    I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago. I don't have an estimated time when it will ship yet. It's painful waiting :( Not too many RUclips videos out there on this bike yet other than official postings by Juiced or professional product reviewers that are given a bike to review. So thanks for posting this.

Which is crazy given it’s $3000 price. But it all worked out and I am happy with it. I was surprised by the size and weight of the bike. But it’s a lot of fun!

    How do the tires do on cold dry pavement? I’ve seen elsewhere that the tires can be dangerous, but then some people apparently, in warm climates think that they’re great.
    I’m thinking they’re probably OK when it’s warm out but get hard as a rock when it’s cold.

    Thanks for the review! There’s very few videos out there of this thing so it was nice to find yours. I think the only question I have is regarding build quality and components. Do you feel that the bike is built to a high standard?

    • @goodguy4405
      @goodguy4405  3 года назад +2

      Hello, the overall build quality is pretty good.. This bike is a tank. Having said that, this bike isn’t perfect. The tires and seat are the biggest cons about the bike. You will want to swap both sooner than later. The other components do their job. Can you get better components? Yes! But i’m in no hurry to swap them out. I will be upgrading components as they fail but I find them to be adequate for the time being.

      @@mattmcgowan9145 hi Matt, there is nothing physically wrong with the seat. The issue comes down to your own personal taste and comfort. For me, the seat is OK on short rides. It becomes very uncomfortable on longer rides to the point where I have to get off and rest my butt. I am in the process of finding a new seat to put on it because I am all about Comfort. Hi Jake, my apologies I forgot to mention the seat in the video. I would say the seat falls into the “con” list. On short rides it’s ok. On long rides it’s awful. I personally don’t think riding two up is ideal for this bike unless you had a small child. I’m 5’8” and when I sit on the bike my backside is about 2 to 3 inches from the end of the seat not enough room for a second rider in my opinion 👍

    First of all I consider buying that bike in December but I felt it wasn't a good thing to do because I currently paying for another bike I bought a year ago and I didn't want to be paying for 2 bikes at once. My question to you is there's a switch on the bike to switch to the other battery when one battery is low or not then do the batteries run in parallel and the run together as one.

    • @goodguy4405
      @goodguy4405  3 года назад +2

      Hello, they run parallel with each other. You can physically take one battery off and the bike will run on one battery.

  • @DanielLopes-jt8yl
    @DanielLopes-jt8yl 3 года назад +2

    Your overstating the mileage I have a hyper scorpion and am familiar with the battery. You have two while I have one with secondary 52v 30ah back up w/juiced duel battery connector/ switch. The only way you could get that mileage from the juiced pack is in Eco 1 and 2 watching not to go over 500watt. But no way anyone would ride the bike that slow 9-10-11 mph. The bike is made to run period. At least the hyper scorpion is, dam thing rocks! You can’t help but run it, it begs you to.

    • @goodguy4405
      @goodguy4405  3 года назад +2

      i’m not overstating mileage. However, i’m one that stays in eco 1 and 2 and i naturally pedal a lot (habit). I am planning on doing a race mode only video without peddling to see how many miles i get. i live in an area that has 100’s of miles of bike paths so i have no need to race around at 30 mph too many kids, dogs and ppl walking (not safe) i rode 67 miles and the only reason i had to stop was because the seat gets extremely uncomfortable. it wasn’t because of battery.. i could have gone another 30 and run the batteries down to zero. There’s so many variables that come into play when stating mileage temp, rider weight, speed, headwinds, incline ect. So i can only state what my experience has been. I don’t work for juiced so I have no reason to overstate mileage

      Same issue here. I wish I could just test ride one as they are made in San Diego (where I live) but Juiced isn't doing test rides because of COVID.
      Update: I bought the bike on Craigslist, so I was able to test ride before pulling the trigger. The height of it honestly isn't a problem at all. I am used to leaning to one side at stops while keeping my other foot on the pedal. If I ordered a shorter seat, I might be able to flat-foot it, but not a big priority at the moment. I got the Launch edition black, had 2 flats so far. I live in nyc so there's a lot of debris on the roads, 1 flat was a nail through the front, easy fix. Second was something sharp through the rear tire. The tire actually slid off the wheel and the tire bead cut through the electrical cables so I had to get those fixed.
      Besides that I've just passed 1200 miles and no issues yet. Great purchase and would buy it again. You'll enjoy yours. My suggestion is to do what I did after the flats, install tire liners, thick tubes and slime the tubes.

You definitely will want to order the fenders because you will be soaking wet due to the tires kicking up the water and dirt from the street
