We (born again church) *are* the bride of Christ. We are the bride, body and children of Christ. All 3 in 1. *Look up Ephesians **5:22**-32.* Notice in verse 32 Paul writes of the *MYSTERY* of Christ and the church, after he got done comparing the church as the wife, and Christ as the Husband in a marriage in the verses before 32?
"New Jerusalem" simply means the people within the city, not the building structures.

@@W.451 Pick up a bible or go to biblehub and look up: Revelation 19:7 and read on from there. I use KJV bible, and it says wife. Other versions of the bible say bride, which is the same thing anyway. I am using scripture written by Paul, which compares a human husband and wife to Jesus (Husband) and Church (wife). Please do not troll here, we are having a serious discussion. ☺️

This sermon was very refreshing! I always wondered why gold was mentioned in Genesis 2, it was right under my nose! And Adam was the figure of the Lord who was to come (Rom 5:14)! It's also interesting that eventually, after the flood, the people of the earth try to make their own city! (Gen 11). My mind is blown away!
On a little side note, I wish bro Rodney had kept the beard!

@@Harpazo_to_Yeshua Grace, and peace, to you, and your loved ones. You don't see that he's talking about how we are already one with Him, as a man, and a woman, are one when they marry? We are His body, flesh and bone, so to speak. He's our Head. As a husband is to be the head of his family. I'm already married to the Lord in that sense.
And in Revelation 19:14, it says, "And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean". KJV. It doesn't say wife.
The Church is the Body of Christ, not the Bride. I thought he taught it very well. What verse says we are the children of Christ? I only know of the verses calling those who walk in the spirit, shall be called the children of God.
      We are blessed, amen.

@@sandragambrel9721 Yes, I do know that we're *also* The Body of Christ. Read Ephesians 5:23-32 thoroughly and you'll see this. See how Paul compares a wife to the Church, and Jesus as husband? This is for good reason. *Then* Paul finishes by writing, in verses 28 to 31, that the Body of Christ is the Church and so on. :)
Verse 32 clearly concludes that this was a literal thing (in Spirit) that Paul was writing about, for it's a *great mystery,* thus the Holy Spirit of God was revealing this to him. :)
When two marry, they become *ONE FLESH* and so when Jesus and the Church marry, we become *ONE BODY!* It makes perfect sense. :)
Revelation 19:7-8 is written about the wife (Church) married to Jesus in heaven, wearing *fine linen, white and clean.* Then, after this, in verse 14, the armies come riding out of heaven on white horses, *clothed in fine linen, white and clean.* Of course angels will be there but I think it's pretty clear that why it points out this specific detail of *fine linen, white and clean:* The wife was seen wearing exactly that in verse 8, thus it means the wife (Church) is *with* Jesus riding on white horses to be *a part of* His second coming! :)
Well I view Jesus as my Everything: God, Husband, Father, Creator. So I'm also a "child of Christ." :)

@@Harpazo_to_Yeshua Well sis, I hope we can agree to disagree agreeably, lol. I don't believe I have to marry Him, cause there is no one I am more intimate with already. He is my head, my authority. My Life. He is the air that I breath.
Jews, and Gentiles, right now, at this time, can be One with Him. All they have to do is believe in His death, burial, and resurrection. Then they are no longer Jew, or, Gentile. They become a member of His Body.
Death to the old man, and life to the new man, which is growing up in Christ even now. May we both grow in the knowledge of Him, and be one, in one another, as we are in one in Him. Praise the Lord, oh, my soul, and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name.

