He would have been a great Peter Parker.
You know I was just sitting here thinking "I never realised how similiar he and Tom Holland are".
True
Kreed Zeln yes
I've been saying this forever. Michael J or a young Dennis Quaid.
He would have been an even better Marty Mcfly!
He didn't deserve what happened to him. He is still amazing though...Love his personality and his cuteness :)..
Jessy Jess what happened?
Dewan M Durnto, I guess Jessy Jess is talking about Parkinson's.
Dewan M Durnto He got Parkinson's at an early age.
@@pipsta I still think he was misdiagnosed, there is no official test for PD, he was at the peak of his prime and I think he all he needed was a break, he has been working back to back in those years and is still my fave actor to this date, I love that despite his condition now, he remains optimistic...♥
@@StephWinter1289 Yes I agree with you on that and think that his long hours of doing family ties and back to the future would obviously effect him but I think it may have decreased by this point. Instead it has increased and he has all the parkinsons symptons. Either way he's doing well and finding a cure, he will always be my favourite actor.
Before there was Leonardo DiCaprio - there was Michael J Fox.
True👌🏽👌🏽
Agreed !
I was just thinking about that!
Definitely. I had the biggest crush on him when I first watched Back to the Future.
Lola Robins what do you see in him
The kid just oozes charisma
He's not a kid anymore lmao but he really did have charisma and still does
+Pib Smablert What reason? He seems very cool.
bright lights big city
We paid $85 for video of Back to the Future. My 14 year old daughter really did dig him. Sad for that talent to be so handicapped right in mid-career.
He's Canadian ♥️❤️
Michael J. Fox has great comic timing, charming personality, great in Family Ties and Back to the Future.
SPIN CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would recognize that voice anywhere.
So would I. It still cracks
Yes its peter parker.
I don't know any other person as charming as Michael J Fox in interviews. I mean, just the fact that he says that he hated when guys around his age would ride a fancy car, and then he admits to getting one himself after! That's like effortlessly likeable. Still my favorite actor to date.
JiaKee99 how does being blatantly hypocritical make someone effortlessly likeable? I mean really...
Well I guess theres one in every bunch that doesnt like Mike like the guy or gal that commented, OP. bummer for them. Missing out on a great guy.
@@filmfangirls9163 yep, there's always one
I’m a little late but I feel like Rami Malek is equally charming
@@borhaptrash5454 your 1 minute to late
He has always been a cutie! So charismatic and charming. I wish him well. Hope they find a cure for Parkinson’s. He’s really struggled during these years. I have so much admiration for him. I pray for all people who have this disease 🙏🏽💜
For someone who has Parkinson's disease for 30 years plus, he appears to be coping quite well. Tracey and his children are rocks
Wow, I can't stop smiling. That's the power of Michael J Fox.
Melissa Ngai - No...that's the POWER of love lol 😉
Gia Marie I was about to comment that 😂
+Gia Marie you are my new god.
Great personality that guy!!!
Sameeee
if spider man was filmed in the 80s, michael would've made a great peter parker
Alongside Jack Nicholson as Green Goblin.
This dude was on top of the world in the 80's. True powerhouse
he still haves that voice tho
I know right! It's such a comforting voice, I myself think.
+Brian Arceo Yeah, I know, his voice hasn't changed one bit!
Yeah!! That's one of the things I love about him! His voice is amazing :)
Vampdiariesandpll Creations Exactly! One of those voices where if you're in the other room and the TV's on you hear it and you know who it is right from the start! Sort of happened to me. Some friends at bowling were arguing over who played Stuart Little, the argument went on for 3 weeks. I decided to settle it...I had forgotten who voiced Stuart and so I put in the VHS and as soon as Stuart started talking I knew it was Michael J. Fox! Which in the arguments both were wrong...lol. My one friend said it was the guy that played George in Back to the Future, the other said, yeah it's someone from Back to the Future, but it wasn't George, and then they said it was Tom Wilson. I knew neither were right.
He's still attractive I swear
I’m a 2000s kid but I wish I lived in the 80s 😭
Too 😭 but I'm also a german kid, that wishes to live in the USA... Sad live 🤣🤣😪
I feel you, bro! ✌
japared oakfield I was a 89 kid and I wish I grew up in the 80s 😆
It was such a great time! So thankful to have lived it 😍
Michael J. Fox Fan dein Kommentar ist zwar 5 Monate alt, aber heeyyy es gibt mehr Deutsche hier😂👊🏼
I have the biggest crush on young Michael J Fox!
