Gear
Mirror
Steer
In Ottawa I learned gear, signal, check, and turn in order. I agree with you.
Yes, he mentioned checking your mirrors on the video. He just didn't include them in the step process because it should be automatically done.
Mirror last I was taught - always last to make sure nothing is behind you

Today was my 1st road test of G2 and I’m failed 🥲 bcz I was so nervous and everything I practiced and lessons were wasted bcz of my nervousness. Now I’m watching your videos will again go for 2nd test after 10 days. Thank for this video 👍

you only need to put the signals on twice. when you pull over to the left curb and put your signal on, who are you signaling to?
Great video,does this vary per state? I was told today not to signal after reverse.... My instructor's tell me gear,steer,signal,blindspot.I'm all confused.doing well,my 5th lesson so far.today I felt overwhelmed by a new instructor that I felt nervous.... Not good.
My instructor told me the same thing! Gear, steer then signal. I just follow whatever he says as I don’t want him to think I’m not following his instructions.

You forgot check after signal as part of the 3 steps. My driving instructor mentioned this it should be 4 steps.
Awesome !! Question: if I’m on my second move ( right signal) and a car comes, what should I do? The car is in the middle of the street when another car turns the block in my direction.
They have to wait and let you finish your 3 point turn

Hello Sir , I would like to clarify whether signalling after each step is necessary, my driving instructor told me to just signal left and then quickly and smoothly do the 3 point turn . As you mentioned in the 3 steps signally left , right and left . Please advise , I am confused .
Yes you do have to signal 4 times. Once, Right when moving the right curb, then Left for turning the wheel left, Then Right when backing up to the right, then Left again when moving to the road. So, total 4 times.
My Instructor wants me to do it more quickly. Is it possible to turn wheels first and then release brake i feel it more comfortable instead turning and releasing brake same time??
Yes! Anything is okay with the examiner. It is just that dry steering is not good for tires. Hope this helps. 👍🏻🙂

How much in degrees should we turn the wheel? I have a Hyundai car so the steering wheel is different in its rotations.
It is usually all the way in each direction.
Wouldn’t we fail for doing the maneuver too slow ?

You don’t have to but for the test you may want to just signal with everything

Never understood the initial signal until now.
How can we judge now its a point to stop and make reverse turn and then again let it straight?
When i am steering. Should my foot be off the break or on the break? I am trying to learn . One instructor said stear then release the break. he left the school the next one says stear but foot should not be on the break. Not sure which one i have to follow.
Ideally your foot should be off the brake because it keeps the tires from burning due to friction. The examiners don't really care how you do it. But that comes with practice. So if your test is near then do what works best for you.

I checked the blind spot and everything I was turning a little there was a car left side coming slowly and the examiner said u need to stop I didn’t get that

If i see a car coming at any time during my 3 point turn, do i stand and wait the car until that car passes or do they stop and wait for me? And if they do wait for me should i finish my 3 point turn or i shouldnt move at all until the other car is gone??

is it me or is he blocking that driveway when first pulling to the "curb" as the video instructor says make sure you aren't blocking a driveway,lol.
Lol! Are you referring to the driveway on the left or on the right?
@@TorontoDrivers the one hes pulling right in front of blocking the vehicle in the driveway at about 2:21 into the video obviously."lol".
@@Krisp138 Got it! Well, that is acceptable on the test and would not be called blocking the driveway because technically you are not going to stay there. You are just performing a short maneuver in front of it. This situation is common on drive tests. Keep in mind that they do not want you to use the driveway for extra space. :)
