So this might sound weird but I like the cover girl smell mostly because that was all my mom used and it reminds me of her. She’s no longer with us but whenever I smell that smell now, I’m instantly transported back to childhood watching my mom apply her make up. And I wouldn’t change that sensory association. ❤️
Your comment made me smile. It’s amazing how a smell or a song can remind us so much of someone or a memory! It’s kinda weird and not quite the same as your memory, but The smell of scotch tape reminds me of Christmas. We were poor growing up and never had tape in the house except at Christmas. Mom would buy a couple rolls of scotch tape to wrap the couple gifts we got, it probably seems so weird, but I can’t use tape without immediately thinking of Christmas.
Oh my gosh!! When you pulled out that stick conceal I had a PTSD moment. I remember being in middle school and desperate to cover my acne (it’s was the early stages 😳 but I didn’t know what to do) I got this concealer and drew it ALL OVER MY FACE. Caked this mug up then covered it with that cream the powder compact... you know the one. And went to school like a happy little oompa lumpa.
Lol, the shade selection wasn't So hot back then...I started like 1984 ish... toy had light, medium and dark orange. Orange though??? Why? Anyone remember QT? Quick tan ? It wad thr only self tanner and there seemed to be no way to avoid streaks of giant orange...ahahaha... lord, we were some serious goofs. That's what's wrong with kids today.... they don't have that awkward ugly phase anymore.
My two cousins used Noxema every night to cleanse their faces and both of them have gorgeous peaches and cream skin. They still use to this day. One cousin is 72 and the other is 69.
My theory is that so many people were buying it to use as a brow gel that maybelline was able to call it a best seller, and then people had to go out and buy it to see what the hype was about, keeping it as a best seller 😂
A few months back I tried an experiment. I did my makeup in the style that I did before I started watching YT tutorials. I left off the primer, bronzer, contour and highlight. I applied foundation, a bit of concealer, some powder and blush. When I did my eyes I kept it very simple then just applied lipstick. I was happy with my look, and with the way that it lasted throughout the day. My face looked fresher and not overly done.
I just washed my face with noxzema. I have used it for over 35 years. It’s the only thing that doesn’t leave my face feeling tight and dry afterwards. I have upgraded to the cream in a pump, no more digging out of the big jar. I don’t know what I’d do if it was discontinued 😭
This smell brings me instantly back to the 7th grade when I had bad acne for the first time. I cried and didn’t want to go to school so my mom got this out of her vanity cabinet and put it on me. It helped my confidence so much. And I continued to use it on and off through highs school. I’m taking a trip to my local Walgreens tmro to look for this again. Thanks for the memory Emily!
We used to buy those red pencils in black. I remember melting them with a Bic lighter in my high school bathroom and lining my water line with it...oh man...memories!! 🤣😁
Oh my gosh yes. I’d be upset if I saw a lighter in my daughters makeup bag I’d assume she’s smoking. These girls don’t have that problem with their products.
Emily, thank you so much for this video! After watching, I realized how comforting nostalgia is. Even if it comes in the form of makeup! I’ll be 40 next year, and the noxema smell of a fresh, brand new, Covergirl pressed powder compact brings me back. In a world full of craziness nowadays, find comfort in the little things. I don’t know if that ramble makes sense, but just, thank you for being you, Em🥰
Emily is the soothing, encouraging hero we need during this pandemic. What did we do to deserve her? Also, if you’re not smearing that CG Clean foundation on your face with a white triangle sponge, you’re not really getting that real high school experience. 🤣
Back in the day, I grew up in the 60s, there wasn’t much to choose from. Creamy Natural foundation, great lash mascara, frosted pink lipstick, we did’t know any better🤣 Thanks Emily for bringing back some memories🥰
The coverage you got from that concealer was mind-blowingly great! For $5!??? Yes please!! It's amazing how we as people/consumers can write off products based on the format or packaging that seems outdated when I think we may be missing out on some quality stuff. I'm guilty of doing that as well! Thanks for the wonderful video 💕
Some of these older products are hidden gems. Covergirl's Smoothers foundation for example is AMAZING. It wears so nicely and is a lighter feel. Makes me sad to see some of them are being replaced on the shelves when they are so good!
