I have to say, you’re unlike most Americans I’ve met! I love how you go to the local spots and seem so at ease doing it. Your appreciation of Nepali food and people comes across so clearly. Having fun reliving my adolescence through your videos!

LIVING BEING IS OUR RACE, MANKIND IS OUR RELIGION, HINDU,MUSLIM,SIKH,CHRISTAIN, THERE IS NO SEPARATE RELIGION
ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR is the father of all souls that JESUS, MOHAMMAD, GURU NANAK, VEDH was telling in BIBLE, QURAN, GURU GRANTHA SAHEB
.. In OLD Orthodox Jewish Bible KABIR is mentioned...KABIR means (GREAT or MIGHTY GOD) in hebrew...but when translated in different languages translator removed KABIR word
Quran written in arabic has also KABIR word....KABIR means THE GREAT in arabic.
In vedh also KABIR is mentioned....
GURU NANAK himself described that LORD KABIR is his Guru and Lord KABIR met him..and in GURU GRANTHA SAHEB Guru Nanak called Lord kabir as kartar (GOD)
Just by reading holy books it is impossible to get depth knowledge of Holy text because we are just a living beings.. In vedhas also KABIR is mentioned...our brain isnot capable and doesnot understands the secrets behind the words and world.....GURU NANAK, JESUS AND MOHAMMAD were aware of LORD KABIR but later followers were not able to get depth knowledge

12:01 the lentil pancake you had is called Bara in Nepali and Wo in Newari. is topped mince buffalo meat and /or egg. and the soybeans you do not sprinkled on top. Anyway good to see you are exploring and trying Nepalese food. Hope you have a lovely time in Nepal and once again well appreciated your love for Nepal, our people & food. That Sweet shop in Patan you went to , is one of the oldest Newari sweet shop in Patan. Lakhamari one of my favorite sweet, as they said mainly used in wedding, and festival like Tihar . That triangular shaped thing which you said giant Nacho is called Nimki, it is a savory, slightly salted deep fried made with flour and butter.

As a Nepalese who lives in the United States, I would say I would be thankful too if i got that kind of hospitality in the US. The main reason being our culture has a foundation based upon a slogan called, "Atithi debo bhawa" which literally means, guests are like gods and treat them with your full respect and kindness. In the modern streets of US, where people are afraid of crimes and drugs, Nepal is a beautiful place to visit, where people are warm and welcoming. Although it's too sad that politics is dirt at its worst, it would be a lovely place to visit. Try visiting Mustang, it's the place even most Nepalese want to visit.