Finally somone who is like me
Melody Pond same here!!
OMG SAME! In fact, Michael J. Fox was my very first celebrity crush AND his character Alex P. Keaton is pretty much the "type" I've gone for, for as long as I can remember.
Old Michael J Fox: Am I a joke to you?
Same here lmao
I watched Back To The Future and then it just clicked. Then I got curious of what else he had done before he made the trilogies, and now, here I am. After binge watching Family Ties I’m back on RUclips, looking at every interview I can 😂. It also has to do with the fact that’s he’s just such a nice guy, tho.
I can't get over how young he sounds at any age. It's adorable.
Back in good ol 1985.
leafyutube 1985!!!!!!!
Great scott!
The year I graduated high school. We all watched Back to the Future that summer.
Boris Becker defeated Kevin Curren in the final, 6-3, 6-7(4-7), 7-6(7-3), 6-4 to win the Gentlemen's Singles tennis title at the 1985 Wimbledon Championships. Becker became the first unseeded player and the first German to win the Wimbledon singles title, as well as the youngest ever male Grand Slam singles champion at 17 years, 7 months and 15 days. This latter record would eventually be broken by Michael Chang at the 1989 French Open.
1985!?
He's just awesome
The scene where they were talking about lady-friends was hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing.
The way he spun on back onto Carson, who then bought it back on him, was brilliant! 🤣
".. it kind of reminds me of Canada, it's got dirt all around it and trees that have been there for a while.. " :)
Good Canadian boy.
Audioquest56 eh
***** He exhibits the same jitteryness and constant motion which later evolved into Parkinson disease.
searchlight18 i know
+searchlight17 Good observation. It certainly looks like its starting up
+searchlight17 he did say when he was filming back to the future he knew about it but didnt say anything to anyone..he kinda went with the flow until it was fully diagnosed and was ready to tell people. if you watch back to the future you can tell some movements which he was trying to hide it.
he was my biggest childhood crush, and still is to this day.
I remember staying up late that night to watch this, and missing school the next day because i was so tired!
He's funny. I like his personality seems like a chill dude. I dig it.
"My house! My house!" So funny.
I love him, so gorgeous and I'm sadden that such a good soul has to suffer but I love him even more in how he doesn't let it affect him
Michael J. Fox is a lovely and lenient gentleman. It's no surprise to me that Parkinson's disease doesn't pull him down at all. I think a lot about how bright his eyes and teeth shine!
He is soooo addictingly charming, it’s killing me.
he never tries hard to be anything other than hinself & i love that so much about him!
All the people who disliked were Biff’s family
Heavily underrated comment : ¬ )
Daniel Hines haha
There is no dislike at all
And Eric Stoltzs family hehe
hahaha
I would have been even more awesome if he said his car went 88 backwards.
Why?
D Fens This would have been around the time Back to the Future came out, and in the movie, the Delorean needed to go up to 88 mph to travel through time.
So he'd get the first key in the Oasis, of course....
“Let’s see if you bastards can do 90” - back to the future 1985.
phototristan? Why would YOU be more awesome if he said that
He was so hot😍😍
Why? What do you see in him?
Lol his height is 1.65. My height was 1.65 in 8th grade when I was 13
Randy Valentine Jr I'm better looking than him
I was 2
Who? Johnny or Micheal?
My crush since I was born, so gorgeous!
I met him on the set of “Family ties” around 85’. Good guy
Oh wow u where very lucky
Martyyyyy....I have to tell you about the FUTUREEEEEEE..
Ouch...
@Marty McFly II There's that word again. "Heavy." Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?
What a great guy. I loved his movies and the 80s era.
And his massive hit TV show: Family Ties?
Welcome to the future everyone
+SubscribeForNoContent right....30 years later....sxit!
Damn he was very cute😍😍but..time flys so fast whyyyyyyyyy
He still looks fine to me.
+Carly Steffen. YESS
+Nina Morgan Ask God.........
+TOM ERWIN WE must learn to face time limits.
I drove Miss America as a limo driver in '85...and she went off on how much she dug MJFox. It was then I knew this guy might be small in size, but he was the big man in Hollywood!
He was so quick witted! Loved him as Alex.
He was a remarkable and lovely kid, just as he now is a remarkable and thoroughly decent man.
ohnny Carson i loved you man we all did ...
Recife Brazil south america...
I love his voice - Stuart Little.
He is so cute! I wasn't even born yet back then, but my dad is a big fan of Michael J. Fox, so I grew up watching his movies, and I had a huge crush on him, haha! Can't help but love this man, then and now.