I used many of these drugstore makeup products in high school & college . I think everyone used these staples. Since then I've used lots of high end products but will be returning to drugstore brands. There are many great new drugstore makeup items I want to try. Thanks Emily you look really gorgeous this morning ♡
That was my first foundation....so yes....so orangey I could trump, Trump. I'm grateful for my sensitive skin letting me know I can wear foundation very much.
I just picked the lightest foundation most of the time and crossed my fingers that it would match. Or I would steal my mom's, and she and I had exactly the same skin tone and shade, so in that case, it's her fault if it didn't match.
I’ve been watching your channel since the start my freshman year in college (2009). I haven’t been watching as much lately- partially because since I’ve had my almost 6 month old (plus not leaving the house much) I’ve rarely been wearing makeup. However, I love that I can always start again and find the same great Emily :)
I’ve said it before, but I still love the CG Clean Makeup .. works perfectly with my skin texture with a sponge .. I hope they never change a thing about it!
I would love to see you do historical makeup looks for each decade of the 20th century, with products as close to the originals as you could get. That would be so much fun!
Hi Emily, love seeing your videos, thanks for taking the time on the morning of your daughter’s bday for making such a good video about those products we’ve all used up. Remembering those times back in the day makes me appreciate more what I have now. Loved how to talk about the sense of urgency, you’re so right
THAT CONCEALER! I’m around the same age as you Emily. My parents still live in my childhood home. I was rummaging through my old closet, found a cheerleading bag STILL PACKED! Pulled out a makeup bag and what did I find?!?! Yup! That concealer along with some cover girl single shadows. 🤣🤣🤣 My mom and I got a good laugh.
Wow, I remember that Noxema smell so well. That takes me back to high school and maybe part of college. My loose powder from back then was Coty Airspun.
I started wearing makeup at the age of 13, I'm 45 now. My first foundation and powder was shine free and of course cg blushes and lipsticks. I still love Maybeline full & soft mascara.
Aaahhh Noxema! I remember being maybe 8 or so and my best friends mom had her Noxema on her bureau. We used to “sneak it”. I will never forget that! And one year for Halloween my mum made me a Martian costume. She mixed green food coloring with Noxema to put on my face. It worked great!! I STILL use the Great Lash mascara in my rotation and still enjoy it too.
Covergirl clean and maybelline great lash were my very first foundation and mascara. Haven't used either in years. They were what my mom used so that's what I started with.
Love this!!!! Covergirl back in the day had like a 4 pan small palette and the first pan was an eyeshadow base. It said on the lid what each was used for. Lol of course sponge applicator included.
My theory is that people were drawn to the pink and green colors of the tube. It stood out from every other mascara on the market at the time. Somehow its reputation stood the test of time.
It's only saving grace was when they came out with that Electric Blue shade in the 80's. It actually showed up on my dark lashes, making me very happy. 😁 Those were the fun days! 💙👁️👁️💙💫
I just bought the Covergirl foundation because I happen to hear you say here it smells like Noxema and I love that smell. Best drugstore foundation ever. Thank you... 💖
That concealer stick is giving me jr high locker room flashbacks 🤣 . And I’m convinced my mom solely keeps Great Lash on shelves! But in her words, she loves it because it “gives your lashes a black tint and nothing else” which is what she wants
Covergirl....please keep the blush trios! They are a very "classic" part of the line that has the wisdom to it.❤ Beautiful product that I still purchase.🤗
I've been wearing Great Lash since high school. I have very fine, sparse lashes and it doesn't clump. I also wear glasses, so I can't wear a lengthening mascara. It doesn't flake or smudge. When you wear false lashes, you get used to the length and the thickness, so regular mascara must pale in comparison. I've never worn false lashes, ever, so Great Lash coverage is just fine. When I want a little more drama, I'll go to Essence.