@@awatchwoman You hadn't heard this before because it's a common mistake that the church through history has shot down over and over. I admit, when I first was confronted with this, I began to question what I had been taught for years. It turns out, what I had been taught was what the Bible teaches. The church is the bride of Christ. Read Revelation 21 carefully. It doesn't say Israel is the bride, but New Jerusalem. New Jerusalem and Israel are not the same. Old Jerusalem and Israel are the same. Remember Jeremiah 3:8, " “And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.”
God divorced Israel. Remember the purpose for Paul going to the Gentiles was to make Israel jealous? This is why.
With that said, I do not believe God is finished with Israel. They still are His chosen people with whom He will fulfil His eternal promises through. Israel is still God's people but not His bride. A Jew can certainly become the bride because, in Christ "there is neither Jew nor Greek."
Some evidence for why the church is the bride would be Ephesians 5, Revelation 19-21 (funny he never mentioned about who is in the city New Jerusalem aka "those whose names are written in the book of life"), II Corinthians 11:2, and many parables in the Gospels where Jesus is clearly talking to Israel about a wedding. Notice in these instances He always refers to Israel as the wedding guests not the bride. Also, it is important to read the context of Revelation 21. Notice the Marriage Supper of the Lamb has already taken place (ch. 19). At this point, if my understanding is correct, only the church is in heaven with Christ because immediately following the marriage is when Christ returns to the earth bringing his armies with Him. In chapter 20, all who were not found in the book of life were cast into the lake of fire leaving only those who are in the book of life.
And now the final detail. To get this one we'd have to agree that Israel are God's people. I'll assume we agree on this. Revelation 21: 3 is key. God brings down New Jerusalem to "dwell with His people." If New Jerusalem was Israel, then why would the city need to come down to be with Israel? See the problem here? New Jerusalem is indeed the bride because the Bible says that verbatim, but the question is "Who is in New Jerusalem?" The only answer can be the church because up to this point we are the only ones that have been in heaven to be able to come back down in the first place.
I really am not here to argue with Christians about every little detail, but in reading your comment, it sounded very honest and sincere like you really want to know the truth no matter what it is. All I ask is that you consider this evidence for yourself, stay in God's Word, and if you find anything wrong with what I have said here, please let me know. I too want the truth no matter what it is. I have no problem with being wrong so long as there is legitimate evidence to show it. In this video, I found every refutation of my position to fall short based on biblical evidence of comparing scripture with scripture. I truly hope Pastor Rodney is simply mistaken in some of his Bible studying and not that he is an active wolf among the sheep. If he would care to respond to this comment and tell me I'm the wolf, please do so. Just remember to bring evidence. All the answers are in the perfect Word of the Lord. Read it. Study it. Live it.
      Thank you.

The Bride of Christ are the INHABITANTS of the New Jerusalem. When God judged Sodom and Gomorah, he did not judge the buildings and streets, He judged the INHABITANTS. When Jesus talked about judging Jerusalem, Capernaum, etc. , He did not mean that the buildings and streets were to be judged, but the INHABITANTS.

Liberty and Justice - Also, what would the Wedding Feast of the Lamb be for? Married to a type of spiritual land, or being reunited with His fallen children? I always thought that God describes spiritual realities in almost a childlike form so that we can understand in Faith the approximate truth, such as: 1. We being God's Children, 2. Kings and Priests ruling with Christ, 3. Jesus not just our Savior but also like an older brother being grafted into the family of God, 4. Being the Bride of Christ, hence marraige supper of the lamb 5. All categorized in Jesus coming once, calling us to Himself, going away for a short bit, then coming back for His bride, lines up perfectly with the Song of Solomon, traditional ancient Jewish customs ,the husnand coming back at an hour not known, bride always be ready.... not too sure it is Jerusalem...but hey I could be wrong. I love the idea of Jesus being my Bridegroom even though I am male. Doesn't bother me. Jesus is my portion.
Anyways I look at all these spiritual truths being combined into the greatest thing we can ever conceive. Being made in God's image is under rated, and we are the bees knees in His eyes, and I would like to think that God is doing everything He can to save us. Is it arrogant to say it is all about us here on earth? Angels are working with Him, the devil and his hoard hate our guts, a war over the souls of men and women and children. IT'S SUCH A MYSTERY! 💛 not too worried about it all. We are the Bride of Christ, (this is my conviction atleast 😃) Come quickly Lord Jesus!

