    A friend of mine has the HS2, and I'm impressed with how well built and comfortable it is. Range? No problem!
    It is a curious decision to include a license plate holder, as this may even encourage police to stop a rider because it "has no plate". And like Tom Loughlin pointed out; if it has no VIN, you can't register it. If enforcement does clamp down and require registration, it will begin in California and NY.

      Definitely will be interesting to see who moves forward with enforcing registration requirements first. Until then, ride free! Thanks for watching.

    Awesome! Would love to see you do a too speed run man 🤘🏻
    Having owned a HS2, I agree with you on how solid and smooth it rides! Very comfy.
    I ended up liking the blinker setup so much that I ended up purchasing the entire lighting system/wiring along with the large 60t chainring (exclusive to the HS2 only) from Juiced to incorporate onto the grizzly.
    The hyperscorpion shares the same blinker setup aswell
    Another thing to note is that unlike the hyperscorpion, there is no rear passenger seat option for the HS2 only a rear rack

      Thanks Jamie! That'll be a sweet upgrade for your Grizzly. I believe they're now offering rear seats for the HyperScorpion! Those Scorpion bikes are amazing as well.

    I did do some research on a bike like this for NY State, and it's a "grey area" vehicle. Juiced is really trying to have it both ways here - building an electric moped complete with street-legal safety gear (signals, mirrors), while still adding gears and pedals to keep it a "bike." In NY, it's not an ebike because the motor is too large (maximum 750 watts), and yet you can't register it as a vehicle because it has no VIN. Other states may vary, and that's why the license plate holder is included. In NY, if this were an ICE moped, it could be registered, and you'd have to wear a DOT-approved motorcycle helmet while riding it. I would never ride this on any kind of bike path. Juiced is playing fast and loose by not offering a VIN for this model, IMHO. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

      Sounds like Juiced is prepared for the worst but hoping for the best! It will definitely be a grey area for a while until the powers that be make some decisions.

    I like this bike and was going to buy it but I couldn't convince myself to pay around $3800 (after taxes) for my first E-bike. I ended up buying from Ariel Rider but was so close to buying Lectric-XP or from Juiced Bikes

    02:07 If the horn is too loud, people will get paralyzed, and as a result - you'll smack right into them (at least what I've experienced).
    05:48 Yeah - pretty nice saddle there. But: how do you *height adjust* the damn thing?

    • @inGearAdventure
      @inGearAdventure  2 года назад

      Saddle adjustment is a bummer on most scrambler-style ebikes. Adjustments are almost non-existent. You can try adjusting rear suspension, getting an aftermarket seat, or putting a seat extender underneath. Non are ideal, but it's what we've got to work with!

  • @JayTwizzle

    Lol, so how long is a really long range?

    • @inGearAdventure
      @inGearAdventure  3 года назад

      Range is tricky. The main factors at play are speed, terrain, rider weight, and rider effort (how much pedaling you're doing). Pedaling alone can boost range 2-3x, all other things the same. The advertised range on the manufacturer's website is 100+ miles!

    • @inGearAdventure

      Each battery has an on/off button on the top!

    • @Altema22
      @Altema22 3 года назад

      Yep! It's a great trick too: Turn both batteries on and enjoy riding almost forever, or turn on one battery and use it up, then switch to the other. Then you have the option of using one battery and riding around while the other is charging, then swapping them in a few seconds. It's a great setup.

    Great video but your comparing this to ebikes like there going to be registered soon but this isn’t an ebike it would legally be an emoped and blinkers are useless for ebikes cause you don’t ride them on the road I just think that you shouldn’t be comparing this to an ebike that’s like comparing a mid drive motor to a chain driven direct drive motor their TOTALLY different but this was a great and informative experience and I’m exited to see the next one

      @@hellohannahjennings I ride mine in the road, on sidewalks, trails, and mountain bike trails too. It's all legal in my area, and as long as the e-bike is a legal class 1 or 2 and you stick with the rules, it is the same as a pedal bicycle.

    336 miles,brand new, I babyed this thing. Then all of a sudden the throttle starts to sputtering around 30mph, but the pedal assist still works and I start to get the #4 error. Before I get home the #30 errors pops up. I get hone look at all connections. Everything is perfect. I never got it wet, never jumped it, never abused it. So I keep trying it out in the driveway, hoping to get it working, but the pedal assist won't even work now, then I get the #12 error then I got nothing. No power no screen no headlight, just the brake light. I call support and they hung up on me three times lied to me and never helped me. The next day I went out to play around with it, and now it powers on but no throttle no assist and when I try to pedal it the screen flickers on and off. What fucking 🍋. I am homicidal after this. What nerve, DO LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU. For all who do know, This is a JUICED ebike hyperscrambler 2. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF SHIT!!