The Maybelline mascara you used is actually one of my favorites 🥰. It just works well with my lashes. I may need to look at the covergirl foundation again. I used to use it years ago but haven't even looked at it in forever. Thanks Emily for the video and memories 😁
I'm living for the nostalgia today! CoverGirl Aquasmooth Foundations were all the rage when I was in school - always waaaay too pink, too white, or too tan, so all of us looked like a full gaggle of fantasy creatures from ashy ghosts to Oompa Loompa pumpkins. lol
My brain about exploded when you popped that right magnetic lash on in one go. I was going to ask what sorcery you use, but then we got to lash number two and I realized that you're human after all.... 🧙♀️🧙♀️🧙♀️🧙♀️
I love you Emily! You are my favorite youtuber. I've been watching you for about 10 years now. Your vibe relaxes me so much, and my taste is very similar to yours. Just bought the new nars foundation because of your review and omgosh!!! 🥰 Also those kroger fragrance free makeup wipes 😳 they are bombbbb and so cheap!
Also the great lash mascara I totally agree with your opinion on that 😆 I have speculated and I think, regular people who don't hoard makeup such as myself 🤓tend to use the same things over and over. So maybe there are just many people that don't know how far mascara has come since the old days and they buy it out of habit. Plus I will say I do feel slight warm fuzzies when I see that pink and green tube and 1980s looking font 🤣 Was always my mom's go to.. lol. For me it makes me look like I have 5 eyelashes that are about 1 inch thick each 😊 not cute.. 😅 also it makes my eyelids swell and itch. Back in 2002 when I first really got into mascara I used something called sky high curves by maybelline. Full N Soft I think was the more popular one but I remember loving sky high curves. Wonder what I would feel if I used it today? 🤔 sometimes I'm tempted to buy a discontinued sealed product on ebay because I wanna see how much my preferences and needs have changed 🤣 but then I'm like uhh that's probably not sanitary LOL but if its sealed? 🙃 idkkk? Now I use hourglass caution extreme. Oh and have you used the covergirl classic color blushes in the black compact lately? I bought one the other day in iced plum and was surprised to be greeted by the noxzema smell! 🥰 the cheekers don't have it anymore. so much nostalgia... haha
Can you do tips on applying cream/liquid face products and what’s better for applying as far as a sponge vs brush. And how to apply and blend cream products over powder/foundation etc without it moving.
I absolutely love the Covergirl Clean foundation and have been wishing it would get more attention, especially with lightweight, more natural foundations being in. It’s what I grab when I want a little more coverage than I can get from my Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer.
Super fun video. Cover Girl was my first make up back in the early 80s. Blue eyeliner and probably that same shimmer pink lipstick! I soooo remember the smell.
Oh for sure!! I was a competitive baton twirler for 15 years and as a little girl, my mother always used Covergirl's blush and that smell will always be linked to my childhood. 💜
One thing I’ve ALWAYS loved about CoverGirl foundations is it’s thee only brand that offers a SUPER cool/Pink undertone. There isn’t another brand that has THIS PERFECT of a shade match for me. Even when I have a dark tan, I can still get that super cool undertone & CG foundation is a favorite brand bcz of this - but in the TruBlend Line (I used to love the Vitalist line too) .
Shar Roon - I haven’t used that in years, I’d actually like to go back and try it again, see what I think of it today. The reason I like the TruBlend line is bcz they actually offer warm, neutral and cool shades which are shown by a color coded system right on the shelf which houses the products in the store. I think the the CG Smoothers line is much like the Clean Makeup line & offers neutral shades, but in my opinion, their neutral shades do run a bit cooler in tone than other brands. CG Vitalist line was d/c’d only 2 yrs after it launched, that was a very short lived fave. But another reason why I like CG is bcz there’s no spf in the foundation making it so much easier to comply with sensitive skin.
When you said combined birthday I smiled! My younger sister and I are 13 months minus a day apart. We had a lot of combined birthday parties! It was awesome!
These are my favorite kind of videos! Well actually anything you make is my favorite lol. I hear ya on the nice fall days and wishing for rain. I live in Oregon and with these fires, we could do with as much rain as possible right now! Wishing you and your sweet family the best xoxo
I'm 58 and I've been using Cover Girl clean since I was 13! Yep, it's the foundation I always go back to, even though still like to try out other brands. I like the scent!
