My resolution this year is to teach and guide people through raids. I joined this game last year and I did it because I wanted to talk with new people, to try and socialize and get better at conversation. A couple of guys showed me Vault of Glass when I didn't even know what a raid was. It was a key moment for me. Flash forward to last month when I was showing people Prophecy and Last Wish, teaching how to beat the vault, and I really liked it. Felt useful. I want to do that more times. My Geomag Warlock is similar, but different: Aspects: Arc soul/Electrostatic Mind Fragments: Shock/Ions/Discharge/Amplitude Abilities: Pulse Grenade/Ball of Lightning Weapons: Brigand's Law with Flared Magwell, Threat Detector and Voltshot This is an adclear build with high damage output thanks to extended Chaos Reach. Shoot an enemy with Brigand's Law, reload, shoot another enemy. This one is jolted, now. Kill it. Reload. Create an ionic trace. Surrounding enemies are jolted. Rinse and repeat. Thanks to Spark of Discharge, you create two ionic traces instead of one. Abilities create ionic traces thanks to electrostatic mind. With harmonic siphon, your first multikill spawns 3 orbs of power thanks to Spark of Amplitude (it does so since the season started, idk why). Recuperation helps you to stay in the fray. Activate Speed Booster for free 20% damage reduction. NOW, ionic traces are also created when your Arc Soul kills enemies, so don't intervene. I did day 1 Crota's End with this build, I raid with this build (switch to solar if we're only 2 Warlocks), I occasionally do GMs, I do Legend Exotic quest and solo dungeons with it, I think I'm too comfortable with this build. I love Arc Warlock.
i believe the main difference between amplified arc souls and the one from getaway artist is that the getaway artist sentient arc soul gives grenade energy when it damages targets (edit: and amplifies you when you consume your grenade). very very similar, but it does do its own little thing
The issue is that Geomags are just SO good in this build, compared to NOT having Geos, that it really can't be replaced. Been using this build almost exclusively for a year or so. The sheer Super uptime, abilities uptime, PLUS Coldheart's damage buff, is stupid-good.
Yeah, the arc soul feeds you back your grenade, which is nice. More of a PvP setup, I'd say? Especially when there's stuff keying off amplified in the seasonal mods.
The arc soul you get from your rift also has built-in demolitionist, ie it recharges your grenade as well. Getaway Artists have no real purpose since amplified boosts the souls now.
@@personaverygrata2588 Yeah, but not at the expense of Geomags. For example, this week, with suppressed health regen, I tried switching to Boots of the Assembler to provide a little extra support. But the stark difference with Chaos Reach's runtime made it sub-optimal. Against bosses in particular, it's like a 3rd of the runtime. No "extra Arc Soul" is making up for that imo.

Warlock Briarbinds & Final Warning combination. Strand and Void working in together. Aim is to use Briarbinds Better, longer Void Soul and Final Warning's easy to proc unravelling, which ticks when the Void soul does does damage, spreading Unravelling rounds to further enemies. Exotic: Brairbands (obviously) Weapons: Final Warning. Others your personal preference Super: Nova bomb Vortex. Grenade: Vortex Grenade. Rift: Healing for Grenade regent from Void Soul Aspects: Child of old gods and Chaos Accelerant Fragments: Remnants, Harvest, Starvation and Persistence. Mods: Helm - Strand Siphon, Special Ammo Finder. Arms - Bolstering Detonation (Get our Rift back for more Souls) Chest - Resistance Mods (We have to wait for lock on for Final Warning) Legs - Insulation, Strand Weapon Surge Class - Time Dilation, Bomber Gameplay loop: Rift, Soul to pack of enemies or High Value Target, get within Final Warning lock on range, hit target with full burst procing Unravelling, use grenades to keep targets in Void soul. Pick up Max Void should before it despawns, throw it out again. When you can, juggle two void souls by going back and forth between soul locations, pick them up and opportunity. If they despawn, that's find a good grenade kill should get it back for you. For extra Briarbinds wackiness, Try The Navigator instead of Final Warning. The season artefact gives Unravelling Rounds to Strand weapons on Orb Pick up. So you can potentially have a target Weakened from Void Soul, Unravelling and Severing from Navigator while also having Woven Metal and Devour procing on yourself.
i've been using a build that's almost identical to this, used spark of resistance instead of spark of ions because electrostatic mind gives the same effect and i swapped a few mods on the arms and bond but that's about it, using it with a showrunner with kinetic tremors and a hothead to have the surges work on the rocket and coldheart, it has put in so much work it's unbelieveable, i managed to solo the 4th pathway boss in the coil with it, definitely worth trying out if you havent
As someone who loves Fallen Sunstar and uses it a lot, I would never take off Spark of Ions since it stacks with Electrostatic Mind, allowing you to get much more Ionic Traces, sometimes even multiple from the same enemy, and of course the more Ionic Traces, the better. There are other fragments that are more worthwhile to get rid of from this build IMO, mainly Spark of Amplitude, being able to generate an orb on a ten second cooldown instead of just more Ionic Traces is not worth it
@@The_Number1Candyman for lower end content i agree, but with arc not being on the artifact and arc warlock having very little survivability on its own i'd take damage reduction over 4-5 seconds off my ability cooldown any day
@xxellipsisxx7651 With fallen sunstar, it's quite a bit more than 4-5 seconds, and yes, survivability is very important in higher end content, but like I said it's more useful to have extra Ionic Traces which give a large chunk of energy to every ability than one measly little orb every 10 seconds. Even in GMs, a FS Warlock will get a lot of kills, which means many ITs. Side note, I wish electric armor became a permanent thing, because survivability is the one thing Arc is missing before it becomes a true meta contender (also my baby Chaos Reach is still ass pls buff) If you still disagree, then your opinion is your own, and that's fine
Nice build! I take "magnitude" to it instead of "amplitude". Reason: Longer impuls-nade makes 4-6 traces. Alternative to surge: "nade-" or/and "utility-kickstart".
My new year's resolution is to try to get under 240 lbs. I've been at the 260-270 range for a while now and I started working out like 6 months ago. I've noticed a significant increase in strength, but I haven't lost any weight. Also love the vids, keep it up 👊😎
I just found this channel yesterday, and ive been binging "Will it build?" I knew I was bad at D2 , but now I know... im absolute trash! Ive learned so much from these vids , I am rediscovering the game! Bought it right after forsaken , but I had noone to play with or to learn from. Im almost giddy learing all of this to use for my own warlock! ❤it My newyears resolution is to drink more water and eat more homecooked meals ! sounds Kinda stupid but i am really slippin and slidin with that diet and it shows😂 PS, the traproom in the coil.... them friggin spikes Will be the stroke that takes me out, and im glad im not the only one!

