Congratulations!!! Nice to see that you got the opportunity to review this wheel. Your work is paying off :D
Thanks mate. It's such an awesome wheel and being honest pays off. Learning with each review and with each new video.
Having had the opportunity to hold this wheel, I would confirm that the grips are fantastic.
Thx King. It feels so great in hand.
Good to see the channel grow my friend
Thanks man and it's because of people like you. I appreciate you all for joining me on this silly ride. Lol
Nice to hear that i'm not the only one who feel some grip next to the thumbs. It hurt me a little during two weeks, even with gloves.
I already got the omega one, and i will stick to it, great stuff.
You'r crazy buying the both wheels 😁
Yeah I'm I have heard that. When I first started using the ONE I noticed a lil, but I changed my grip to be looser and I am good. I was coming from the Cube Controls where there was no grip at all. So makes sense. With this, I am in GRIP heaven. Thanks to BST for the discount and allowing me the opportunity. It's such an amazing wheel. Going to sell the ONE and use the Pro more.
Thanks for the video! Would this Pit Stop software be compatible with other wheels other than the Pro? I have the "Stern" edition. Thanks in advance!
Most welcome. It currently only works for the Pro wheel. Does not work with the Omega ONE. Hope this helps.
Good review 👍
I tested this wheel at the sim racing expo.
Will buy it next year (first have to buy my asetek wheelbase and new rig) 😂
Thanks mate. Appreciate you checking it out.
Wheel is amazing and glad I was blessed enough to have it. Totally going to keep and sell my Omega One. Nice choices. Which NM strength are you going with? Which Rig? Why Asetek?
@@grayzedynamics i tested some different wheelbases at the expo and the asetek was the best for me. I will go for the forte (18Nm).
As for my rig, I will buy the trak racer trx. I like that you can easely switch between gt and f1 position. And it looks very nice 😋
Keep up the good work 👊
Nice. Thanks for the feedback. Enjoy the wheelbase and be careful with rigs that change. Can be some inherent flex in them.
@@demechelsegamecat6518 did you compare it with Simucube 2 Pro?! What are the diferences?!
Bro!, I live vicariously through you with the wheels you have and get your hands on! thanks for thoughts on both versions hahahahahahahahah
Bro keep coming. I will give you what you need. Consider me your drug man. Hahahahaha. Thanks for the support tho. Much appreciated. The wheel is great and honestly just what I wanted.
Great wheel! Why do the first 5 LEDs not light up during the rev cycle? Is that just the profile you chose?
It's just running the Bavarian Simtec profile. Which mimics an F1 Car. Going to change it to match the real cars. Just takes so much to port it all over.
bought the Pro using ur Link! really nice review im really excited to get my piece! Greetings from Germany!
Hey Mate. Thank you so much. You will definitely love it. The grips are absolutely amazing. Make sure you download the simhub profiles off of the discord page too. If you have any problems. Let me know. I'll help as much as I can. 👍🏾
@@grayzedynamics thanks man. Will let you know if i got any questions.
Very very beautifull wheel
Great Review ❤
Wheel is amazing and thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it.
I’m definitely buying the pro version. I’ve been using the G29 and recently bought a G920 to use on Le Mans ultimate and they are great wheels, very responsive and good FFB. But this F1 style wheel is definitely the one I’ll be purchasing next.
Nice. It is definitely a great wheel for sure. One of my favorite wheels of all time. What wheelbase are you going to upgrade to? Don't think the G920 would work on this wheel. 👍🏾
@@grayzedynamics I was going to ask you about the wheel bases too 😆 got caught up with work. So what other wheel bases are compatible with the Pro wheel???? They seem a little more pricey in the bavariansimtech shop 😆 so I’m hoping I can save some money on a slightly cheaper wheel base.
@hollywoodkid9195 always here to help. well that all depends on your budget to be honest. They come in at various price points. What’s your total budget for a wheel base. Where will you be mounting it? Desk, profile rig or foldable. You can always hit me up on discord too. Can walk you thru the different options.
@@grayzedynamics I’m thinking about 3 to 500 would be my budget. And as for my Logitech pedals. Would those be compatible with the base???