I'm in Manchester, UK and our weather have definelty turned into autumn 🍂 over the last week or so. It's been cold here for a few days now, but the sun does still shine. Think we're on highs of 15 degrees c now.
I live in Ireland and I LOVE autumn here! It's a mix between clear crisp days with a bit of a cold nip in the air and the crunch of leaves underfoot. Then there's the rainy days like today where you just have to get cosy with a book by the fire!
I love this video idea! 💕 So many products hold such a place in my heart 💕 Great Lash was an iconic mascara! I remember my mom giving me my first tube back in the 90’s and I always referred to it as the watermelon mascara 😂 Happy birthday lovely Belle! 💕 Edit: My favourite Maybelline quad from that time was Chai Latte! I still love it to this day!
The Maybelline Great Lash was the first one my mom bought me as well, but I got the clear one. My mom always told me I had beautiful lashes and she was convinced that colored mascara would cause my lashes to fall out, but the clear wouldn't. To this day, I've never had a mascara cause as much lash loss as that clear stuff. Also, it would peel and I looked like I had dried hot glue in my lashes. 🤦🏼♀️
I’ve tried several high end foundations. But my Covergirl true blend is hands down is the best for me. And the Covergirl clean professional loose powder I just love.
You’re gorgeous Emily (in looks and personality) thank you for this look. I’m 64 next week I remember on my 16th birthday begging my mum for my first foundation which was Revlon Touch and Glow it also had a very distinct scent. Today is my granddaughter’s 16th and we watched this video together! It was lovely!!
I’ve used that darkest cool brown from the Maybeline palette for years as eyeliner...just wet it a bit, apply with an angle brush, let dry, smudge a bit, and yessssss!!!!
*Emily, I've heard they've changed the formula of Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer and I'm very sad about it. I still have 2 I bought awhile back. If you happen to try it could you please update us??*
Why do theychange formulas of stuff that works???? Grrrr. I thunk they changed the L'oreal Lash Paradise as well. When it first came out I was loving it, was literally my holy grail! Last 3 tubes have been wonky.
I just bought the clean matte foundation. I used to use it and wanted to try it again. So far, I’m liking it! Cover girl smooth concealer is my go to and has been. I used to have that PF bronzer! Maybelline great lash BIG is my mascara, period. I try others and then i always go back to it. I have it in black and brown currently. This was a fun video, lots of throwbacks. 😊
I love how you look at/judge makeup with truly an unbiased eye. I definitely used that older stuff but now... it’s like I think “that old stuff isn’t good anymore!” 🙄 It’s awesome to take another look and really evaluate it like you do ❤️❤️
Great Lash Mascara will always have a place in my heart. My mom passed away when I was 8, and I have such amazing memories of sitting next to her while she did her makeup and used this in the early 90’s. The pink tube and green cap! I still keep that mascara in my rotation 💜
I always hated that mascara! I was a teen in the 80s and so lucky that my mom often bought Estée Lauder and Clinique; she’d get those deals where they’d throw in sample sizes... those sample mascaras saved me! ☺️
Hi Emily!! Loved this video idea! The Covergiel Continuous Lipstick is literally the best! I used to wear it in high school which was not even 10 years ago! I’m shocked at how long that’s been around! That’s one of the only lipsticks I’ve actually finished!!
My first eye primer was made my Clinique and came in a small Clinique green tube ala early 80s. It cost $14 in 1982 which was very expensive! It worked great!
I can smell the noxzema through the screen....ahhhhhh nostalgia. 😀
I still use it when I need a good deep clean
Beauty Luv same! I think Emily talked about using the Noxema pot as a mask, and I did the same. No complaints!
I bet its kinda comforting 🥰
Oh, yes. I remember the pressed powder used to smell the same
@@cyntheknitter9927 I bought the powder a few months ago at Target. Total memory lane!
So this might sound weird but I like the cover girl smell mostly because that was all my mom used and it reminds me of her. Mom would buy a couple rolls of scotch tape to wrap the couple gifts we got, it probably seems so weird, but I can’t use tape without immediately thinking of Christmas.