So you pulled a verse out of context to show what.
Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
      Romans 7:1-6 - AKJV
In verse on Paul said I speak to you that know the law (Jews) he was giving an example of the bondage the law had. He has been tell them since chapter 4 that they are freed Ed from the law of sin and death through Christ Jesus death, burial, and resurrection Romans chapter 6. When he tells them that they are married (joined) to another Paul start talking about the Spirit not you being a bride of Christ. He is tell them they are loosed from the law and dead to the law now serve in the newness of the Spirit not in the oldness of the letter.

Jesus chose Paul and sent Paul to preach to everyone.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
      Acts 9:15 - AKJV
After the fall of Israel happened in Acts chapter seven with the stoning Steven. Paul was separated for his calling and starts with Jews.
As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.
      Acts 13:2 - AKJV
During the four Gospels it’s Jew only and then during the transition part of the book of Acts it was Jew first and after the close of Acts it no longer Jew first it he will go to the Gentiles.
Paul says he is the Apostle of the Gentiles after he speaks about the fall and diminishing of Israel and that would have included the twelve Apostles from Jesus earthly ministry
I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? Romans 11:11-12 - AKJV

Shannon Hamby is the book of romans written unto israel or gentiles? When he says for those that know the law, some gentiles didnt know the law?
“What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;”
      ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
      What is sin?
“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”
      ‭‭1 John‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭KJV‬‬
So are gentiles under the law also? If galations are gentiles, why would they try to revert back to the law if they were never under it?
“But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?”
      ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬
Of course we know the law was to bring someone to faith, once you have faith you are no longer under the law

What happens when a man and woman marry in the bible? They become *one flesh.*
What happened when we married Jesus in Spirit? We became One Body.
When the human husband plants his seed in his bride, a child is born.
When God planted His Holy Spirit Seed in us, we are Born again! So one says we are His Child because we are BORN but God also planted His Holy Spirit SEED in us first, thus proving we are married to Him in order for Him to do this, as it is consummation.

In traditional Hebrew marriage, the man would offer the woman he wants to marry a cup of wine, and if she drinks, she accepts the marriage. The man also pays a price to the father for this bride.
When Jesus died on the cross, He shed His Blood. This is the price He paid for anyone who accepts this Wine to drink in and become MARRIED to Jesus!

    ISRAEL IS THE BRIDE
    WE ARE THE BODY
2 Corinthians 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have ESPOUSED you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
ESPOUSED in 2 Cor.11:2 is not the SAME as ESPOUSED in Matthew 1:18
Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was ESPOUSED to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
They are spelled the same in the ENGLISH, but their Greek root are DIFFERENT:
ESPOUSED in Matthew 1 "is to give a souvenir (engagement present), that is, betroth: - espouse."
ESPOUSED in 2 Cor. 11 "to joint, that is, (figuratively) to woo (reflexively to betroth): - espouse."
We are JOINED to Christ through BELIEF of the GOSPEL.
This is how WE the BODY OF CHRIST will be presented to CHRIST:
Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you HOLY AND
UNBLAMEABLE and UNREPROVEABLE in his sight:
This is what Paul means when he says" AS a chaste virgin"
He isn't presenting a BRIDE to Christ, he is presenting a PERFECT BODY of Christ to Christ, HOLY, UNBLAMEABLE, unreproveable.
In Chapter 2 of Colossians he says and YE ARE COMPLETE IN HIM so we will be presented COMPLETE.
Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
NOTE - is says he is going to "present to himself a GLORIOUS CHURCH" having NO SPOT or WRINKLE.
It DOES NOT say he is going to present to himself a BRIDE.
"having no spot or wrinkle" being Holy and unblameable" is the AS a chaste virgin" we will be presented PERFECT.
BEFORE the foundations of the world, it was determined we would be presented this way:
Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be HOLY AND WITHOUT BLAME before him in love:
IN order for the BELIEVING REMNANT of Israel to be presented this way, she must CONFESS HER SINS.
It DOES NOT say he is going to present to himself a BRIDE
It DOES NOT say he is going to present to himself a BRIDE
It DOES NOT say he is going to present to himself a BRIDE
It DOES NOT say he is going to present to himself a BRIDE
It CLEARLY SAYS ((( A *GLORIOUS CHURCH* )))

Simple parallel from the Word of God.

