Just a hint I have used before about the powder packaging... Take the top once it is out and punch several holes in it with a needle to create a sifter design. More holes, more powder. Then put it back in the container. Next time, just shake the powder out on the top and open as you would any sifter powder. I have done this a few times in my 50 plus years of makeup wearing. I am 72 and enjoy your video style. A larger size needle or even the tip of an ice pick works well.

I love that you do a wear test and it's a *wear test*. I understand that filming for many folks happens later in the day, but seeing a foundation truly go through sweat and a 10+ hour day, and to see your real skin without any filtering, is so useful. This foundation sounded good to me but the reviews I'd seen so far were not especially rigorous. This makes me think I may actually want to try it out or try out another NARS foundation, and it's because you did such an excellent job showing what the product genuinely does. Thank you!!!
I'm not for sure if this hack may help anyone but every time I do this I have a flawless look all day including playing outside in humid weather with my grandchildren and swimming in the pool! So after I put on primer, concealer and foundation with my trusty AOA sponge, I spray it with my setting spray and pounce all over my face. That technique also sets my 54 year old under eye area and there's no need to set that with powder anymore.
My Mother swears by that Nars concealer. She went to Sephora and had her makeup done and that's what they used on her and she really loves it for mature under eye. It works really well for her. I tend to disagree with what you said about the Catrice powder. I think that it really does make a difference. The pressed one truly is waterproof and it helps me with any foundation that I decide to use. Even in the Florida humidity and sun (and rain). Great product! :)

Have you ever tried the Paula’s Choice tinted sunscreen? I absolutely LOVE it. It has just enough coverage to even out my skin tone and when I wear it on its own, it stays on ALL DAY. You might enjoy it if you like tinted moisturizers.

The other day it was so humid, my face melted straight down my cheeks. I was outside walking through the park and it completely slipped down my cheeks. I had forgotten to put a setting spray on. It was a sample of Lancome which was beautiful and my bronzer was brand new by Hourglass. It had looked great until mother earth got ahold of me!!!! 😂😂
I’ve seen the soft matte foundation and now I’m really excited to get it knowing that you love it even with normal to dry skin! I have combo/oily. I think I’m gonna love it.

Hi Emily, I would love to have you do a video on how to determine which shades of foundation & concealers are lighter/darker, warmer/neutral/cooler within a similar shade family. I have a hard time figuring out what shade to use. With the two NARS concealers you used in this video you referenced one being lighter, but I saw it as darker🤔Would love to have your expertise weigh in on this. AMATEUR! "Sweat 2 times a day", please I'm in the mist of hot flashes (6 times a day) LOL! I've been using the Rimmel Stay Matte in a tube and that thing will NOT move I mean I'm so impressed, considering it's only about $5.00 and I've used the Mac and the Make Up Forever and this cheap one will outlast them all, I highly recommend that for hot/sweaty/humid days.
Gabupentin aka Neuronton is a non-opiod nerve pain med that has an amazing side effect of stopping hot flashes. More Doctors are prescribing it for that particular reason. I was already on it for nerve pain and never had a single hot flash. Watching others suffer through them has always made me both grateful and sad. Do a little research and ask your Dr for a prescription. It does little for my pain so I no longer take it but you better believe i took it till menopause was over. Good luck.

I’m excited for this foundation bc I LOVE the concealer. I use it as an eyeshadow primer, under my eyes, blemishes and basically love it on its own without foundation.

Hi Emily, try using a powder puff under the eye to set your concealer instead of a brush if you are having trouble with that area. Maybe that powder isn't the best for setting the concealer. Great wear test! 💜

I just got my abh jackie Ana pallet and discovers my ccolour dusk to dawn pallet is an exact dupe!! I only paid around 10 dollars for my ccolour and the formula is really good!!

I have super watery eyes and my mascara was always transferring to my lower lash line until I bought the Snapscara washable mascara by Maybelline... I went through so many high end and drugstore brands until I finally found that one. It holds up very nicely to the smudge proof claim.
Re: Random thought... I LOVE Mary’s Gone Crackers! I’ve more than once eaten a whole box. 😶😆🤤 It doesn’t hurt that the name cracks me up every time I read the box. I think that there would be a possibility of less coverage due to the foundation needing to be somewhat thinner to get through a nozzle or to go through a squeeze tube. More water is added to moisturizer that pumps out vs scoop out with hands.

@@Daniela83 I use the Hard Candy 12 hour matte setting spray, but I transfer it into a different spray bottle bc the mister on that is horrible.
My make up for ever matte velvet foundation comes in a squeezy tube and I love that! so much easier to work with

Oh I sooooo get that weird under eye smudge! I get that too even when I put nothing there! I’m really needing some good drugstore mascara suggestions.

My favorite is double wear mixed with Lancôme teinte a dol whatever it’s called lol. Those two together last all day and look so beautiful.

I've had that concealer for 2 years and used it maybe 4 times because throughout the day it creases on me so bad no matter how I set it. 🤷♀️

I just got my abh jackie Ana pallet and discovers my ccolour dusk to dawn pallet is an exact dupe!! I only paid around 10 dollars for my ccolour and the formula is really good!!
Could you review too faced new matte foundation and identify which one you prefer? It appears as tho too faced is phasing our the peach perfect matte foundation and I neeeed a new one!

Em, would you recommend this for a 10-12 hour nursing shift with a mask? Or would you recommend something else? I’ve been really searching, testing, etc. I’ve got soooo many foundations it crazy lol . Thank you! The girls are so adorable in their little dresses ❤️

I have super watery eyes and my mascara was always transferring to my lower lash line until I bought the Snapscara washable mascara by Maybelline... I went through so many high end and drugstore brands until I finally found that one. It holds up very nicely to the smudge proof claim.

I love the soft matte concealer, one of my faves! As for crackers without anything? Wheat thins and club crackers all the way!

All the flavors are great, but my favorites are the black pepper, the jalapeño, and the herb ones.

I think that there would be a possibility of less coverage due to the foundation needing to be somewhat thinner to get through a nozzle or to go through a squeeze tube. More water is added to moisturizer that pumps out vs scoop out with hands.
I have to try that foundation and concealer. It looks beautiful!
