- Meet the revamped T5z, now lighter, faster and more comfortable than ever. Ever since its inception, the Taylor T5z has enticed guitar players with its unique hybrid configuration, a hollowbody electric-acoustic featuring two humbuckers and an acoustic body sensor controlled by five-way switching. The result is a musical chameleon capable of spanning genres and styles at the flick of a switch, letting players move from high-octane electric tones to warm acoustic sounds and a rich mix of options in between the two. Now, we've upgraded the T5z design with player-focused touches such as a lightweight Urban Ash body, rounded body edges, and a smooth armrest on the upper edge that provides a comfortable surface for your picking arm. Together with its slender neck profile and jumbo frets, it all adds up to a singular musical experience that blends unmatched playability with a dazzling array of tonal possibilities. If you've never played a T5z before, there's never been a better time to give it a try at your local Taylor dealer.

THIS is how you sell a guitar. No useless blather, just Marc Seal ripping it up. Great job, guys!
Who would have thought it possible to get through a demo without the usual blues shred? Innovation in product and presentation! 👏👏
LET'S GOOOO! Gorgeous new look & sound! Marc Seal ripping' it!! Cannot wait to get my hands on these!!! ❤🔥
I am not even a guitarist but I will surely buy this this month; just because...
Nice video.
Guitar's sounds amazing as does the skills of the guitarist..
Very nice.. Respect!! 👍😎💜💭
If only I could afford such a beautifully crafted instrument. Someday probably
Cool video. Cool guitars. 😎
They should market this as a full hollowbody electric with hidden bridge humbucker and a body sensor for Taylor acoustic tones. Reminds me of Eastman’s Romeo model
I really want that blue one! I may have to sell my Strat!
Man that buzz
Heard it too
What was Taylor thinking? Moving the controls, eliminating the second F hole and losing the binding on the neck and headstock makes this new model look much cheaper than the earlier models.
I agree about the binding but disagree about the controls and F hole. I’d prefer it look more electric and give some acoustic tones rather than vice versa. To each his own.
The price is outrageous
❤
Is this guitar designed to play through an acoustic amp like the Bose or other line array types, or through a traditional electric amp?
🤩🙏
So are these still only the $3800 ones? Or are we getting updates on the $2000 ones too
is that marc seal playing? sure rocks these new model T5z's.
You know it!
The custom version is super affordable for an authentic Canadian Mountie Dentist like me 🇨🇦...
Why does the T5z have a concealed neck humbucker versus a visible one? Does the concealment of the neck pickup limit the ability of the T5z to produce full-bodied jazz tones?
It’s under the fretboard
What's up with blocking comments on the How To Restring A Guitar short? You ever use side cutters on my bridge pins I'll use them on some fingers.
so expensive so sad
This a guitar for a wealthy collector. I can't see someone buying their first good electric guitar and going for Taylor. With that kind of money you buy a PRS or a custom shop Les paul or lovely strat. When you have all of these and still feel the GAS, one of these would be a great addition.
Totally different animal..