How would you explain Rev. 19:7-8 which says: Let us be glad and rejoice and honor Him; for the time has come for the wedding banquet of the Lamb, and His bride has prepared HERSELF. SHE is permitted to WEAR THE CLEANEST AND WHITEST AND FINEST OF LINENS. (Fine linen represents the good deeds done by the people of God.) A city can't dress herself in white clean linen. Also verse 14 of Rev. 19 says these people dressed in white linen ride white horses and FOLLOW CHRIST on His white horse when He returns to earth.

Thing that differ can not be the same.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
      Revelation 19:7-9 - AKJV
Notice in Rev 19:7 the wife has made themselves ready.
      Paul said
that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
      Ephesians 5:26-27 - AKJV
Jesus himself made the church ready to present it to himself a glorious church he cleansed us.
Why would you need to be married to someone we are already joined to.
for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. Ephesians 5:30 - AKJV
We are members (present tense) already and have no need to be married to someone we are already joint to like Israel will be at his second coming. (Matthew22:2-14 Jesus speaking to the chief priest and Pharisees about the nation of Israel not the body of Christ)
How can to body of Christ who is the ONE NEW MAN also be a woman?
having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; Ephesians 2:15 - AKJV
and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
      Ephesians 4:24 - AKJV
The body of Christ the NEW MAN (not the bride) was created in His righteousness and have no need to be dressed in fine linens for righteousness. We have the righteousness of Christ.
The body in Ephesian 5:25-30 is described as IT but modern translation have changed it to read as her to keep this bride of Christ theology alive. No where in any of Paul’s letter do you find him use the word bride nor can you find the word bride of Christ in the Bible.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for IT; that he might sanctify and cleanse IT with the washing of water by the word, that he might present IT to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that IT should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
      Ephesians 5:25-30 - AKJV
We are member of HIS body since he was a male that would make since that it should be translated as it and not her. Paul uses simile to compare a relationship between Christ and his body he is not calling his body his wife that would be transgenderism or a hermaphrodite.

TWO MEANINGS OF THE WIFE OF CHRIST.
(Please open the Holy Bible and read the undermentioned Biblical verses 'real time' to understand this write up better).
In the Bible, a word may have two or more meanings under different contexts so as to make us understand the spiritual meaning contained in the verses. Those who stick only one meaning of a word, regardless of the situation, end up misinterpreting the Bible completely. Those who deny the existence of heavenly Mother are doing exactly that.
    1, Grounds of the opposers.
They claim that the word Bride represents the present day Churches, saints, and the likes referring the following verses :-
    Eph 5:22-25
    2 Cor 11:2
Since the bride is the wife of the lamb, we need to understand the Lamb first.
2, Two meanings of the Lamb.
If it's true that the Church is likened to the wife of Christ in the above verses, can we posit that the bride in Revelation indicates the Church ? No we can't, but we can verify with an example from the Bible by checking the meaning of the lamb.
In the undermentioned verse the word lamb definitely refers to the saints
    Jn 21:15
Then can we say that the same in the following verse ?
    Jn 1:29
Here, the lamb is Jesus Christ our Father.
3, Thus, the word Bride has two meanings as well.
Just as it is with the word lamb, the word Bride carries two meanings as well.
If we refer the following verses, , , ,
    Rev 19:7; 21:9: ad 22:17
, , , , we can easily understood that the Bride of the lamb who gives us the water of life in the Heavenly wedding banquet, only refers to our Heavenly Mother.
    Amen !