Yes!!!
I totally get it for me, it's my grandma and Coty Airspun loose powder.
This is proof that as much as we love the latest and greatest, we really don’t need any of it. You created a beautiful look with all the oldies.
Oh my gosh!! When you pulled out that stick conceal I had a PTSD moment. I remember being in middle school and desperate to cover my acne (it’s was the early stages 😳 but I didn’t know what to do) I got this concealer and drew it ALL OVER MY FACE. Lexi Kline 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just had some ptsd from your excellent description! 😂
I did the same exact thing! Went to school KNOWING I was hot stuff 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤣
Lol, the shade selection wasn't So hot back then...I started like 1984 ish... toy had light, medium and dark orange. Orange though??? Why? Anyone remember QT? Quick tan ? @theirishpug yeah that knowledge of undertones really changed you life.
@@amyjobernoski1024 Quick Tan smelled like a wet dog when you put it on
Totally willing to admit, right here on the internet, that I still love the smell of noxema
It will always remind me of my mom ❤️
Me too.,
Lol me too!
Yep, that "clean" Noxema menthol smell is unmistakable. 😉👍🏻
My two cousins used Noxema every night to cleanse their faces and both of them have gorgeous peaches and cream skin. They still use to this day. One cousin is 72 and the other is 69.
I want L’Oréal to bring back the HIP line! Especially the eyeshadow duos!
Same. So good.
Loved the duos and the pure pigment chubby sticks
Is that the line that had the lip glosses with two colors, one on each side, but they squeezed out together??
Yes they were way ahead of their time. Now we’ve all learned how to use them
OMG yesssss I made my best looks with those!
I absolutely agree with you Emily. I still don’t understand what people see in that mascara. 🤷♀️Love these types of videos you do 😊
Fernanda 1972 Nope. Lovin the Great Lash.........since high school.
Me either, I was never a fan of it.
My theory is that so many people were buying it to use as a brow gel that maybelline was able to call it a best seller, and then people had to go out and buy it to see what the hype was about, keeping it as a best seller 😂
I feel like all mascaras these days are more wet. Maybe that is why great lash seems less wet than it used to? 🤷♀️
My mom was so happy today. She got a 2 pack at biglots for 5$ she was beyond happy.
I love it when you do the throwback makeup videos! The old school makeup are staples for a reason, so so good.
We used to buy those red pencils in black. I remember melting them with a Bic lighter in my high school bathroom and lining my water line with it...oh man...memories!! 🤣😁
I had forgotten about the lighter truck! It really worked
Was it really the 80s if you didn't risk burning your water line with the melted eye pencil? 😄
I remember my mom’s cake mascara with the little tiny whisk broomy brush!
@@caroline-s 🤣🤣

You know what I think about when I hear “throwback” MARY KAY makeup 🙌🏽
Carisa Christian and Merle Norman!
Julia Jackson oh my goodness! Yes! We had one in our mall! #damnimold

Dori Grinie same!
Yes!

omg the white triangles!! aaaaaaaah ahahhaah
Back in the day, I grew up in the 60s, there wasn’t much to choose from. Creamy Natural foundation, great lash mascara, frosted pink lipstick, we did’t know any better🤣 Thanks Emily for bringing back some memories🥰

What I love about your videos is that you always have very original ideas using normal products ☺️
Did anyone else wear the absolutely wrong shade of CG Clean foundation in high school?🤣
I think I was in the wrong shade more than I was in the right shade of anything in high school :D
That was my first foundation....so yes....so orangey I could trump, Trump. I'm grateful for my sensitive skin letting me know I can wear foundation very much.

Remembering those times back in the day makes me appreciate more what I have now. Loved how to talk about the sense of urgency, you’re so right

I think the eye shadow look is really pretty!
Im 60 still wearing CG foundation in ivory! CG LIPSTICK IN VINTAGE WINE!