@@grayzedynamics I didn’t see the rest of the reply lol I just got discord the other day 😆
Hello mate, great video. Did you ever look into the GSI Hyper P1 at any point?
I for sure did. I will hopefully have that at the end of the year too. I live them both. This is my favorite but the P1 is a close second.
@@grayzedynamics that’s good to know, I look forward to seeing that. I’m very close to pulling the trigger on the Pro I can’t lie
Love my pro and doing the Dan Suzuki mod for my NRG QR. To now use it wirelessly.
Now that sounds interesting. I’m planning on switching out my CSL DD for a Alpha and getting this wheel along with a another round wheel so I’m not sure if that mod will be available for me but I’m definitely interested in the possibility of it!
Nice. Make sure you get the $50 off by using my link. The mod is simple. Just requires ordering both pcb's. I will share a video on the QR and how easy it is to set up.
I miss my. Simtec so bad 😢 I really need to get the pro!
You definitely pressured me to support you also high bills pressured me to need that 3% discount lol but I will definitely be using it.😊
Glad you are here to support. And honestly, the Pro is AMAZING. The grips alone make it my favorite wheel. The ONE is great but the grips are the best part on the PRO. All the extras are great but dude, the GRIPS make it epic. This will NEVER be sold. I am excited to see what else they have in store because if it’s got these grips. Count me in on the next one.
DO IT!!!
Hi. I own the wheel and yes, it's good. But there are also a few things that I personally don't like:
1. I do not like the Grayhill encoders. They are too difficult to use. These are too stiff and the control buttons are too angular.I do not use them at all. This probably works better with gloves. I do not use gloves.
2. The grips are good. But the knuckles of your thumbs tend to hit the angular aluminum body when you turn in a lot. That hurts over time.
3. I wish the non-Grayhill encoders were unlabeled. The numbers 1 to 10 are printed but the encoders have 12 positions. This isn't a problem since only the direction of rotation is recorded anyway, but it just disrupts the otherwise perfect design.
Please don't misunderstand: the BST Pro is a great wheel. And the things mentioned may only bother me personally. But I think things like this shouldn't be kept quiet.
Hey Alex. I think with all wheels, our opinions matter, and the feedback we share is important. BST does a good job with taking the feedback to improve their products so it should be shared for sure. The Grayhills are quite stiff and they can be hard to turn. I rather like them stiff but don't use them as much as others. I set them for things like BB and abs where I want one movement. I did mention that some were getting rubbing with their thumbs, not something I have experienced but with the wheel I tend to hold more relaxed since I had the ONE. I got more of the rubbing on the ONE. But I think a few others did point that out. The numbers on the encoders aren't anything I've thought of to be honest but I get IT, it's more of an asthetic thing. Good points Alex.
I would buy one today if the size was right for formula one. At 300mm this wheel has the size of GT3. Needed to be at 280mm for Formula 1.
I too think 290 is the sweet spot but once you hold it, it feels great. If you want a wheel just for formula 1 tho nid recommend the LEOXZ. It's 275 I believe but is perfect for just F1. This wheel is far more versatile and I'll be using it for F1 2023 here soon.
@@grayzedynamics I was totally downs for the Leon if it had at least 4 thumb encoders. I may bite the bullet and buy the V-PF1 PRO. 300mm I have the Grid by Simalabs Porsche RSR wheel on order and for 290mm I have the simagic FX Pro which is perfect for hypercar like Porsche 963 or any other prototype LMP car. I really need a 280 cause that’s what they use in Formula 1 nowadays
@PainDive1 I feel ya. Not many 280 wheels. But totally makes sense. So many sweet wheels out there. This wheel is awesome. Sold a bunch and excited about this one.
@@grayzedynamics I like that one the most except the size is not right for what I need : (
I hear ya. Let me know what you end up getting.
Premium looking wheel for sure.
Yes. For sure. Feels great and honestly with the ones I have. I am happy and content. For at least a few months. Hahaha
I can't hear you very well even at 75% volume
Really. I went back and watched the video. Hoping this is sarcasm. Lol
Holy cow this wheel is expensive
Yes. And worth every penny...
