    According to modern scholarship there are at least nine dispensations. In order to be a Hyper-dispensationalists a person would have to believe in more than nine. Based on that, are we Hyper-Dispensationalists? For more info visit: www.gracebiblechurchct.org

    What a great study. I attended church for 11 years and never even heard of dispensations. It seems that there's a movement to cover up this information which, in my view, only lends more credence to it.

    No we are not grafted into their covenant. Their covenant was postponed upon the stoning of Stephen and God introduced the dispensation of Grace. Paul has nothing to do with the 12 apostles. That's why his name is not one of those in the 12 foundations in the book of the Revelation.

      Correct sir but the postponement of Israel's program was not when Stephen died and Paul was converted. It was during after acts 28:28 only when the new dispensation begins. It's called the church of one body and Christ was the head, or the church of the mystery.

    how does the 70 week Danial prophecy fit into all this?

    • @halfstep67
      @halfstep67 9 лет назад +2

      Bob Bob The 70 weeks prophecy is for Israel. In fact, all prophecy is for Israel and mystery, (revelation of the mystery, the dispensation of grace) is for the body of Christ. We must divide prophecy (Israel) from mystery (the body of Christ).You have the 69 weeks/dispensation of grace/70th week. The dispensation of grace has interrupted the 70 weeks prophecy. Once the dispensation of grace is complete, the 70th week will continue where it left off from the 69th week.
      The revelation of the mystery, the dispensation of grace was never in prophecy. It was kept hidden in God, it was kept secret until revealed to Apostle Paul.Romans 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was KEPT SECRET since the world began, BUT NOW is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

    Also, is he saying that the book of James does not apply to us at all because it's written exclusively to the 12 tribes dispersed abroad? Under that reasoning, very little of the Bible applies to us today.

    Dispensationalism dates back to John Nelson Darby (1800-80) the founder of the Plymouth (Exclusive) Brethren which split countless families. These new teachings were spread in the US through the Scofield Reference Bible published 1909, & created by the American, Cyrus I. Scofield. It is a grievous heresy, unknown in the history of the Christian Church until Darby. If you believe this stuff, then do some research on Darby and Scofield.

    • @bryn6000
      @bryn6000 8 лет назад +1

      +Philip Johnson I'm asking people to research Darby & Scofield. They can come to their own conclusions. I've made mine clear. One of the prime reasons for my criticism of dispensationalism is that it leads Christians, or people who think they are Christian, to support, deny or justify the crimes of a racist apartheid Zionist colony in Palestine engaged in ethnic cleansing oppression house demolitions & periodic episodes of genocide in Gaza, all in the Name of Christ. Moreover, it's a deeply anti-Semitic heresy, enouraging Jewish people to migrate to Israel to hasten the Second Coming of Christ, when those same Jewish people will have to choose to convert or perish. From a scriptural standpoint, dispensationalism falls at every hurdle. Darby's ideas were born out of the turmoil of the late 18C & 19C industrial & political revolutions which reawakened beliefs in the imminent return of Christ. It spawned the Millerites, & the other heresies that emanated from that movement, the Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses & Ellen White's Adventism.

    • @bryn6000
      @bryn6000 8 лет назад +1

      +Philip Johnson Please don't use emotive terms or accusations such as 'slandered', else I won't respond further. I don't share Darby's dispensational interpretation of "rightly dividing the word". I can ask you one question, though I suspect I already know the answer. Do you agree that the State of Israel (unilaterally declared on 15 May 1948) is the fulfilment of biblical prophecy?

    37 minute mark - I see the trib period as another dispensation where the law comes back and not part of the MK. How can you have the end of the trib and Jesus setting foot on earth and not have a new dispensation? Peace and blessings.

    • @halfstep67
      @halfstep67 9 лет назад

      ***** Actually, I see the tribulation as a transition between the dispensation of the law to the dispensation of the kingdom. (The law and the prophets were UNTIL John:) The transition started with Jesus preaching the gospel of the kingdom but was interrupted at the cross and the dispensation of grace started. (From THAT TIME Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.) When the dispensation of grace is completed, the transition of the kingdom gospel will continue for 7 years.