Grace, and peace, to you, and your loved ones. I always wondered why things didn't make sense. The NT books seemed to contradict each other. I've never agreed with most preachers on the subject. I don't agree with everything Rodney says, but, as far as the body of Christ being the Bride, I agree, we are not. We don't have to marry Him. We are already married to Him. We can't be anymore One with Him than we already are. The Jews will also become One with Him, which is the New Covenant that they rejected when He came. That's why He offered it to us Gentiles. We believe He is who He said He is. We are the Children of Grace, praise God. We are a peculiar people. Set apart. We are blessed, cause we didn't see Him, yet we believed. They, the Jews, don't believe unless they see. And, He won't come back till they do believe.

+Yuda Yuwono In Revelation chapter 12, John sees a vision of a woman "clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars" (Revelation 12:1). Note the similarity between this description and the description that Joseph gave of his father Jacob (Israel) and his mother and their children (Genesis 37:9-11). The twelve stars refer to the twelve tribes of Israel. So the woman in Revelation 12 is Israel.
Additional evidence for this interpretation is that Revelation 12:2-5 speaks of the woman being with child and giving birth. While it is true that Mary gave birth to Jesus, it is also true that Jesus, the son of David from the tribe of Judah, came from Israel. In a sense, Israel gave birth-or brought forth-Christ Jesus. Verse 5 says that the woman’s child was "a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne." Clearly, this is describing Jesus. Jesus ascended to heaven (Acts 1:9-11) and will one day establish His kingdom on earth (Revelation 20:4-6), and He will rule it with perfect judgment (the “rod of iron”; see Psalm 2:7-9).
may i ask why, you no longer believe?

The imagery and symbolism of marriage is applied to Christ and the body of believers known as the church. The church is comprised of those who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and have received eternal life. Christ, the Bridegroom, has sacrificially and lovingly chosen the church to be His bride (Ephesians 5:25-27). Just as there was a betrothal period in biblical times during which the bride and groom were separated until the wedding, so is the bride of Christ separate from her Bridegroom during the church age. Her responsibility during the betrothal period is to be faithful to Him (2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:24). At the rapture, the church will be united with the Bridegroom and the official “wedding ceremony” will take place and, with it, the eternal union of Christ and His bride will be actualized (Revelation 19:7-9; 21:1-2).
In the eternal state, believers will have access to the heavenly city known as New Jerusalem, also called “the holy city” in Revelation 21:2 and 10. The New Jerusalem is not the church, but it takes on some of the church’s characteristics. In his vision of the end of the age, the apostle John sees the city coming down from heaven adorned “as a bride,” meaning that the city will be gloriously radiant and the inhabitants of the city, the redeemed of the Lord, will be holy and pure, wearing white garments of holiness and righteousness. Some have misinterpreted verse 9 to mean the holy city is the bride of Christ, but that cannot be because Christ died for His people, not for a city. The city is called the bride because it encompasses all who are the bride, just as all the students of a school are sometimes called “the school.”
Believers in Jesus Christ are the bride of Christ, and we wait with great anticipation for the day when we will be united with our Bridegroom. Until then, we remain faithful to Him and say with all the redeemed of the Lord, “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20).

You are correct. This "rightly dividing", "grace movement" is an arrogant movement that puts more stock into being right than being spiritual. This is a dishonest teaching that ignores the rest of Revelation 21. Read to the end and notice who is in that city. After all, he asked, "who is the bride of Christ" not "what is the bride of Christ." A city is a "what." Furthermore, the previous two chapters of Revelation set the stage beautifully. Chapter 19 you see the marriage supper of the Lamb. Up to this point, of the three groups mentioned by Paul--the Jew, the Gentile, the Church of God--only one is in heaven. The church has been raptured out, attends the wedding reception (so probably the wedding too), and then immediately comes back with the Lord to fight in Armageddon. Chapter 20 you have the Great White Throne judgment. Notice all who were not written in the book of life are cast into the lake of fire. That means there are two groups left--the church (now raptured and married) and the Jews. Now look at chapter 21 and see that those in the city are those whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