@Rubber Side Down I’m 18 and I had a crush on him when I watched Back to the Future for the first time
Michael J. Fox is still my favorite actor. Even in 2017.
Even in 2020
Try 2021
Try 2022
How bout in 2022?
@@kevinburke6055 1. Michael J. Fox, 2. Mel Gibson, 3. Kurt Russel. Still #1.
I watched this when it originally aired, and I think of it every time I look at real estate.
Oh gawd, I ADORE him.
+TheLittlegranger Totally agree :)
I miss that MJ Fox from that era
+Alfa Won Still the same guy now!
+Alfa Won If your saying you miss him when he was that young...fine. If your saying you miss him due to his current diagnosis. Then you should be ashamed of yourself. He is no different than before. Still and always will be.
+Fat Paris Yup!
+Alfa Won weird, last few interviews I have seen I found him to be JUST the same.
Seems like his Parkinsons comes and goes. Especially when he was acting on the Jimmy Kimmel skit he seemed fine. Maybe when he can rehearse his lines in advance hes ok ?
I don't care what anyone says...Teen Wolf is a classic.
Roger Wissinger I wanted Michael J. Fox to be in the sequel.
One of my favorite movies by Michael J. Fox...But I loved them all.
I'm so mad michael j fox never played spiderman. I feel the same way about jack nicholson and wolverine.
Tobey marguire is ok then
Nicholson played a werewolf, at least.
Michael J. Fox as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Jack Nicholson as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin.
First of all, I'm 60 now. I was 25 then. OMG. I'm so pleased to see that Michael has fought such a strong battle and managed to remain active and in control of his illness. Life is truly Not a fair place. He was a young actor that got famous and Rich very early on. And was always wise and sensible. Never heard any negative stories about his involvement with drugs or getting in trouble. And he gets hit with this horrible illness. I don't think he made a film that I didn't love. His Back to the Future series is by far In my list of top 5 most enjoyable films. Kind of cool he only lived. A few miles from where I Grew up.
I saw an interview with him recently. He was promoting his new book. It's wonderful! He's used his circumstances to get ahead. People can learn a lot from his attitude.
@@jenpeterson3712 I'm pleased to see that you saw him doing an interview recently. Do you remember who it was with I may be able to find it on RUclips I haven't seen him on TV for quite some time. Something that I didn't mention which is a fun memory is I met him at a party my neighbours were having. I don't remember if he had started the sitcom or not but he was famous to some degree because we were all very excited he was there but trying to chill out and let him do his thing. He really was very cute. LOL he just spent the night hanging with the guys talking about hockey and rock music smoking cigarettes and drinking beer. Just your typical 20 year old Canadian young man. Very unassuming with a great laugh. Sorry to go on a nice memory to share especially in the middle of this pandemic. Take care.
@@jenpeterson3712 Indeed, yes.
My, where have all the years gone? MJF so young with the world at his feet!
+Luigicamp 24 is still young af
An amazing guy. That's always been constant with him
That's a flashback there. I was in the audience for this one. Driving in I was actually window to window with Johnny for a few seconds, who drove his De lorean that night..which is strange in itself considering this was around the time of that huge Scandal he was implicated in. Weird looking back now. Thanks.
Anybody know if he was promoting Back to the Future for this interview? Seems like the right year.
April 16, 2021 ... and there are 84 people who don't like this video. Okkkk. ... Please travel in a group & stay far away from other people.
Carson is such a gentleman! We need more hosts like him ❤️
Yes he was. Always had fun with his guests and didn't try to dominate them. He was an excellent tv host
Asking about his relationship status isn't very gentlemanly.
Yes we do that kimmel guy is horrible. Carson is a legend!!
Carson was an ICON! The talk show hosts of today all Left-Wing, Liberal Democrats that don’t possess one ounce of Integrity! However, Conan O’Brien is the one exception!
omg how adorable was he!!!!!!!!
MANNNNNN hes soo cute when he tries to change the subject! SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!! I TELL YAA
bellebeau tobias
hormones lol
Michael J. was a Fox! 😍
"You want me to make a donation to the coast guard youth auxiliary."
He was so adorable.
Should've put up the first part of the interview, but I guess that would make too much sense.
Lol you made my day
At the end... "Did you see Wimbledon, that Becker kid..." That's how old this tape is.
Michael is very quick, clever and entertaining!
Michael J Fox is so adorable.