I always love the color Brandyberry. If I could find it, I'd buy and use it. I still wear Covergirl bronzed peach occasionally
Aaahhh Noxema! I remember being maybe 8 or so and my best friends mom had her Noxema on her bureau. We used to “sneak it”. I will never forget that! My maiden started with a “G” so I felt obligated to always wear CoverGirl when I was young. Love the throwback
The day I traded Great Lash for Max Factor 2000 Calorie was an important one!
Covergirl clean and maybelline great lash were my very first foundation and mascara. Haven't used either in years. They were what my mom used so that's what I started with.
Emily I love your videos, look forward to them every few days 😊. Would you do a video on one and two shadow looks? For more simple and quick ideas.
that POWDER! smoothed out your skin so much! you look so great and glowy!
Creamy Natural, I'm 55, still remember that shade from my high school days! Love your videos🥰🥰🥰
I think we all wore creamy natural because there wasn’t much of a choice! However, whenI buy CG now it’s usually my shade.
I’m sure there are plenty of people buying and using this makeup, they just don’t watch RUclips. 🤣
right! RUclipsrs have pretty much left this stuff in the dust but others in the world must be buying it! :D
Emily Noel Yes, because they are not addicted to buying new products like us RUclips followers!😹
Exactly!!!!! 🤣
I knew a 93 year old woman who used covergirl liquid foundation. She didn't watch you tube. Her skin was pretty.
Love this!!!! Covergirl back in the day had like a 4 pan small palette and the first pan was an eyeshadow base. It said on the lid what each was used for. Lol of course sponge applicator included.
I have never understood the appeal of Great Lash. Glad I am not alone!
My Mom uses it to this very day - I cannot get her to budge and I promise there are soooo many better options!
My theory is that people were drawn to the pink and green colors of the tube. It stood out from every other mascara on the market at the time. Somehow its reputation stood the test of time.
I swear it looked great on me when I was in high school, but I have since tried it as an adult and it barely does anything! 😆
It's only saving grace was when they came out with that Electric Blue shade in the 80's. It actually showed up on my dark lashes, making me very happy. 😁 Those were the fun days! 💙👁️👁️💙💫
The cover stick! I forgot about those.
Was a big fan of the great lash in royal blue cant find it anymore...i loved it

I just bought the Covergirl foundation because I happen to hear you say here it smells like Noxema and I love that smell. Best drugstore foundation ever. Thank you... 💖
My moms shade is Creamy Natural, Emily's complexion reminds me of my moms, the foundation has a very distinct scent.
That was my 80's makeup bag! Love this trip down memory lane- thanks for always making my day! 😁 ❤

Happy Birthday Belle!!!
I went and bought some of the iconic drugstore products...can't wait to try them again! CoverGirl was an old pal from my teens lol
CoverGirl Aquasmooth Foundations were all the rage when I was in school - always waaaay too pink, too white, or too tan, so all of us looked like a full gaggle of fantasy creatures from ashy ghosts to Oompa Loompa pumpkins. lol
I definitely remember using that!! :D
We also thought they were single use like the dream matte mousse lol
That was actually good
My go to foundation was Covergirl Continous Wear. Buff Beige in the summer, classic ivory in the winter.
My brain about exploded when you popped that right magnetic lash on in one go. I was going to ask what sorcery you use, but then we got to lash number two and I realized that you're human after all.... 🧙♀️🧙♀️🧙♀️🧙♀️

I really love your makeup look today Emily! Your smokey eye look is fabulous and that lipstick looks gorgeous! Xxx
I love you Emily! You are my favorite youtuber. I've been watching you for about 10 years now. Your vibe relaxes me so much, and my taste is very similar to yours. Just bought the new nars foundation because of your review and omgosh!!! 🥰 Also those kroger fragrance free makeup wipes 😳 they are bombbbb and so cheap!
yay!! so glad you discovered those! :D Thank you so much for watching!
Plus I will say I do feel slight warm fuzzies when I see that pink and green tube and 1980s looking font 🤣
Was always my mom's go to..
Sophisticated Sable is a staple in my collection. Every time I run out I always repurchase!
Hey Em...Happy Happy Birthday to your elder daughter. Sending her love and good wishes. I love seeing your kids on IG. They make my day.
aw thank you so much!!
