I watched this video tutorial yesterday and I think that the three point turn is simple because all you’re doing is first turn on your left signal, then steer the wheel to left to move forward, steer the wheel to the right to park, and steer wheel to the left again to move forward to the directions you’re going to. Soon when I take my road test, I will know automatically what to do! Thanks for this video tips.

That was almost 23 years ago. I still can do a 3 point turn. It is pretty easy to do. I did it on my last vehicle that I had. I even can do it in my vehicle. It is very rare for me to do it.

Now I remember and I recall I actual did it really well especially under fearful circumstances such as a train passing by and no where to go so my drivers Ed teacher asked me if I would like to do a three point turn. Hesitant I said yes. And I remember I was so scared because of other cars but I let them know what I was doing and everything was fine.

today i just passed my permit and I'm too nervous for a road test but this gives me a good visualization on what the three point turn mean I thought it was something else but its actually a U turn
If i'm not mistaken,the beginning of the clip shows the driver manipulating the steering while stationary,before beginning the reverse part of the manoeuvre....i was taught not to turn the steering wheel until i was moving.
This is what I failed on my driving test today, im retaking the test on monday and hopefully I will pass. I never truly understood how to do a 3 point turn till this video thank youu

I'm kind of confused. When I do this with my instructor we do it by the entrance of a cemetery people a lot to people come there since it's empty so there's not really any curbs over there . There is curb behind me but I do the 3 point turn in the opposite direction of that makes sense and he tells me to turn the car completely to make sure it's straight on the first part but I noticed in the video the guy stops when he gets close to the curb so the car isn't straight and how do you know when to stop on the second part when you're reversing and do you have to look towards the back the entire time ?
I have my road test on Tuesday, ill keep y'all updated i genuinely hope this really works for me. It makes sense for sure, just gotta do once more to get it right

In massachusetts, always HAVE TO to look back when backup (step 2 of 3 points turn), always have to SIGNAL LEFT when return back to lane (step 3). I failed my test because of these.