He's still adorable.
he seems like a real nice and down to earth human being, it sucks that he got diagnosed with parkinsons at such a young age, i wish he could"ve starred in many more roles, may God bless his soul
Love him ❤️
I love Michael J. Fox. He’s one of those ever-positive and inspiring people while always being - and playing - the average guy who rises above even with all his human imperfections. He never lost any of his cool or wit - or wisdom - despite the devastating rare disease that befell him...case in point, playing Dr. Kevin Casey on ‘Scrubs.’ An inspiring character who was also extremely funny in an intelligent way, and who, despite his own debilitating disorder - he has OCD - manages to selflessly help all the other characters with their problems. This is Michael J. Fox. My favorite Dr. Kevin Casey quote (which you just know is Michael’s own): “If it seems like your mind keeps throwing up roadblocks, just know it’s ok to drive right through them.”
After all this time, Michael J. Fox is still cute as hell.
I think he is too. I just try to look beyond his Parkinson's disease and see him
I love him so much UGH he's so amazing. What a dream!
MJF was a one in a billion actor
He's so cute!!!
He was talking about Nancy M. the actress who played Jo in The facts of life.
At this time, he and Nancy McKeon (Jo from The Facts of Life) dated for 3 years.
I'm from japanese. Japan has a lot of wonderful culture. but wish i was born in American. Lately, I've been into Hollywood movies. Back to the Future is my favorite movie. Marty McFly is such a charming man that every night when I go to sleep I keep looking for him in my dreams.
I remember seeing this live when it aired! WOOOW, does that take ME back! I remember the part about the sports car and the sitting in the chair in his (new to him) house. Michael's easy going nature and great comedic timing really helped him a lot when he did interviews.
Handsome Michael J. Fox. He exuded profuse charm. The epitome of the wholesomely fresh boy next door. Really liked all of the Back to the Future films. Very original films and screen roles. Enjoyed Family Ties immensely.
this makes me sad. at least he got a wonderful woman
Michael j fox is one of my favorite actors, he is so great at what he does in anything !
If there was a spiderman live action franchise like Tom Hollands, Tobey Maguires, and Andrew Garfields in the 1980s Michael J Fix would be a suitable role
This guy would’ve killed it as Spider-Man
I know it. I sure miss those years. 1980-85
Michael is a treasure. A legend.
He is just an actor dude. No accomplishments whatsoever
He still is. :)
I saw "Back to the Future" in 1989 in the GDR, right after the fall of the Berlin Wall. And I was immediately thrilled, to this day. All the best dear Michael and stay strong!
Michael was so beautiful
He is so so adorable 🥰
Damn! Who could guess he was 24 at this interview? Looks like a high school kid.
Dang he's just really too much at his handsomeness
It's so odd, when he's in character as McFly he has the manner of a 30 year old guy.
Out of character he really is like a kid.
Mr. Fox, has more talent then leo.
Tom Holland really sounds like a young Micheal J Fox when does an American accent
where can i watch the full intreview of him? or this full episode.???
tired to find it and can't :(
That's what I'd like to know. Perhaps get onto the Johnny Carson's page. He was a great host. I've found a couple of other interviews with him and Michael j Fox
had no Idea all these years he was Canadian....interesting....don't matter though...we love ya
Michael J Fox and Johnny Carson had great chemistry together. It put a smile on my face. 😊
This aired 1985 and i had our daughter in 1982! Good old days! Now iam a grandmother! 👵👴 with 2 grandsons! 😃 time fly's⏰⌚⏳⌛📺📻
He reminds me of a young Emile Hirsch
who sits the whole time with their leg up like that. so 80s
He still sits like that in every interview!
Karla Torres It's because of his Parkinson's.
I do 🤔..
@@pipsta not at that stage in his life. Too early
michael j. fox is the best!
Who was the mystery lady? Nancy McKeon I’m guessing.
"that Becker kid"... MAN I AM SO OLD
That was great! 😁 Such a great personality!
I don't know who this little kid is, but he'll never amount to anything in the entertainment business. NEXT!
Sarcasm? "Michael J. Fox makes his first appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" in 1985. " Back to The Future.
Dane Opliger obviously sarcasm
Dane Opliger Yeah...you caught me.
No Mcfly has ever amounted to any thing in the history of Hill Valley!
The Verbally Abusive Clown
Actually you were originally right but he got hold of a time machine and changed history. I hear it originally starred Eric Stolz. We just don't remember it because well, you know, history changed. Oh, and he stole the Teen Wolf role from Rick Shroeder. Who knows what else he changed in film history, the meddling bastard!
