Quick tip for anyone who menstruates (cos i was reminded when soph mentioned paracetamol) there are painkillers specifically made for periods that are brilliant! They're a type of drug called anti-prostaglandins which directly target the prostaglandin chemical (they're similar to hormones) which directly causes the cramping. They're most well known under the brand names ponstan and naprogesic but generic brands call it period pain tablets with the active ingredient being naproxen. It is a type of anti inflammatory drug (like ibuprofen) so if you have had issues with those in the past or are wary of trying them have a chat to your doctor! They really are the only thing I've found that help
@@twistedbambi2370 because of the bacteria on your skin, it’ll transfer to the dropper then into the product when you put it back into the bottle and grow inside the product meaning you’ll just be applying bacteria to your face everyday, also it makes the product go ‘off’ much quicker

Hey girl, idk if you have tried it but nsaids such as ibuprofen or naproxen generally work better for period pains because they have an effect on prostaglandins. (But with all meds, also over the counter ones, consult your GP first) goodluck with your period pains. They are the worst!
Hi Soph, So I work for a company who's working on a powerful CBD product. As I understand it, the idea behind CBD is that while it can help to relieve pain or anxiety, it's extremely subjective to individuals and even then it's important to get the dosage right. The same barely-there presence of CBD on a product won't work for everyone and CBD has the most effect when you've had time to try it a few times beforehand. The bioavailability of CBD (ie: how much of it there is and how fast it can be absorbed into your body) massively impacts the way it affects you as well. Ideally, CBD should be absorbed directly into the bloodstream instead of via the digestive system. So, where tampons are concerned, the fact they're introducing CBD flush against the vaginal membranes suggests high bioavailability, but the method of application (soaked cotton) and dosage are probably nowhere near suitable for your endocannabinoid system to use it to great effect.
Just wanted to say you are fabulous. I love watching your videos. Also, just thought I'd share, maybe they can help you. I also experience crazy horrible period cramps, and I use the Thermacare Advanced heating pads. They go on right under your clothing and you dont notice you have one on. And they last for I believe up to 8 hours. Hope that helps.
Soph! I swear we are so in sync! I got eczema on my eye the same time as you and now my wisdom tooth on the bottom right is also breaking through my gum! I feel your pain! Anyway, love your videos 💜
Hey, i hope this doesnt sound intrusive but when talking about your period cramps I noticed they sound like they're worse than most people's and that's how I found out I have endometriosis. Generally there isnt enough information for women about how bad your period cramps should be before you should be concerned and a lot of people have abnormal pain without realising. Perhaps talking to your doctor could be an idea since if you have endo there are treatment options that really help the pain. You probably don't have it though and I was just putting that out there for information's sake as me finding out i have endometriosis and getting it treated has been positively life-changing. x
Great video Soph, if you have bad cramps try Feminax they work for me so worth a try. Also have you tried Il Makiage always coming up on my Instagram xx
Hey Soph, since you mentioned that regular painkillers aren't helping as much as you'd expect it to with your cramps, I'd suggest (if you haven't already) that you look into endometriosis. You might need to consult your ob-gyn for an expert, but I highly recommend it as someone who struggled with abnormally bad period cramps for years. Much love.
I just commented something similar! I've left comments about it before on other videos and she's said she thinks she may have it but is too nervous to have the surgery 😞
Nurse here and want to throw in that it’s a very good idea to take a good quality magnesium and calcium supplement every day or every other day while on your period AND take a good quality iron supplement. They must not be taken together, though, because calcium binds up iron so you won’t absorb it. So they need to be 4-6 hours apart at a minimum A lack of these nutrients can MASSIVELY affect your physical comfort! It doesn’t hurt to give it a go! And don’t wait to see the doctor! Get an ultrasound to see if you do have an issue! In the meantime, while waiting for appointments or between appointments etc, up your vitamin/mineral game and also try exercise the first days of your period. (Literally nobody wants to follow that tip but it works!!!) it helps sort of move things along 😂 and reduces the cramping of your body trying to move things along by itself. Just a few tips to try to help!! ❤️
I was going to suggest this. I suffer with bad cramps and went on the pill that stops your period because of them, but mine only stopped me going about my regular activities for like one day (they were also heavy and irregular so the pill was a good solution) so the nurse said I didn’t have endo. My best friend does have it and is bed ridden for 2-3 days in awful pain. I remember soph saying she was on the pill but they changed it and she had side effects I think, but what I’d say to that is maybe try others as I had to try three different pills before I found a good one for me. She sounds like she’s in a lot of pain. Also soph if you read this, my friend has been diagnosed without the surgery as she had so many of the symptoms, and she’s managing it through using the pill and a TENS machine I think. So if you’re worried about surgery, it isn’t always necessary. Or you could just have a horrible uterus like me that hates you for 1-2 days per cycle 😂
@@jess_blxck yeah some people just have a lot of symptoms and therefore go with a diagnosis. But excision surgery is the best treatment for it. I'm about to have my second and I'm bed ridden too. Also please don't listen to that nurse...everyone has different symptoms and can still have Endo!
@@laurengallagher2076 oh yeah definitely the best way to treat it. My friend only got diagnosed this year so she’s not had any yet. I don’t think I do, I brought it up to this nurse about if I maybe had mild endo and she said it doesn’t sound like it, just sounds like really horrible periods! But even if I do then I’ve found a pill that stops my period completely and it’s working for me right now, so I’m happy. I wish you all the best with your treatment!!
I think the serum looks so nice, I think people think wrongly that makeup is to cover everything but I think it evens your skin out and gives you a bit of a glow which looks so nice!!!
Soph if you ever want to reduce acne scars, I had really bad acne scars for a long time and my dermatologist suggested a topical retinoid cream. But even if I do then I’ve found a pill that stops my period completely and it’s working for me right now, so I’m happy. I wish you all the best with your treatment!!
Green gummy bear.. Lol such a cute expression on your face.
Noooo way it was uploaded 40 seconds ago!! Wow i m impressed!
I think the serum looks so nice, I think people think wrongly that makeup is to cover everything but I think it evens your skin out and gives you a bit of a glow which looks so nice!!!
Yes it’s a French brands, it’s like The Ordinary.