      The law is until the salvation of Saul of Tarsus on the road to Damascus. In John, the law is still in effect because there is still a clear and distinct separation between Jew and Gentile. As Christ told the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:22 "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews." Christ did not come for us Gentiles, He came for the Jews: Rom 15:8, Matt 10:5-6, Matt 15:21-28. If the Church the body of Christ does not exist, we are not in the dispensation of grace. If there is a clear division between Jew and Gentile, we are not in the dispensation of grace because it is in the dispensation of grace that the two are made one: Eph 2:13-14, 1 Cor 12:13.

  • @openarms2519
    @openarms2519 3 года назад +1

    The correct dispensation or administration of God started during the time of Adam and Eve, Noah, Job up to Gen. 12 this was the dispensation of the earlier gentiles and approximately 2000 yrs or 2 days. They will go to paradise and not to far above heavens or not the new jerusalem which is for Israel only. Then 2nd dispensation or administration was during the time of Abraham to Christ this is entirely Israel program its about the law and the fulfillment of the law when Christ came and died approx. 4000 years or 4 days. Now the 3rd dispensation came after acts 28:28 when Paul said be it known therefore unto you (the Israelites) that the salvation of God will now be sent to the Gentiles and they will hear it. So from acts 28 approximately 64AD to now 2020AD is the grace period or the church of one body which "Christ is the head" a total of approximately 6000 yrs or 6 days with the Lord in 2064. Note: (no one knows the return of the Lord except the Father). This church will appear with him in Glory in Colossians. This is also called the mystery or body of Christians that was hid in God from generations of men. From the time of Adam till the 12 disciples doesn't know this dispensation or administration of the mystery. It was only revealed to apostle Paul. The 4th dispensation is during the 2nd coming of the Lord and his reign for a thousand years. 7000 yrs or the 7th day after his reign. This include the meet up in the air or clouds with Christ and his people on earth. (Not rapture the right term is "meet up in the air") They will come down to earth together with the Lord to reign. CHRIST WILL NOT BRING THEM TO HEAVEN. This is the continuity of Israel's program. The 5th is the Great White Throne where he will judge the quick and the dead or the just and the unjust including the false prophets, the beast, Satan and his angels then the new heaven and then the new heaven and the new earth. The new Jerusalem is the holy city or promised land to Abraham and his seeds. Only Israelites will be in the holy city. The other saved people from the time of Adam to some people during the time of Christ and who accepted Christ as their savior including the thief that was crucified with Him will be in paradise together with Adam Noah Job and others. The beginning of 8000 years will be when God will be all in all and Christ will be all in all. One God to rule us all. The beginning of the 8th day. What he was talking about here in his video about 9 dispensation is included here. Because this is the legit correct and the true main dispensations and the destinations of God's children. I hope this will be of big help to those people who are confused which is the correct division of dispensations. Remember to always to right divide when necessary. 2nd tim 2:15. God speed🙏💌

    How could the period between Adam to Moses be one Dispensation Called Promise!! Apostle Paul Never could have meant that. Because Adam to Noah was one period or dis[pensation. The FLOOD interrupts it. Noah and his family went into a new earth (not creation). They started a new dispensation!! Until the call of Abraham!! Then Abraham to Moses was one period. It is very clear. You have made it into one.

      Mee Siphht If I may offer a thought about what a dispensation is I would ask you to consider the word itself. Dispense. From that you get the idea of something being given out, would you not? In this same thought consider a dispensary when perhaps medicine is given out.
      In light of that, consider the first time the word is used in the KJV Bible. I Cor 9:17 "For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me."
      Paul was commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel of the Grace of God. He had to dispense it out.
      What is the Gospel of the Grace of God? That Christ died for our sins according to Scripture and was buried and rose again the 3rd day. Also according to Scripture. The unique message Paul had was that God had reconciled the world unto Himself in Christ by the Cross and that He'd thru Paul and now the Body of Christ are begging people to believe the Gospel so they can make that reconciliation a reality to themselves the moment they believe.
      Paul also speaks of the fellowship of the mystery. That God was forming this Body of Christ out of Jew & Gentile without the former distinction of having to come through Israel.

    Honestly, if Jesus setting foot on the earth for the first time in 2 thousand years isn't a transition, then I don't know what IS! I'm reading "The Rapture" by Hal Lindsey right now, and he says there are 7. He counts time only, not eternity, and the Tribulation time is just the same Law dispensation that had been put on pause while the grace dispensation---and we the Church---remain on the earth. HOWEVER, that and whether we are the bride of Christ or not (I believe we are because Jesus said "I go and prepare a place for you..." like a Jewish man said to a woman betrothed to him, among other things), but it's certainly not something to be divided over, and I would never just go and put someone down. I KNOW Jesus does not call any of us to do such a thing!

