Wonderful recipe. I just made some Brotchen rolls the other day and they are in my freezer. I will be trying yours with the addition of buttermilk. I notice a lot of recipes use buttermilk for the recipes, does it matter if it's full fat or no fat buttermilk? I can never find the full fat at my stores. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Stay well and safe.

Thank you, Anita. I personally prefer full fat buttermilk, but no fat buttermilk should work fine.

I'll have to keep my eye out for the full fat. There are dairy farms around me, someone must have it. Thank you.@@AllTastesGerman

I think there is a typo. 1 tbsp salt is too much. I used the webpage recipe.

The recipe is correct, in the recipe I use coarse Kosher salt. If you use fine salt you would use about 1 tsp.
