My left stays but my right side drops in 5 seconds 😂. Maybe it has something with how somone parts their hair (side part being more heavy on the one side) or which hand you use (left or right handed) it being harder to reach the left side with your right hand.... 🤔

I’m assuming that someone already commented this but skincare and makeup tends to pill up when you don’t let it sink into your skin enough. You should allow your moisturizer, sunscreen and primer to sink into your skin for a few minutes at least. Idk the actual time frame but that’s usually why things pill, when you do steps fast. Which sucks because that’s me 8/10 times lol. Also, my makeup does weird things around my mouth when I move too quickly with steps too. Or when I’m sweating around my mouth. The struggle 🥺

@@intothemystic5223 yeah, a lot of products can do this if they don’t mix well together so the best way to avoid it is waiting til it’s fully absorbed into the skin so they don’t have the chance to mix together on your face and pill! So the same if you put a moisturizer on too soon after your serum, ya know?
It think it also depends how you layer different types of products like if you have a silicone, gel, oil or water based product it may not blend well depending what it’s being put on top of? x

I think there are influencers you can trust to only work with brands they love and trust when they have sponsored content but you will always get those money hungry influencers who don't care about you and just about the money . But you need to figure out who you can and can't trust when it comes to spending your money
Shein is incredibly unethical. I wouldn’t recommend buying from them anyway, I know this wasn’t ur question I thought I should just mention it incase it influenced whether someone was going to buy it. Have a good day!!

Had those issues e.g. with the Translucent Loose Setting Powder by Laura Mercier. In contrast i never had problems with the Chanel Universelle Libre loose powder, even when I used the same concealer and Mascara like before. 🤷🏻♀️

Hi Soph, the bag is from a dropshipper that uses your shipping information to directly order from Aliexpress. Dropshippers often ask 2 to 3 times as much for the products you ordered on their website as the actual price on Aliexpress. I noticed that a lot of instagram ads feature products I have seen listed on Aliexpress for 5x the price! I often do a reverse image search on Aliexpress and check if the product I am interested in is also listed on there (9 out of 10 times it is!). You can tell if a company is dropshipping or not when they have two to three weeks of shipping time from China, while a normal company would have their own stock in the UK or Europe. Just wanted to share this info, since someone already mentioned that the razors you bought are from Aliexpress (making them far from sustainable in the long run, unfortunately!).

I just wanted to drop in and tell you that (in case you didn't already know) the sunscreen has a white cast because it is a mineral sunscreen so it is likely made out of zinc oxide or similar ingredients which, other than chemical sunscreen don't sink in to the skin as well and rather sit on top of it. Hey, you mentioned that you use the body shop spf and that you’ve also been suffering with some eczema. Just thought I’d let you know that I had the same experience ( especially around my eye area) and it got progressively worse but I just couldn’t figure out what was causing it as I’d never suffered from eczema before! To cut a long story short I eventually figured out that it was the body shop spf that was creating the irritation, but because inflammation of the skin can be delayed it took me years to figure it out. I’ve now not had an eczema breakout since I stopped using the spf. It might be different in your case but just thought I’d let you know xx

I've had the same issue with mascara transferring. So frustrating when you've spent time getting the under eye area to look good! I started using NYX Control Freak eyebrow gel to coat whatever mascara I use. It does a great job of keeping the mascara where it's supposed to be!!

For the hair issue I have the same and mentioned it to my hairdresser in conversation and he explained its due to dominant hands and you twist differently depending on tbe side you're curling 😁 also love this video idea, would love to see more!!
Yes! The mascara transfers to my browbones as well, I thought everyone had this problem and I was so frustrated. Let me know if there are any non waterproof ones that don't transfer like that, I've been looking for years!

I’m a makeup artist and the same thing happens to me with mascara. Try a tubing mascara.. it doesn’t transfer which is a godsend!!! Kevyn Aucoin Volume mascara is great, definitely give that a go to stop the transferring. All you need to do is remove it with warm water and it peels off in tubes xx

Can I just say the REN toner is pretty much exactly the same as the ordinary glycolic acid toner and it’s a third of the price, so if anyone’s thinking of buying, I would recommend that one first and if that one works for you then I would go for the more pricey one x
SOPH! You need to let each step of your skincare sink in before applying the next product. Otherwise the product will just continue to build up and it will be impossible to put makeup over it!
How do you cover your blemishes so well! Recently I've had horrible under the skin hidden spots and they have scared and I just can't seem to stop them showing through under my foundation!!!
I’m using the SPF and I absolutely love it, when you put it on it doesn’t feel mattifying at all but It does keep the oils at bay during the day like no other and that’s the issue I usually have with other SPFs (I look like an oil slim at the end of the day even though I’m not even overly oily). To me it also not ball up when putting something on top, however I usually only spot conceal and haven’t tested it with foundation on top.

It will do this if you use too much product as well. Also some ingredients clash with each other and it causes it to pill.

Use an eyelash primer before applying mascara it stops it transferring. I use the essence eyelash primer, its cheap and works

For the hair issue I have the same and mentioned it to my hairdresser in conversation and he explained its due to dominant hands and you twist differently depending on tbe side you're curling 😁 also love this video idea, would love to see more!!

Yes! The mascara transfers to my browbones as well, I thought everyone had this problem and I was so frustrated. Let me know if there are any non waterproof ones that don't transfer like that, I've been looking for years!
I used to have the same issues and generally like the covergirl exhibitionist! It might also be good to look into tubing mascara because they dont transfer

I have the same with almost all mascaras. The thing that works for me is using tubing mascaras. They only come off with warm water so can withstand oily skin, rain, tears you name it😃 my ultime favourites are the Clinique lash power, Estee Lauder Double wear zero smudge and the Kevyn aucoin the volume mascara.

I thought it was just me who has the mascara transfer issue with all mascaras. I try mascara people rave about and it always transfers under my eyes.

Spots on one side of your face more than the other can be from your pillow or phone.
I’m a makeup artist and the same thing happens to me with mascara. Try a tubing mascara.. it doesn’t transfer which is a godsend!!!
Kevyn Aucoin Volume mascara is great, definitely give that a go to stop the transferring. All you need to do is remove it with warm water and it peels off in tubes xx

It actually is your phone that is listening to what you say or listen to. I saw a video about this a year ago and turned off my ‘hey Siri’ function. Never had the problem again. Hope this helps if it’s bodering you!

Bad Girl Bang transfers on me too. I find I can only use fully waterproof mascaras. My skin is oily.

Can I just say the REN toner is pretty much exactly the same as the ordinary glycolic acid toner and it’s a third of the price, so if anyone’s thinking of buying, I would recommend that one first and if that one works for you then I would go for the more pricey one x
SOPH! You need to let each step of your skincare sink in before applying the next product. Otherwise the product will just continue to build up and it will be impossible to put makeup over it!
How do you cover your blemishes so well! Recently I've had horrible under the skin hidden spots and they have scared and I just can't seem to stop them showing through under my foundation!!!
I’m using the SPF and I absolutely love it, when you put it on it doesn’t feel mattifying at all but It does keep the oils at bay during the day like no other and that’s the issue I usually have with other SPFs (I look like an oil slim at the end of the day even though I’m not even overly oily). To me it also not ball up when putting something on top, however I usually only spot conceal and haven’t tested it with foundation on top.

I have the same problem with mascaras, doesn’t matter how expensive the product is. I fixed it by switching to waterproof mascaras 😌