    So James should have logically wrote about Judaism and not about Christ. Excuse me but I think based off of one of the apostles work which is based off the work of the cornerstone Jesus Christ will be judging the world with him on twelve thrones. If my salvation came by one of these apostles and they got it from Christ who do they help him judge but the 12 tribes of Israel. Isn't the new covenant with no other but the house of Israel and Judah. Aren't we grafted into their covenant.

    In 17:04, the "one new man", in Colossians 2:15, means, in this context, that there is now no difference between Jew and Gentile, since Christ has "broken down the middle wall of partition between us" (referring to the Jews and the Gentiles --- see Colossians 2:14. Really good stuff...but he definitely has the grace dispensation at the wrong time. It says until that Seed is made manifest, that faith ie Jesus on the cross. Jesus fulfilled the law...the last sacrifice, the real One, right? God made a covenant to bless..Abe and the Seed (Christ)...the Hebrews and Jesus. It was broken left and right by mankind...but the never ever broken between God and God. The blessings are EVERYTHING good, listed in duet 28. It's spiritual primarily, healing spiritually. The Anointed One, the Christ...heals, comes forgiving sins (healing spiritually) and healing physically. Jesus' ministry. The law dispensation ended when Jesus the Christ fulfilled it. He didn't break covenant. All blessings are His..legally. And the Father pours it all onto us, for Jesus' sake. That proof is our communion WITH Christ, the new covenant in His blood. It truly is a love story.
    The dispensation of grace was placed at the feet of Saul. It had already begun.

      This movement as well preys on Christian’s (which this movement is not Christian, it’s man made), One of their past leaders/teacher/ leaders (who is now a Baptist pastor) for almost 20 years, he organized their yearly meetings, he organized their youth camps, he was one of the top leaders in this movement, but by careful study and separation came to the truth… he told me their goal was to confuse modern day Christian’s with hard understanding scripture and slowly work on them…they don’t win the lost, they focus on Christian’s primarily…
      1. They deny The gospel of Jesus Christ that Christ preached is NOT what saves a man they say it’s the gospel God committed to Paul, and Paul is our example they say… the gentiles leaders…
      2. They deny the church of Jesus Christ active today and now.
      3. They deny water baptism today and now.
      4. They deny a lot of New Testament scripture for the now and write it off for another dispensation, and they claim the authority to do this by the verse rightly dividing the word.
      5. The deny biblical tithing and giving to the local church and world wide missions
      6. They deny personal accountability of sin, saying once saved God‘s grace is so superior you never have to confess your sin it’s already covered, that is a part truth but leads to a horrible testimony… so in other words once your saved if you sin, don’t need to confess, it’s already removed.
      Now the thing that’s interesting is this, what I just wrote, they will take and teach it to their congregation where poor man don’t understand…but ….they won’t take it to the corner of the street and publicly debate it in a real scenario in real world … reason being, they simply cannot defend this type of teaching on a public platform with pastors, professors, and such.
      Approach your Bible by being spirit filled and read it daily and there is no way this is going to be found. Once again you’ve got to be brainwashed into it. And everybody who believes in this teaching has been a Christian a one point that has been brainwashed into this and perhaps a Christian who was weak at the time this was presented to them. We are putting material together to show the serious errors of this.
      If this movement did not abuse 2 Tim. 2:15… they could not prove 90% of their so called doctrine.
      Their entire philosophy is based off of one piece of scripture!

    LOL.. I think the old Church of Christ might be worse than the old Baptist. Great message.
    I only joke about this because I grew up in Church of Christ. And yes MOST but not all think they are they only ones going to heaven.

      Ohhhhh yes, I almost became a member of a Church of Christ because I thought it was just another nondenominational church. They'd insisted I get baptized (had managed FOR A TIME to convince me I wasn't saved, even thought I'd already BEEN baptized!), and it wasn't that, nor even how they started treating me (after the "love bombing" phase was over) that got me thinking I'd better leave that church. Because I really WAS afraid I'd go to hell if I'd left them. It was realizing they'd expect me to treat OTHERS how they'd begun treating me that I finally drew the line!

      Yep... Same here. If you are not a Church of Christ member they don't want you taking the Lords supper.. If baptized in another denomination they believe you have to be WATER baptized in their church. They are off on a few things... :-\
