Glad to see you checking out new gear! I recently switched from the DD2 to a SC2Pro and then ordered a GSI Hyper P1 as a bit of a splurge. The wheel won't be here for a couple months yet, so I am living vicariously through your gear! Looks great!
Hahahaha. Yeah I am looking to get pro as well. I got you dude. Lol. I also will want the Hyper as well. Think I'm gonna just have the 2 and be done.
Wow, that's a seriously impressive piece of kit. Layout looks almost identical to the Mercedes F1 wheel - no problems basing it off the best! Great review man, glad I clicked on this. Thanks for sharing!
Most welcome. Yeah the setup is nice. Wheel was a great upgrade. I love it. Hoping to get the Pro and possibly sell this one.
underrated channel.
Thanks mate.... I appreciate the kind words.
Really nice review! Thank you. The quality of this wheel looks to be insane and very happy that their customer service is great as well. It's not cheap, but when compared to current prices of say the Cube Controls, it is actually pretty damn good again!
Thank you very much. I appreciate it. The quality is amazing. The service is even better and they meet deadlines and that is my big thing. Exceeding my expectations on such a higher level. My Cube Controls F-Pro is cheaper but the CSX is in the same price range. I am thoroughly impressed. I would recommend this wheel over quite a few. Especially since I am paying for these on my own. Lol
@@grayzedynamics 😅 definitely putting your money where your mouth is haha. I saw these before a little while ago but couldn't find much on them, so when your video popped up I was curious to say the least. You went into a lot of detail and answered and I wanted to know. I think this wheel (and their illuminated version) tick all the boxes for me...Thanks once again! Subscribed :)
Thanks for the sub. Yeah I was curious and when I saw I can use PayPal and pay monthly I was sold. Hahaha. They tick all the boxes I want, now I just want the pro for the illuminated lights. Once it’s out, I will likely upgrade. The wheel is wonderful and worth every penny.
@@grayzedynamics should be worth doing a follow up video when you have that, probably a shorter one (and explain to viewers that for a fully comprehensive reviews + longer chat to check out this one). Definitely won't hurt your youtube stats! :)
Yup. Totally will do. Since many of the updates will be the same.
Great review and love the look of this wheel!
I’m waiting for the Pro model to come out to decide if I want to treat myself to that or a GSI P1.
Happy to have found your channel and really appreciate this video!
Thanks man. Much appreciated. I'll have the review of the Pro, so just be patient and I'll give you some feedback. The Hyper is amazing. I will eventually have that as well. And I also want the X-29. I may get that first, but I am going to wait until those are readily available in stock. I already hate waiting and, if I could have waited, I would have just gotten the Pro.
Keep your eyes peeled for it hopefully in the next month or so. 👍🏾
So. I've been in Sim racing for about a year & half too. & I'm just about to make the jump from CSL elite to SC2 pro.& The hardest thing is finding what wheel.& I was thinking well if I go over the $900 point I will get the perfect wheel. Man was in wrong there's a but with every wheel. It nice to hear someone else say the same thing.good luck with the wheel.
Yeah. I am looking to jump from my Moza to either the SC2 PRO or the VRS. Just watched Wills review of the updated wheelbase. I could save quite a few pennies and I think I will go with VRS. As for the wheel it is great and as you know. Nothing is "perfect" just good enough. Lol.
Although honestly this is my favorite wheel so far. Even over the GSI Formula Pro Elite. I just want the Omega Pro now. We are both in the same boat. Good luck and see you on track.
@@grayzedynamics I was really thinking about the VRS but their software is far behind simucube & simucube support is 2nd to non from all I have read.but really can't go wrong with either.& You got some sweet wheel. Nice work
Very, very nice looking wheel and great explanation of how it works.
Thanks man. It is a sweet wheel
Good morning amazing video after watching it which was the first time I heard about the rim I have decided to go ahead and buy one to add to my DD1
I will upgrade my base in the future as I am happy with it for now and rather invest the money in this amazing rim
Emailed the guys in Bavarian simtec last night klaus already replied (amazing communications) will place my order today
As you say we should support up and coming brand
Ali
Awesome. They are such an amazing brand and company. I really have become a fanboy of sorts. lol. I have to hold back my excitement when talking about them. Similar to how people are with GSI. Honestly, what makes them great is they are always there to help and assist. They make great products and support the consumer. Make sure to check out the videos on twitch. Watch them build similar to GSI.
