Agreed, I hardly ever buy makeup anymore but I still watch her videos (including this one) because I like her. I think it's selfish of people to be mad about sponsored content when it's literally how RUclipsrs make their money.... I don't work for free either 🤷♀️ I get some RUclipsrs aren't legit about the sponsorships they take and it's not genuine, that's why I watch videos from people I trust
It's not even worth complaining about! It takes MINIMAL effort to fast forward the sponsorship parts if you don't feel like listening to it. Some people just live to complain.
Love your videos. I no longer buy from sephora, I just wait for sales from the companies I'm interested in. Often, they'll run 20-30% off on their own sites. Way better than 10% or 15% at sephora.

Shipping costs are outrageous and sephora takes a minimum of 50% profit, as well as charging the beauty brand additional fees for being part of sales (which they HAVE to agree to in order to be in Sephora). There is a reason a lot of the top brands ended up shutting down in the past few years.

Personally toner is the best step of skincare. If I’m only doing one thing, it’s toner, but usually my quick/lazy routine is toner and vitamin C. Also highly recommend putting toner in a spray bottle and using it throughout the day (on no makeup days) it’s amazing

I almost always buy the minis. I don’t wear makeup every day (maybe 2-3 days per week). I use makeup products very sparingly on my 55 year old face and I find the minis last me a very long time.
Same. The mini mascaras are great. Since mascara should be tossed every 3 to 4 months, it's no more expensive than some drugstore ones. Plus the formula seems better in the minis than the full size.
I've tried both of the new glossier you perfumes and although I liked the Doux one, I find that Reve is more similar to the original You. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would so I recommend you try that one as well. It might surprise you ;)

I am glad you are getting recognized by a big company. I just really hate Sephora, been shopping there since I was 20 and I’m almost 43. Feels like the last ten years has been a toxic relationship. They’ve gotten rid of almost every incentive to be Rouge…I’m letting mine lapse. They just seem so incredibly greedy…especially now that if you want to order a bazaar reward item you have to spend a minimum of $25…AND when I went in for an expensive makeover, I thought I’d get to pick out the products I wanted to try to see how they performed so I could buy them, but they didn’t have ANY of the products in their kit. It was such an expensive let down. I just pray one day that Ulta gets all the brands I like at Sephora, there’s only a handful that Ulta doesn’t have anymore.

Is varnishing over the painted woodwork like using a different finish paint? In America paints come in various finishes (I.e. Matte, Flat, Satin, Glossy) so you can get the same color in two finishes. I’ve always thought varnish of paints could go yellow toned after a while and would making painting over difficult. Is this not the same kind of varnish?

Tip for making your perfume last longer: mix it with unscented lotion and then layer a little perfume over the lotion. Lasts all day for me!

You mentioned a lot of your brow pencils have dried up. The Sephora Brand brow pencil is nice and this would be a good time to try if interested.

I get what you’re saying but unless you’re a RUclipsr (or have a friend doing it (like I do)) you can’t really know how stressful it is to do as a job. Having sponsored content is a way to ***get paid*** for the countless hours, sleep lost, never leaving work at the office bs that comes with it.

Omg! I've placed 3 orders today. I have the Patrick Ta foundation, it looks lovely at first but it gets glowy/dewy so its best not to have too much skincare because it will slip off. I recommend wearing it for a short time. Can't wait to see your haul.