@@lukebarrett7955 Sorry for late response, I rarely check my emails, so didn't spot your response until now. lol Anyway, also think about this: Paul writes about the church being the BODY of Christ. Remember Ephesians 5:22-32, and within those verses Paul writes how the man and woman become "one flesh" in their marriage? He is clearly showing that we (church) are Christs BODY ("flesh"), meaning we are His bride / wife in the Spirit. 🙂
The symbolism of Adam being pierced in his side and his bride came forth soon after. When Jesus (the "second Adam") was pierced in *His* side (on the cross), and *His* bride (born of His Holy Spirit) came forth soon after!
In traditional Hebrew marriage custom, when a man wanted to marry a woman, he would first *_pay a price_* to the womans' father. Paul says we've been "bought with a price" (1 Corinthians 6:20) by Jesus, and how He paid for us was with His very own blood.
The husband would also go away and build a house for his bride. Jesus said that He will go and prepare a place for us (up in heaven), that where He is, we will be also! This is clearly symbolic of a husbandman making a place to dwell for his wife and himself in the future. Many other clear symbols of the born again church being Jesus bride! 🙂

The bride of Christ is Jesus' wife. The 2nd coming Christ. Jerusalem coming down from Heaven simply means 2nd coming Christ's wife born on the Earth as a woman. She is called the New Jerusalem, this is a metaphor. Jesus is called bread coming down from Heaven, also a metaphor. Coming down from Heaven means being born on Earth. The word bride and lamb has two meaning. Waiting for a literal city to come down from Heaven is like waiting for Jesus to come on a literal cloud. Stop looking up at the skies, you will miss 2nd coming Christ and the bride. They were looking up to the skies for Elijah at the same time they were cutting off John The Baptist head (Who was the spiritual Elijah). We are made of body and spirit. So we have to understand physical things and spiritual things. If it doesn't make sense physically then look at it spiritually. GodBlessU.

If God doesn't separate the body and the bride, what gives you that right? God not only does not separate them, He makes them inseparable in both Genesis and Ephesians. Furthermore, what did you think Paul was talking about when he said, "I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ?" Just because you divide somewhere where some other Christian doesn't, does not mean you are rightly dividing. ALL the "different gospels" have the same foundation: Christ, and him crucified. Peter's gospel was fundamentally no different than the one Paul preached, BOTH preached Christ crucified, buried and resurrected. At Pentecost the SAVED believer received the gift of the Holy Ghost by baptism in water. In Acts 10:44, we see believers SAVED and receiving the Holy Ghost at the moment of salvation. But the fundamental foundation of both was Christ. The Jews baptism was a priestly one, The gentiles was a bridal mikvah. Aside from that, there is no need to place division where none are necessary. It only creates confusion.

Wrong, those who were present at Pentecost in Acts 2 were members in the little flock who were following the Gospel of God. They had the Holy Spirit POURED OUT ON THEM. Is that how we are saved today??? NO!!! We have the Holy Spirit living INSIDE of us, not poured out on us!!! Little flock members are in Christ but they are NOT members in the Body of Christ. "In Christ" and "in the Body of Christ" are not the same thing! The Body of Christ had not even started yet in ACTS 2! The Body of Christ started with Paul after the Lord revealed His mystery program to him! If you want to cling to your false doctrine that you have learned in your church from your pastor who does not have a clue how to rightly divide the scriptures, by all means help yourself. But here on this channel we are only interested in the truth of the scriptures, not any of this religious mumbo-jumbo that you are following!

