So i mix the NARS and my Estee Double Wear. They both are just slightly off color wise and the combo makes the shade PERFECT!
The combo of this foundation with the Charlotte Tilbury setting spray is mask proof in my experience!

I've seen many reviews on this foundation bt I needed to hear it from you because there ain't any other person who would be honest about their reviews like you do. I basically trust you with my life. I'm literally running outta the door to get this foundation. Nikkia approved it is.

Two of my friends and I all bought this foundation last week and LOVE it! Though I have noticed that using it for a few days in a row has made my skin feel a lot dryer than normal (I’m combo/oily skin). Definitely make sure to be very moisturized before using it if you don’t have oily skin!
I love love love this foundation. I bought my first one many months ago and a second shade about five months ago. Despite the many options of foundation that I have, I reach for this pretty well daily. I haven’t worn it through summer yet but I can tell you that stays put under a mask and it is a fabulous formula. I can’t wait to stay red-free this summer. My rosacea tends to show through after wearing foundation for hours and this is phenomenal at covering the red, not wearing off through the day and not feeling like a mask!
Do you have a powder and spray and primer you wear with it? Or recommend?
Ive been DYING for you to try it. I was going to wait until you reviewed it first because my skin is so oily but I couldn’t wait! I’ve been using it a few months now. I prefer to double wear as double wear looked cakey on me and I SWEAR it almost ‘stretched’ my pores and made them larger over time. Love the Nars soft matte
So far I think NARS is the most consistent with all their products being good. I have 3 different types of their foundations, including this one, as my holy grails and their concealer.
NARS has been my go to since a color match in store a few years ago.. Sahel is my summer color 😍

@@amietiger8464 I don’t think anything covers texture well. A good primer might help better with that? I usually use putty primers and try to be light with my foundation or else it just gets cakey looking with any foundation. And then I’d avoid powder or I go over with a light coverage of foundation powder to set. That’s been my routine lately. Very little foundation and use foundation powder to set and cover a little more. I do like the nars concealer in the little pot. But you do have to use darker concealer than the scar is like with anything you use always go dark on the concealer and then go over it with your foundation. Basically you are trying to get the foundation to stick to something over the scar is why. But overall I enjoy the nars concealer and foundation - both the dewy and the matte one. I have all three nars foundations. Hope that helps?

@@Ashley-vm1bd I have dry skin but I love the look of matte foundations. I just can’t wear them. Well i can SOMETIMES get away with it but I have to prep and moisturize my skin really good. When I was younger I had oily skin though.
I finally tried it yesterday and omg made my skin look absolutely perfect....minus all the blemishes on my face! I paired it with the Revlon primer in the pink and white bottle and the elf mint melt primer, nars radiant longwear concealer and my laura mercier translucent powder! Absolutely love it!

I absolutely love this foundation, i live in the UK so I've been using it since about November and its been brilliant, I'll be honest i don't use it every day because i do use a few different foundation so i like to rotate them, so glad you finally have it ❤

Over the Moon Thrilled!!! I have the same skin type as Nikkia (textured and oily). I usually use powder foundations however being a mature lady and having mature skin I find that it always settles in my fine lines and makes me look dull.
I've been following Nikkia for years, LOVE the videos and recommendations. I don't usually buy a high-end foundation because I just don't wear it often and of course the price. HOWEVER....I had to try to this foundation because Nikkia had ridiculously perfect skin even after 6 hours. Foundations just don't look that good, that long. AND it made her speechless with the awesome results. Now if a foundation can make Nikkia speechless then by-golly it must be good, like really good!
Needless to say I bit the bullet and bought some. I am so over the moon thrilled I did! Just a little goes a long, long way in covering, perfecting, staying put and making your skin look FLAWLESS. Yes dare I say FLAWLESS and OIL FREE. I didn't have to touch up any oils, everything just stayed looking fresh and beautiful all evening. This is my now the ONLY foundation I'll ever use.
NARS do not ever discontinue it!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT
I am really, really impressed with this foundation!!!!! It's such a surprise to me as normally I would go for radiant/dewy/luminous foundations due to texture and lines! But this goes on matte (dries down quickly) but as time goes on, does let some oil through but not in a greasy oil slick way! It just makes you look more dewy rather than oily which is actually what I've been trying to achieve but can't with dewy foundations as they melt off my oily areas! This is the only foundation I have never had to powder! It has good staying power and looks the same hours later! I've even had a cat nap and woke up looking the same!!! I've noticed bronzer and blusher look exceptionally good all day long with this foundation... it keeps it looking fresh and doesn't fade at all! I think it helps to blur and it definately covers redness! I only need one thin layer without the need to build it up so it should last longer than average! I love the packaging too. I have an oily t zone with normal skin everywhere else (except mascne 😷😪) . I think this is as holy grail as I'm ever going to get! It also doesn't feel heavy or look powdery like I remember EL Double wear used to look on me... I actually apply this with a dry beauty blender and just stipple it on. I've not tried doing it any other way as that worked immediately! I'm really shocked. I once tried NARS radiant longwear and it was the worst foundation I've ever tried! Within an hour it had separated on my face no matter how I tried it. I shall be sticking to this foundation from now on. No more wasting money on trying to find a decent foundation!

