Sorry you went through this man. I'm a sufferer too, can very much relate. I had to take a urine test for my software developer job (very logical). Was absolutely mortified about it to the point where I considered sabatoging my own interview so I wouldn't be compelled to go through with it. On the day-of, I drank an ungodly amount of water before walking in, told the nurse about my situation, and they luckily gave me as much time as I needed in a private room. By some miracle I got it done in a few minutes. The nurse was relieved saying that they deal with paruretics frequently and normally it takes much longer.
I'm not trying to boast my surviving the test, but I guess I'm saying that there is some hope out there. Slowly more and more people are recognizing this as the common condition that it is and are willing to accommodate. It really is incredible how little it's talked about, and how much people suffer because of it. Videos like these help change that. Cheers.

I'm sorry you have to go through this. It's crazy how many work places show no sympathy or understanding to people dealing with this issue. But don't let your hands down, you will definitely find a work place that treats you like a normal person - with sympathy and respect.
I just have to ask, do you also deal with parcopresis? I've been dealing with severe parcopresis for about 4 years now and I'm thinking maybe you have something to suggest?

I don't think I have parcopresis, maybe just a small anxiety that comes with it. I find it uncomfortable to defecate in public but it's not impossible for me. Unlike paruresis when not matter how bad I have to go I can't. It's a struggle and I hope you find some sort of relief for your parcopresis.