+James Dixon Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my (Paul's) gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
26 But now is made manifest (to Paul FIRST), and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
1 Tim 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me (Paul) *FIRST* Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a *PATTERN* to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Paul was the *FIRST* to receive this doctrine. Paul is our *PATTERN*. The 12 (Peter, John, etc..) were never taught this doctrine by Christ during His earthly ministry...
If there is not more than one doctrine, then why does James say faith without works is dead, while Paul says we are justified by faith alone, and not by any works, lest ye would boast... Please explain this clear and blatant contradiction of doctrine without ANY EXCUSES or EXCEPTIONS. Thank You!!!

So, you believe that because the city's foundation is the 12 apostles, only Jews will live there? Did you realize that Luke is believed to not be Jewish? Can you please answer me then, where do you think will be the rest of creation? Will we be floating around in clouds? I believe that's where all believers will dwell with God in the end. Do you have anything to disprove that?

The gentiles are grafted in with the jews all the believe in Christ. God takes the 2 sticks and puts them together in his hands. And places one king over them in thier own land . no more 2 nations they will become one nation . not all Jews are of Jews. Not all Israel are if Israel. God has yet to separate his people out of these nations.

Paul does spend various times discussing behavior. I haven’t watched all of your videos, but do wonder what verses you use to justify once saved always saved. I’m not arguing against it. I’ve been taught it many years. I understand the rightly dividing. But why would you ignore “our apostles” warnings in Romans? This makes no sense to me

Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

OK. ( I dislike having a conversation with an unknown person, but it is what it is.)
I believe I can speak for the majority of those who argue these forums. I am 65 and was saved when 17. I have heard it all and been there done that just as Pastor has. I’ve tried them ALL.
I believe the reason we have the division of grace vs works teachings is because the grace message does not adequately address the sin problem. I’ve yet to find it. It seems it’s either black or white. We are expected to accept that all sins, past present and future are forgiven. And I’m not even going to argue that. It is, that when we study the Word, in earnest and faith and love seeking our fathers guidance, we read all the warnings Paul gives, especially in the book of Ephesians. We, being the humans we are, know we are not, nor ever will be perfect. I even understand that my spirit is perfect. I believe Paul is letting us know we are not to live in sin, or should I say willfully.
If one takes off the magical grace glasses, and reads the writings of Paul at face value, it is easy to come to the conclusion that if we DO sin, we will not be accepted.
Please listen to me. I know your arguments. I am talking about the way it comes across. I understand why it is taught that we must not sin. You can teach and preach forgiveness of all sins every day. But when one reads Paul’s writings, it does not come across that way.
The Bible is obviously written this way for a reason. If for no other reason than to spark debate.
The smoking gun would be Paul simply saying that all of our sins, past, present and future are forgiven, and if we stumble, get up, dust ourselves off and press on in our hope. It doesn’t. Paul keeps insisting that we do not sin, and that there are consequences to sin.
There is so much debate about this that the church is divided. Asking Christians to blindfully ignore consequences of sin, by accepting the truth that all sins including future are covered is great, until they read Paul’s writings for themselves. Please understand the frustration. There is nothing we Christians would prefer more than to have all of our sins completely forgiven, past present and future. We would all gladly accept it if it were worded that way. However, Paul beats the drum of sin avoidance too loudly.
This division will probably always remain.

    The BOC is the bride.
    1) Israel the wife.
    Isaiah 54:5-6
    King James Version
5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
    2) Israel divorced.
    Jeremiah 3:8
    King James Version
And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
    3) Israel cannot be remarried.
    Deuteronomy 24
    King James Version
24 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.
    3 And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
4 Her former husband, which sent her away, *may not take her again to be his wife* ,after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the Lord: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
    4) Revelation 19 KJV
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and *his wife hath made herself ready* .
8 And to her was granted that *she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints* .
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, *clothed in fine linen, white and clean* .
    5) Ephesians 5 KJV
21 onwards. Mystery of Christ and the church. The husband and the wife. 2 become 1 flesh.
    6) 2 Corinthians 11:2-3
    King James Version
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have *espoused you to one husband* ,that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
    7) while Israel is still on the earth during Daniel’s 70th week, they are waiting for their *Lord to return from the wedding* .What and who’s wedding if israel are on the earth?
    Luke 12:36
    KJV
And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for *their lord, when he will return from the wedding* ; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
New Jerusalem is a city. Housing many mansions. He prepares a place for us.
We shall *FOREVER BE WITH THE LORD..*
We can’t always be with Him if he leaves our side to go dwell with Israel instead.
Clue. WE ARE WITH HIM because the BOC is the New Jerusalem. Holy and blameless.