I think this is the wheel I've been looking for.
It is a great wheel and I had the ONE and now have the Pro. I love it. The Pro has the best grips I have ever used, LED's everywhere, encoders and all the features you would want.
Dat's FREAKIN' badass! I has a gpu called Red Devil...I highly recommen thin gloves to preserve new condition!
Yeah. The wheel is great. You have the AMD red devil? I have a set of Morad gloves. 2 pair to be exact. Lol
Have you looked at simagic? I decided on a simagic alpha U cause some reviewers said the quality of the feedback is almost identical to simucube 2 pro, plus the simagic quick release is same as Moza.
I actually was in the market to get a Simagic. My only gripe was the cost. The cost per nm for the VRS was simply cheaper and for me that was the final factor. I think Simagic is awesome. I just couldn't afford the price for the base I wanted. $799 for 20nm was the sweet spot really.
@@grayzedynamics I understand, but if you compare simagic to simucube in terms of price it’s much cheaper and the quality I will say it’s better same or better with a much better quick release
Yeah those 2 are really good. I think we are in a great day where we all have so many choices to choose from. Good days are ahead my friend.
I would consider splurging on the Hyper + S2 Pro. It bugs me that it’s curly wired and has a crappy QR.
Is there a wireless workaround?
Well I am not sure about the Hyper from GSI. But if you are looking to get the Bavarian Simtec with an Asetek base, it can be run completely wireless.
You would purchase a QR from Bavarian Simtec and the wheel and they would attach to the wheel for you and you could run without wires.
As of right now their is no wireless solution like Bluetooth.
Hi, little question: What is the code in simhub for the flashlight. The leds worked when I push the button but when I release it they turns also off. I want that they blink for around 3 sec like in your video. Thanks and race on!🙏🏽
I am likely running the LED profile from YOEP. I have simply used his 3-15-3 profile for the Mercedes car.

Its a very nice wheel but personally, Im waiting for the Ascher McLaren wheel (Q3/2023)
I saw that as well. Then I watched the video of the latest one. However, great choices are coming to the sim world. The Mclaren wheel looks very nice. This one just stuck out as the best option. When you get it, make sure to post a video.
@@grayzedynamics Its a great Wheel. Thanks for your video 👍🏻👍🏻 Im waiting for more videos.
Thanks. Lots of great stuff coming.
Looks dope bro, enjoy!
Thanks David. It's freaking sweet.
Great video man thank you!! i wish you could’ve compared the weight to the CC F-Pro!!
Thanks Sully. Truly didn't think of that. I could find out for you tho if that's something you'd like to know.
@@grayzedynamics no need man and thanks again ! I’m looking to get a wheel with LCD screen and currently have the F-pro. For me it’s between bavariansimtec omega pro, Cube controls CX3 or GTX2, GSI hyper P1, or Ascher Mclaren wheel!! Too many options 🤯🤯
Tons of options out there. I am a new and huge fan of the Omega One. Grips kill me on the F-Pro so I'd rule out the CSX. Hyper P1 will be out next year. 😂. I watched a review of the new Asher whee vs Cube Controls and that had me pause on what to expect from the Asher Mclaren wheel. Plus many of the others aren't available to test so here I am and glad I got the Simtec wheel. Selling my cube wheel as we speak. Lol. Good luck.
Hey man, great review! I do have a question for u.
How does the buttons/rotary encoders feel compared to the cube control f pro? I have a cube control myself and personally i love how they feel. Super tactile and sturdy. I sure hope they feel the same 😅
Anyway thanks in advanced!
Honestly I think the rotaries feel just as good as the F-Pro. Buttons feel just a good but I do wish I had the backlit buttons. The size difference is different as it is 300mm but it works for both GT and Open wheel. I don’t think you will go wrong with the Simtec wheel. Grips are better but still harder than I’d like. With gloves you won’t notice but they do have texture on the rubber grips so much more grippy. Thumb encoders feel amazing and you have an extra set so win win.
