You should try Hangtime at Knotts Berry Farm in Southern California. Complete vertical ascent to 150'. Great drop coaster. This Steel Curtain looks awesome and smooth. Maybe I'll get to ride it someday.

They said the brakes got caught and there was nothing they could do. They had to call a few fire trucks to get us down one by one. My anxiety was on a 1000. Til this day I've been afraid to ride coasters. My family and I went when the Fury opened and as we were standing in the forever line, they announced they were closing it down for a few to check for mechanical issues. That was all it took for me. They rode it once it opened back up, but I'm good in the kiddie or water parks!!

C.A flips it’s a different ride experience from the phantom but that being said I think this will be the best new ride of 2019. Any seat on the ride is great cause in the front you get pushed through every inversion but in the back you get whipped through all the elements. On of the biggest questions was how the airtime on the bridge and it’s not floater but ejector airtime!
Ooooh, too bad I'm so far from Pittsburgh, that looks like a hot coaster. If a video is posted of Rush Limbaugh riding the coaster, I'd love to see that, because he's a big Steelers fan.
You guys want a real review. I was at Kennywood for the 4th of July. The ride was just testing. First off Kennywood shuts down their coasters if a storm cloud is near...on the 4th coasters without rain were shut down for 3 hrs, so if you are coming from a distance...Check out the weather! The coaster spirals downward...it's not a side to side....spiral is the word. If you see this in person...it's the first thing you will notice. At one point it goes in a circular motion, but you are still spiraling. So imagine the letter O. You go around the letter, 'O", but in a spiral. This is not the tallest mammoth coaster, but it's size is there but the spiral effect is the add on with circular downward stride.
Are you serious? This past Sunday, seeing my Steelers get absolutely pounded by the New England Patriots....ugh! I can't even stand the Patriots! How many times just within the past 10-12 years have they been caught cheating? Can you say Deflategate? Tom Brady had to sit out at least 4 games at the start of the next year for that little stunt. If he was the guilty party, he should've been fired immediately! I haven't even liked the Patriots for a long time...& I never will again!!! Go Steelers!!!!!

Those two are not a good combination...lol My wife and I live in Bellefonte (near State College)...I’ve never been to Kennywood. My wife has years ago. I was born and raised in Lewistown and have been to Hershey, Knoebel’s Grove, Delgrosso’s, Lakemont..etc..

All through the video, I was wondering what show this clip was taken from. If only they had included a logo or something so the casual viewer would know.
They have to slowly break in the coaster and make sure it's functioning properly before they operate it non-stop. Break in safety runs are done on all coasters for about a week or so until they are sure that it is going to operate without shutting down during the lift process and when the train is braking to a stop near the station they have to check the brakes and wheels every so often to make sure that there's no malfunction about to happen.
@@BruinPhD2009 I highly doubt it. I've been on a ton of rollercoasters and unless there's decent air time on some of those hills, this coaster will be a huge failure. I'll be riding it soon because I live 20 minutes from Kennywood

This coaster is the best was ever built in a theme park. The lift hill is awesome and the twist turns inversions is one of a kind.

DarthRaver86 86 They tested is MULTIPLE times day and night before putting anybody on. They used dummies filled with whatever for weight.
