It's a rare thing to see someone not blur or use ridiculously bright beauty lights to blur their natural skin. We are all human and I love that Soph shows she's just like the rest of us with breakouts, pores, and scars

I've been struggling a lot recently, I found the first lockdown really hard and only just managed to get through it, and now with this second one just announced I don't know how I'm going to cope. I hope everything goes back to normal soon. Your videos always help to cheer me up though. ❤️
What helped you get through the first lockdown? Maybe that can help this time around, too❤️ And if you don’t mind me asking, what is your living situation? If you’re living alone, perhaps it could be beneficial to your mental health if you move in with parents/family/friends if it’s possible! Stay strong!! You’re amazing for getting through the first and you’ll get through this one also xx

You’re the first person on RUclips I’ve seen that shows spots and pimples and even how makeup looks without studio lighting. It honestly makes me feel more normal. Social media can be so deceiving even in ways you don’t consider...pimples are normal! Thanks for sharing and for having the bravery required. ❤️

I have hormonal acne due to having PCOS and it usually clusters mainly on my chin and jawline so it could definitely easily be hormonal for you. I hope it evens out for you very soon or you find something that works for you in getting rid of it! Great content! Love you!
I use that nars concealer everyday under my eyes and just use a mini beauty blender in the pot and then my normal beauty blender to blend it out then set it with loose translucent powder.

Love watching your channel/reviews as you are so honest and I love that you show how your makeup looks in real lighting and the close up zoom on your face to show real skin and texture. A lot of reviews do not show real representation of how foundation looks on the skin because of all the studio lighting, giving a lot of people unrealistic expectations as to how the foundation should look. I would love to!! However the room I film in is narrower length ways, so I wouldn’t be able to fit my background in to face my window if that makes sense! Also a lot of the time I film in the evenings/at night and it gets dark at like 5pm so it’s pretty tricky! But maybe I should try to switch up my set up! 😊

I’ve heard putting the concealer on first is better to do blemishes and then doing eyes after foundation like you did. I really want to try this foundation as I’m quite oily! Great review as always 😊😊

The concealer is my favorite concealer to use all over my face, its really the only one I like for concealing spots. I like to use it on days I am going out of my house and am breaking out but don't want to actually do my makeup.
I have dry skin and have be kind of mindful when I use this foundation but it does look really flawless

After a few tough weeks Soph her video's put me through. So I have saw almost all the old video's and finished with this one is so nice. Thank you Soph for being my happy place for now.
I love the new NARS soft matte foundation but it took me a minute to find the best application. It dries quickly and too much makes for cake face. I found that if I wet my beauty blender with very warm water AND warmed up the foundation by running the closed bottle under hot water that it spread smoothly and set into my face with a natural, skin-like finish and didn't sink into my pores or wrinkles. Hope this helps anyone trying this beautiful foundation!

I would definitely say this this a skin like matte. I’ve tried many matte foundations and this one is really weightless and looks like skin but not shiny and not tight and uncomfortable on the skin. Super comfortable and weightless. I love it. And I am not a NARS foundation person but this Soft Matte NARS Foundation is Amazing.

My favourite is make-up by artdeco. I've got very sensitive skin and my cheekbone area is definitely not good but with artdeco it gets better and it stays hydrated. 🧡🌞

Typically when acne appears mostly on the bottom half of the face its due to hormones. I struggle with the same thing, hope it gets better! You're amazing!
Only used mine once so far and had exactly the same issue with the separation and I didn't use the concealer so I think it is the foundation, I used a new primer though and I'm not sure it was right for me so I'll be experimenting with that next time. Thank you for your honest review lots of people raving about this I thought I was going mad when it did this to me xxx
the radiant foundation is just the best. I love it too! Actually all of my base products are from Nars, nothing beats them, especially the concealers..and the shades...the shadeeees!!!! So good.

I also hate pot concealers under my eyes BUT they’re amazing for blemishes. I put it on spots before foundation, let it dry a min or 2, and put my foundation on top! 😊
You need to try the thin Lizzy fiber lash I’m ligit obsessed with it brought it the other day and will be getting rid of some other mascaras I have and buying a back up

Hey soph just a little tip when my face breaks out I use (which hazel) it works really good on my skin. I apply it every two hours so if u want to try that u can it might not work but it does work for me I’m just trying to help. What (witch hazel) does is that it drys out the blemishes and makes them go away but if u use lotion your basically “feeding” your blemishes so if you do use (witch hazel) i would not use lotion for the best results.😁❤️
Not much has changed for me in the new lockdown, still working from home. Have been since the first lockdown. The only big difference is I am now in a high risk group as I am 15 weeks pregnant. So having to be alot more careful when I go out. I feel you with the skin break outs my hormones have gone bit crazy lots around my mouth and jawline. Like when I was a teen.

I love Happy Hour!! Definitely one of my favourite podcasts out there. And I would love to try the foundation, I'm just worried it would be too dry on my cheeks but I will definitely ask for a sample next time I'm in Sephora.
