Two of my favorite animal loving teams! I've always loved Cesar and wish he was back on TV - he went through some bad times and it's good to see him smiling and happy! No one understands dogs better than he does.

Regarding the birds being chill and getting along in the shower....
Years ago I attended a seminar on stress management, and one thing I learned that has always stuck with me, is that water is a great stress reliever, no matter the scenario... a warm bubble bath, a hot steamy shower, watching or even just listening to waves breaking on a beach, the sound of rain, swimming or just floating in a pool, boating, looking at photos of bodies of water or waterfalls or rain, the sound of a trickling stream or fountain, watching a fish tank, underwater documentaries, and don't forget drinking water to hydrate your body.
I imagine water has the same effect on most animals. I watch animal rescue videos (mainly Hope For Paws/Eldad Hager) and even though the animals are scared and stressed out from being captured, they always become calm and relaxed during their bath... it's like their worries wash away with the dirt and grime... one of my favorite parts of those vids.

They are so educational and have learned a lot about what I can do to bond with him in a happy healthy way. This is honestly a great insight. I'm studying falconry for writing purposes right now, and one thing I didn't really get was "manning" in the proper depth until I watched a video by the Falcon Lady on it. It's basically the process of introducing a raptor to new things. They probably _will_ freak out (I mean they're birds) but the key to helping them understand it's not a treat is by staying calm and collected. They'll eventually realise that they're in no danger because _you_ are calm and not being hurt.

Sooo Good!! I have to say I laughed at the end when Caesar talked about taking the dog for a walk and the owner gets excited with his emotions and gestures about asking the dog if it wants to go for a walk LOL then wonders why the dogs get so excited... I laughed but then I honestly have to hide my head in shame because that's me :) Oh my goodness, still so much to learn!! Thank you so much for this awesome, amazing content!!!

Lilac Carb I just started watching Cesar's YT channel 2 WEEKS AGO after not seeing him in forever lol. I've also been strongly considering attempting a lifelong dream of working with animals, so it's like the universe is speaking to me. Oh and then Cesar mentions universal law and envisioning goals..so I'm gonna start listening to the signs presented to me and just go for it!

THIS WAS AN AMAZING VIDEO. We just got a dog and I’m really sad about it because now there is a less chance of me getting a bird. But thanks to the amazing person Marlene, I can learn about to get a bird to get along with a dog! Thank you.
Good luck finding your flock. Especially as you start, but always remember birds are prey & dogs are predators. It’s like having little & big kids. Size & strength matters & needs to be respected. Relationships matter but they are always different creatures with different needs
@@emcrolls agree, however if you just happen to get a harpy eagle and the dog's a chihuahua....no problems (actually a pelican would work too).
crashq haha. I live in Florida I’ve seen eagles swipe pocket dogs for snack. Pelicans or egrets would be fine though
Hi Marlene, I did have over 80 dogs, more then 20 cats all living together. My parrots were also desensitize for dogs, but of course I was always there to check out. in this case the philosophy Cesar has, is true! the part of energy is oh so true. It is a mindset .

We used to have 3 Shih Tzu’s, 4 parakeets, and a cockatiel and never once did we have issues. Ppl would ask how we did that without the the dogs chasing the birds and I could never put it into words how it all works.

This is brilliant, so much great information bouncing back and forth. Actually it was Cesar Millans teachings with my dogs that have made it no problem with having birds and dogs live freely in my home. I don’t leave them unsupervised together but my dogs have learned how to live with my birds peacefully. The two of you are the main people who have helped me with my pack and my flock. This video is awesome, and thank you again to both of you for all the free sharing of info that helps people like me have such a positive experience with my lovely pets xx🙏

I was literally in the shower with my birds when you were talking about the shower with the birds lol! I told Cesar several times before in his comments that he should link up with you when I saw he had a bird. I also told him to give me his bird but I digress. I kid. 😁Did you contact him? That’s awesome. Exactly what you guys were talking about is exactly what I’ve been doing and teaching my kids and husband when we started getting birds and dogs.
