasted a good 5-6 hours before I noticed any separation. Wore it to a full day at work and by the time I got home, i needed a touch up.

Finally, someone with oily/combo skin that does honest af reviews. A lot of other gurus have normal skin and its just not always the best for me to rush and buy a foundation that works beautifully for skin that isn't like my own. I have a huge issue with foundation wearing off my nose. (': I wanted this foundation, but I think I'll pass.

I did not get on with this foundation for all the same reasons as Nikkia but I tried the new natural radiant cushion foundation and it does all the things that this one claims to do. It is amazing.
I wonder if it would work better for dry skin types, even though is advertised for oily skin. Nevertheless, it’s a hard pass for me. A foundation with such high price tag that claims to be transfer proof and comes off that easily? Oh hell no. Thank you Nikkia for the review and saving us the 💰
Also Nars used to be cruelty free and now they’re not anymore just to make more money with the Chinese market. One thing is changing for better, but changing for worst (bad practices and bad overpriced products) is not acceptable.

Ana Luísa Videgoi - it could be, but in general, a product should relatively work independently of the amount, cause no every person applies makeup in the same way. Some people also need more coverage than others. I normally stay away of finicky products that their use is hard to control.

I would love if you did a video on blotting papers. Are they all the same? Are there some you recommend? I just started using them since I find during mid-day at work my face feels and looks greasy. The amount of oil I sop up, oh boy. Any brands you suggest? You are my oily twin I trust lol!

FIRST OF NIKKIA...I FREAKING LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR EYELASHES!! I wore them Sat. They were light feeling...like my own. Eyes didnt water, but the quality and beauty are better then lilly lashes, tarte and even MAC!! And the whispieness and length were amazing wore them All day and night!! Thank you so much!! Nars is no longer cruelty free. They're trying to sell in China which requires animal testing!
chab1rd 1 - how terrible. Never seen any big and well established brand take a turn for the worst like Nars. It’s normally the other way around. Too bad for them cause they’re gonna loose customers. I know I’m not buying their products any longer.

I am oily no combo and I love this foundation. I use the too face sweet peachy matte primer... I set it was my MAC powder and it’s been 10 hours and my face looks good. Yes, I had oil come through around hour 6 but I looked hydrated not oily and greasy. I recommend a good primer and setting spray if you are oily like me. YES, I am oily but I don’t always want to look matte and boring. I hope this helps someone because the foundation is really beautiful.