I do miss my f-pro too. Just wish they had better grips. My next wheel will likely be the X-29 from GSI. All the same with much better grips.
Please One video with configuration SIM hub.. running with Dash SIM hub
I'll upload something in a day for ya. No problem I got ya.
Hi. Thanks for review! Is it worth to pay extra money for PRO version?
I will have the pro here soon to review. I would say yes but it all depends on what you are looking for in a wheel.
How do you feel about the 4" display? I have a CSX2 and prefer the 4.3" display. I wasn't a fan of Cube Controls going to 4" on the CSX3.
Honestly I don't think it would make a huge difference. Being that I sit in the GT position I glance down to see and it is bright and vibrant. I think for what you get, the total package is amazing.
Beautiful wheel man😍
Thanks man. When it came in I literally pinched myself.
Hi is there any issues when using the touch screen while wearing gloves?
Just depends on the gloves. The Morad gloves aren’t good for touch screens as they don’t have the touch fabric on the fingers. My other gloves with it work fine. So it really just depends on the gloves you use.
I appreciate your content, man... What is your sim of choice?
I'd say iracing for all the races and content. I've tried them all and iracing is where I come back to. Some of the other sims have great elements, but iracing just puts it all in a nice package. What about you?
@@grayzedynamics I've been contemplating on whether or not I should take that plunge into iracing but I think I'm getting closer to pulling that trigger everyday. I really just dove into sim racing about a year and a half to two years ago and I can't get enough. Most of my time is split between the F1 series, AC, and AMS2. Mainly I have been racing AI and with friends but now that I've gotten my confidence up I'm jumping into online lobbies and loving it. (when it's clean lol)
I would warn you that it's very expensive. It's tons of fun but can be costly. You pay per track and car. And of course the yearly membership. It's worth it as you buy content. Plus the race setup and lobbies are much easier then anything. AC and ACC are great. The F1 series is okay for consoles in my opinion and single player. I think overall you will like it. If you ever want to race or join a team when you are ready. Hit me up on discord. 👍🏾. Race fast and clean
@@grayzedynamics Thanks for the insight, i will definitely catch you on discord. Appreciate ya my dude
Most welcome. Hope to see you on track.
Looking to get this wheel as well, is the bavarian simtec logo on top of the wheel is removable? It looks kinda bold to me
Honestly I haven't tried to take it off. I would presume it cannot be removed. I would check but I am out of town. I do not believe it is a sticker. I honestly like it but when racing don't notice it at all. Lol
@@grayzedynamics thanks mate, I appreciate your reviews, you got me to purchase Leoxz and now this 😅.. is the software has been improve since your last review? Cheers mate
Glad I could help. Did you get the LEOXZ Pro? I believe the pro uses Simhub. The software for the Simtec wheel is simple but they do have updates coming. Just hasn't launched yet. Although I've got the clutches working perfectly.
Is compatibile with simhub Dash?
Yes. I am running the YOEP dash's and led lights profile. 3-15-3
Strange you can’t calibrate the clutches yourself in their software
No software just yet. You can calibrate on screen just not bite point.
Hello,
It would be necessary to have it in the hands to really judge but aesthetically I find that it is a little "plastic" and lacks a little finesse. The frame of the screen is not very successful in my opinion.
I quite clearly prefer the CSX3 from Cube Controls.
The CSX3 has a big flaw like the F-Pro certainly, it's the slippery handles.
Thank you for the video.
I do like the look of the CSX. However I can saw that the Simtec wheel is top notch. If you were to hold in hand, you would see that the Cube controls looks more like a toy compared to the Simtec wheel. I think they are both good wheels, but after having the F-Pro and seeing the CSX3, it is truly a great wheel the Red Devil. The grips are better on the Simtec wheel, still kind of hard but better than the Cube controls. It's all subjective this as without holding like you ststed hard to tell. Honestly if the F-Pro had GSI type grips. Never would have sold. However, so glad I have the Red Devil.
The Omega Pro will be even better.
you say the multiswitches arw optional but on their website its standard and you dont have the buttons option?
At the time they were optional, they have since made them standard. They also made a few minor updates since I have purchased mine.