I absolutely love the Covergirl Clean foundation and have been wishing it would get more attention, especially with lightweight, more natural foundations being in. It’s what I grab when I want a little more coverage than I can get from my Bare Minerals tinted moisturizer.
I bought the CG Instant Cheekbones after you recommended it...and I love them!
Yay! Gorgeous fall day here in Nashville PLUS video from my fave Emily equals happiness!!!
Super fun video. Cover Girl was my first make up back in the early 80s. Blue eyeliner and probably that same shimmer pink lipstick! I soooo remember the smell.
My mom definitely had that red brow pencil and so did my grandmother! My mom also used Merle Norman and the scent reminds me of my childhood
I actually enjoy that Covergirl Clean foundation! And the smell is so nostalgic to me 😍
Smells like their old cheekers blush. Memories.
I use the smoothers line in classic ivory it's really nothing special but it is a decent match
When I started using CG Clean makeup it didn’t last on my oily skin at all. It might work great now on my 52 year old face, lol!
When you said combined birthday I smiled! My younger sister and I are 13 months minus a day apart. We had a lot of combined birthday parties! It was awesome!
Irish twins. Or close
Covergirl clean was the foundation I wore for years in my teens/young adult. I graduated to it from the Covergirl cream compact foundation. Lol
These are my favorite kind of videos! Well actually anything you make is my favorite lol. I hear ya on the nice fall days and wishing for rain. I live in Oregon and with these fires, we could do with as much rain as possible right now! Wishing you and your sweet family the best xoxo
I love that you do these videos it brings back so many memories ..
I genuinely love that lipstick on you, you should wear it more often.
Still using and loving this foundation 💕
I live in Ireland and I LOVE autumn here! It's a mix between clear crisp days with a bit of a cold nip in the air and the crunch of leaves underfoot. Then there's the rainy days like today where you just have to get cosy with a book by the fire!
I love the Maybelline shine free powder. I've been using it for years, and like it more than most high end powders I've tried
I'm always impressed that you're willing to do tests like this on important days in your life! I wouldn't dare. But you look great as always!
I love this video idea! 💕 So many products hold such a place in my heart 💕 Great Lash was an iconic mascara! I remember my mom giving me my first tube back in the 90’s and I always referred to it as the watermelon mascara 😂 Happy birthday lovely Belle! 💕
Edit: My favourite Maybelline quad from that time was Chai Latte! I still love it to this day!
OH my Chi latte is the BEST QUAD. ❤❤❤
Jackie Noon I remember my moms used to use the clear one for her eyebrows and I thought it was the most ridiculous thing to have a clear mascara 😂
Really love these under rated or forgotten products videos!
Giiiiiiirl you took me wayyy back with this video and I loved it😁 I literally owned EVERY single thing you showed😆 your finished look was soo 90's👍😁😀
Happy birthday Belle! You are so lovely inside and out.
I'm 66. My first foundation was Angel Face liquid. My mother chose it for me. She hated powders and never used them.
Happy Birthday Belle! Have a great day!
I’ve used that darkest cool brown from the Maybeline palette for years as eyeliner...just wet it a bit, apply with an angle brush, let dry, smudge a bit, and yessssss!!!!
I just bought a Covergirl lash blast clump crusher
Video idea!!!! Do a video using makeup you used the first year of your your tube channel and drop in clips from the first year!!
Day's going great NOW! GOOD TO SEE YOU❤️
good to see you! :D
This really brings back memories. Cover Girl foundation was my mainstay for many years. I still smell the Nozema scent.
Hi Emily!! Loved this video idea! The Covergiel Continuous Lipstick is literally the best! I used to wear it in high school which was not even 10 years ago! I’m shocked at how long that’s been around! That’s one of the only lipsticks I’ve actually finished!!
Your videos always make me want to apply blush!!! 😍😍
In 2006 when I took my makeup course I started using concealer as eye primer. Thank God eye primers are around now!
My first eye primer was made my Clinique and came in a small Clinique green tube ala early 80s. It cost $14 in 1982 which was very expensive! It worked great!
