I am so excited that you are back in Nepal. This country is one of my favorites as well. I did the Langtang Valley trek and took a helicopter to Mt Everest during my stay. You are so right about the Nepali people…they are so nice. I can’t wait to come back next year. Looking forward to your adventures while in Nepal. One of my favorite restaurant’s in Thamel was OR2K. IFf you like Mediterranean food…you will like this place.

We Nepalese will do our best to make sure you get the best local treatment with delicous food, great mountain views, and this is the best time to visit mountains ! Make sure you take a lot of videos as we all are waiting.

Yeah if it’s your favorite country, give up your original citizenship, get a Nepalese citizenship and live here for 2-5 years! Then you will say, I don’t wanna live this shit hole😂 of a 3000th world country( not a 3rd world country, 3rd world countries are far better than this hole). Laws suck, government corrupt, and people old fashioned! If you have lots of money, you can live like a king here, but if you have average amount of money, you can’t even afford a goddam car, you know the tax for a vehicle here is 250%+, so an average car costing $20k US, would cost $100k plus in Nepal! For example Tesla costs about $60k+ but here it costs, $240k+, you could be-rich here but you can only afford cars like Hyundai and Toyota (their lower end cars).Your will get an average job here with monthly salary ranging from $140 to $350, if you do end up earning big, it will be about $500 to $1200(monthly not weekly).
And don’t get me started about medical facilities, people can’t afford to pay insurance fees regularly, so very few are insured, the cost of medical services is low compared to western countries but the hospitals suck, they are dirty, poorly maintained. Few private hospitals are somewhat okay, but cost a lot more than government ones! Not a single high profile person, like Ministers ,Prime minister, president and so on, get treatment here, they travel to countries like Singapore, US and other European countries for treatment. No matter how much they praise that medical services here are good, they don’t put their faith in hospitals here!
Lets talk about Education system here, it’s all about what you can remember and write in exams! They don’t give a shit about your actual skill development, all they care here is about how much you score in your exams! Most schools are poorly maintained, teachers here are mostly under qualified, trust me anyone with a decent qualification is either in Australia or in the US as a assistant professor, waiting to be an actual professor in a decent environment! Dress code is strict, you get beat up if you don’t trim your stupid hair! Some high schools don’t even let students attend exams, if they have hair longer than a few inches or so. That’s my personal experience from a high school called KMC(Kathmandu Model College), it was about 7 years ago, I was going to attend my chemistry practical board exam, and they sent me to a hair salon to cut my hair as it was a few inches longer than the permitted length, as I did not have any time to waste on trimming my stupid hair while I was studying for my board exams! Another one is my cousins experience, from his school called United academy, he was beaten their for his slightly fitting clothes. Yes these high schools prefer baggy looking pants and shirts, which are obviously oversized! If you are a student from a western country, bye bye summer vacation, there is no 3 months+ summer holiday here for you! No 2 week + winter vacation and 7+ days spring break! The most you are gonna get is a 3-5 days winter vacation, 10+ days dashain vacation and 5+ days Tihar vacation! And obliviously there is no concept of weekend, only Saturdays are off, no day off for Sunday! So an official week here is 6 working days not 5! Even children in middle school are severely punished for dress code violations, hair violation and so on. There is so semester system here until you finish high school, only after you start your bachelors you get to choose a college which offer semester exams, instead of yearly exams. I don’t know much about O levels and A levels, I hope they offer semester system!
FOR ALL THOSE WHO STUDY FOR THEIR HIGH SCHOOL PRACTICAL EXAMS AND VIVA, DONT! ITS NOT NECESSARY, YOU ARE GONNA GET 23+ NO MATTER HOW YOU MESS UP YOUR VIVA AND PRACTICAL EXAMS!
Now let’s talk about government offices, one word they suck! Long lines, lunch breaks, stupid staffs and so on. A work that should be complete under 30 minutes here takes hours or even a day to complete! Take your Rastirya Parichaya Patra as an example, it took a whole day for my brother just to register and fill up paper work and give biometrics! What’s the use of that shit, when you already have a goddamn citizenship? If you pay them some cash it would be done in under an hour or so, but you have to identify whom to bribe though😂, or you might end of becoming a laughing stock or getting punished by law! Any other government work you do takes 7 times longer than what westerners call lousy government work time!
Let’s talk about media, watching World Cup football/soccer was free for as far as I can remember but now they want to charge you extra for it?😂And not only that they even want as far as to ban pirated sites which offers the match with a a few minutes delay as well? Now tell me government aren’t you taking money from media hub or whatever that bought the rights to be exclusive broadcasters of the World Cup?🖕. Concept of free speech is foreign here, if you open up and express your opinions on social media about the government, you are inviting trouble! Even porn is banded in this country officially and the reason they are giving is to prevent rape and other harassment. Be serious bruh, wolves are wolves, they are not gonna change whether you ban porn or not! As long as some men remain wolves by nature, it’s not gonna stop! Banning porn takes away their means to self gratify themselves and make them hungrier for live action! Government and law have failed to provide justice for victims like Nirmala and so many other girls and women! Instead of making stricter and thorough investigation in such cases, they think the solution is to ban porn? In my opinion, If prostitution was legal here and run through government, the rape cases here would be lower, as the wolves get their gratification! This happens here illegally and both the people who buy it and those who sell it are at a risk of jail time, disease, violence and fraud. If they legalized such activities and charged taxes,(since government like charging taxes on anything and everything) provide free medical checkups to all sex workers, STI here would be low, and the status of sex workers would improve. It’s my opinion anyways, you can disagree! And it’s unlikely that it will happen in the coming 500+ years or so!
IN CONCLUSION, I DONT PERSONALLY HATE NEPAL, I JUST HATE THE SYSTEM, LAW, GOVERNMENT AND HOW ITS RUN!!!!!

I did not know who you were then, but randomly found you when searching for Nepal videos a couple weeks ago. While i was watching this one, I saw myself in the background. :) I loved your EBC video, I did EBC in 2019 but did the more traditional route. Makes me want to try the less travelled route. Keep up the great Videos. I have been to Nepal 21 times and have seen a lot of videos about the beautiful country, but you do such a great job showing the less travelled areas. Nepal is my favorite place in the world. Keep it up. Thanks for highlighting Nepal.

8:02 do you wanna know what my favorite fruit is? Strawberries, the reason why is because when I eat fruits, I can’t drink water for about 1/2 hour, and that gets into the risk of being dehydrated, and if I break that rule, I’ll get sick, and I wouldn’t want that. So if I have some of the following fruits, then I’m good:
    1. WATERMELON
    2. MANGO
    3. ORANGES
    4. APPLES
    5. TOMATOES
The reason why I talk about these fruits is because they already have water in them, like watermelon, which tops of the list, because #1: it has the most amount of water than all the other fruits, and (#2) it makes sense as you why it’s called “watermelon”, it’s melon with water, so I’m already hydrated as I need to be when I eat these fruits.
So I like guavas, bananas, kiwis as well