Straight teaching of dispensationalism, a system of teaching introduced by JN Darby ... an Irish barrister in the 1800s. Founder of the Christian Brethren. These are my roots. Humble and godly people. However these days I prefer to stand biblically with the standard teaching that has been in the church for 1800 years

If you're staying with the standard preaching of the past 1800 years that means one of two things. Either you're mixing law and Grace and you're totally confused, or you understand that Paul is your Apostle and you're rightly dividing the word of God and you're separating mystery from prophecy and you understand that the body of Christ is a separate and unique entity under grace. Which one is it?

You have been greatly deceived if you think the Catholic church is going to be the Bride of Christ. There is absolutely nothing in the scriptures to support that claim. If anything, the Pope is a high candidate to end up being the false prophet...

    MJBB33..... WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM??

  • @GraceColeman-bb2vm
    @GraceColeman-bb2vm 9 месяцев назад

God is always literal he said "bride" not brides he said groomsmen not grooms he said if you go to heaven besides my wife then your the guest. The church means Christians period. To be Christian means to be Christ like. Jesus didn't start religion. He shared the good news "Christianity" thats the church. Jesus is a Christian "the church" the bride is Christian " the church" the wedding guest id assume are Christian or they wouldn't be in heaven "the church" real simple. Christ wife is "his sister his bride". Because shes the only begotten daughter of the father. She is daughter Zion. Christ is son of man. Its all very simple if you pay attention to detail when you read the Bible.Jesus is perfect, im a broken into pieces for years and years sinner. So of course i compare myself. And i think hm the bride has to have zero spots or wrinkles so she can have here God become real for her. Shes supposed to be a functioning human being when she had the worst life in existence in all ways she earned a wooden pole like Christ earned his wooden cross . Not that her suffering means anything towards humanity but her life was and is so sad. She deals with things like extreme health problems he never experienced. Everyone hated her she had no support system she no family but her kids she could barely see because of hate and her issues she never wanted. She delt with shame because of all the bible verses and human words about how believing there was a mother Goddess was witch Craft? Or shes a False God if you believe in the obly mother Goddess creator when she is also i am. She went crazy being a creator and magic and in physical and emotional pain all alone . Shes never spoken to God only other demensional beings and i know she had to chnage things through the lines of time in such ridiculous crazy ways just to prove to God she was also the great i am and 6 years of magic she did in everything he still never became real for her. But i realized its ridiculous to be a woman and get caught up into the whole delusion that a suffering Queen by birth right to the father God of creation would be saved by her soulmate and change everything for so she was no longer alone no longer sickly no longer confused no longer poor no longer shamed. But yeah he would have came years before she 35 if he was going to love and save her cuz at this point theres nothing left to save shes already torn. i feel like her wisdom caught up with her and now she just sees negligence because she believed he was as all powerful as hisbword said he was, and anything else she expected from God was never a reality for her and him just showing up and changing everything forbher at this point wouldn't feel like a blessing anymore because an all powerful God would never have let anything happen to his "wife" he was supposed to love as much as the church " and its literally for her her entire life likebher life was horrible and he never existed and now if somehow the opposite of that happened to happen what would it matter now how could she ever ever trust him now yet she is the one hes waiting for to become perfect? What about your roll to your wife your supposed to love as much as the church? Natalie merchant made a music video about her called Ophelia with the brides help because the bride is also God about everything she went through and depicting how she was in and out of mental hospitals because of everything she goes through alone and it's heart wrenching.