I was doing my homework and was like click
Soph if you ever want to reduce acne scars, I had really bad acne scars for a long time and my dermatologist suggested a topical retinoid cream. It left my skin a little dry but I have no scarring now on my face and I'm so happy about it :) just figured I'd pass on the tip if you were interested ever
Don’t lie we all came for the title 😬😂ILYSM soph!!

Can you review the I heart revolution marble rose gold chocolate palette? I want but I’m not sure :)
I’m subscribed but the only video I’ve watched was with ur collar w Talia. And I just realised since then ur subscribers haven’t gone up or am I trippin
Omg I’ve tried the CBD tampons, I’ve got a subscription with DAYE and they’re honestly amazing! All environmentally friendly too
I brought the lipstick after seeing ads all the time and thinking cc must no her stuff with how many lipsticks she has tried and videos she’s done but I was so disappointed, colours are way lighter then on the website, it’s soo dry and flakes easy and the colours are so contrast from each other I found it hard to blend together so it was obvious. Probably the most drying lipstick I have had.
#questionoftheday what is your surname and why do you seem to keep it as a secret? hehe love your videos ♥️
I actually really love that lip color on you it does suit you even if you don't think it is beautiful
Love these videos ❤️
These tampon packages are so weird for me. I live in Germany and here tampons are in a super small package, just the tampon. No applicator thingy 😅
I love OB! All the applicators are so wasteful.
I live in Brazil and is just in the last 2 years that those applicator things start to appear
I love that colour lipstick on you Soph x
I miss your nail tutorials can u do an updated nail routine?