I only trust Nikkia’s reviews as they’re so honest. And as a fellow oily/textured/imperfection prone skin, her opinion is the only opinion I trust! Also the only ‘RUclipsr/influencer’ brand I’ve purchased from. Love all her products. Only thing I haven’t tried yet is her brushes and loose pigments. I absolutely LOVE her lashes, sponges, highlight palette and her setting powder! 10000000% recommend!

I am 53, with combo skin. I get oily in the t zone. I purchased this foundation a couple months ago and LOVE it. I will say that you have to work with it in small sections. Do NOT put it all over then blends, put it on in small sections and blend. It stays on under a mask for 7+hours. This and double wear are my holy grails,

I wanted to love this foundation as it looked amazing the first 3 hours after application, but then it started separating gradually to the point where I ended up with small dots of foundation all over my face. I pretty much looked like a reptile by the end of the day. 🥴
I ended up returning it since it also had an oil/grease-like smell. Might have been a bad batch. Who knows... 🤔
I returned and repurchased thinking maybe it's a bad batch but nope, it does the strange texture thing on me too
Yes I absolutely LOVE This foundation by Nars & the Sheet Glow foundation is stunning! These the are also probably the best foundations I’ve ever tried besides some of the Maybelline ones, and the Hourglass vanish stick. ❤️❤️❤️

I can't believe you are just now trying this fondation from Nars, which realeased last summer. It is amazing especially for oily combination faces. Its the best for transferproof for masks, some runs off but not much.

I bought this in November last year. I had a difficult time finding the right shade and had to exchange at Sephora. I still think its a tiny bit too warm but I'll live with it. I do like how matte the formula is. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong time of year to try it as it ended up being to drying for my normally very oily t-zone. I'm excited to try once the weather warms up!

I know she recommends Stay Matte primer by Rimmel, I bought it on her suggestion, and I really like it. I use it on my t-zone and a hydrating one under my eyes and everywhere else (I'm not saying that's necessary, but I'm over 40 and trying to be extra kind to my eye area). You can get get a 2 pack on Amazon for $8.36, or $7.11 with subscribe and save. Hope that helps

It caked on my oily skin, I found the 2faced born this way matte performed better. It didn't cake or separate. The Nars one isn't as good as double wear in my opinion. I also notice that the oily skin reviews on the Nars website are reporting the same issue about caking and settling into pores when the oils come through

This would be perfect for me because I can never find a concealer that doesn’t crease under my creepy eyes, it’s an all in one foundation, just a shame that our Mecca here in Australia 🇦🇺 doesn’t sell it, I’m getting sick of having to purchase products online and having to pay the exchange rate and shipping costs it just doesn’t make sense Why Mecca doesn’t sell this foundation, not everyone has access to online shopping from different stores unless your a RUclipsr. @@-nellie-m3711 Mecca has "exclusivity" contracts with a lot of brands meaning that they can ONLY be sold in Mecca. Those brands you will never find in Myer, David Jones or anywhere else, ONLY MECCA because the brand signed a contract saying they'll only sell to AU through Mecca. Because of this, you cannot buy those brands (like Nars) from any overseas retailer. IE at Cult Beauty, you can buy lots of other brands but if you try to put a Nars product in your cart it will say "cannot ship this product to Australia". It's a whole thing. Lot of consumer very angry at Mecca about this.
@@catgandini Thank You Kindly for explaining that to me, I get so frustrated with trying to buy skincare products here that are sold in the USA but not here, we have some of the products from brands but not all of them, I’m wanting to try the Drunk Elephant baby facial but Mecca doesn’t sell it and I’m not sure if they even ship that product to Australia 🇦🇺 all because of the ingredients and our Australian standards, we are so behind the times when it comes to makeup and skincare products, whenever we’ve travelled to the USA, I bring home a hand luggage bag full of products that I can’t buy here and now it looks like I won’t be doing any travelling any time soon. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😗😗

@@artsybirdy I’m sure you can sheer it out a little bit if you use one drop for your whole face. I use 2 little drops with a sponge and it’s very full coverage.