This build is amazing with a solar machine gun in the heavy slot to proc radiant. Cold heart becomes a mini super in the short gaps between supers. The gaps where you use the machine gun allow time to generate some extra special so you don't run out. Just swap straight to cold heart as soon as radiant is proced. You can make up any amp gaps with abilities. Sounds complex but its quickly learnable
I love this series so much, it embodies the main thing I love about destiny 2. My new years resolution is to stop drinking soda and its been relativley easy so far so hopefully itll keep up
Build idea (idk if there’s been one like this) This is not season locked so it will always be in my opinion good Solar hunter, using skyburners oath, wormhusk crown, and primary and heavy of users choice, and super of users choice Gamblers dodge Weighted throwing knife Healing nades For the aspects it’s knock ‘em down and on your mark, this is so you can get five fragment slots but you could use gunpowder is you feel that you don’t need the extra one. For the fragments its torches, empyrean, singeing, ashes, and eruption. Armor mods are really your preference but I would spec into melee orbs and super energy on melee kills since you’ll be using that a lot. The basic gameplay loop is hipfire skyburners, throw a knife, dodge, do it again, and then scorch them with hip fire until you get the dodge back. For dps phases you can hot swap to celestial if you’re running golden gun but if not then you should be using your heavy weapon integrating some ignitions here and there when out of ammo. I would recommend a bait and switch rocket for easy dps or the trials grenade launcher with bait and switch. I used the new fusion for my primary Edit (probably could’ve been more specific with the armor mods but I feel that part of the fun with this game is to try out different things and modify current builds to what you seem to enjoy and like) 👍
One of my biggest New Year’s resolution is that I want to do a lot more things that are out of my comfort zone. One of the things about this series is that it gives me a way to try out new builds that aren’t really talked about. And it’s given me to try and do something similar with games outside of Destiny 2, and even IRL. 2024 for me is going to be filled with a bunch of firsts for me.

My new years resolution is to take and complete artwork commissions through the entire year consistently, and wouldn't you know it the first one I get to work on is drawing an Ahamkara :D. Arc builds are always so fun even when they're not the seasonal focus, thank you for sharing this one!
I use a build similar to this but with a voltshot phylotactic spiral pulse rifle (it somehow reloads faster than most other voltshot weapons I've used, and does comparable damage) so I can use thunderlord for my exotic. Kicks ass in most content, cool to see similar ideas in the series. For the giveaway: I wanted my resolution to be simple this year, so I simply want to be kinder this year, and put more positivity into the world.

I use that exact same build, I was laughing when I started watching this, it's a great build. BTW, the hands on mod is for close quarters, if enemies close in you can melly them and arc chain damage to all of them killing everything in close range very quickly. Also, the damage generates benefits depending on the other mods and subclass perks. I had a similar build with a Sweet Sorrow auto rifle freeing up my heavy slot to take advantage of Fusion missile launchers for bosses. The Sweet Sorrow had killing wind and demolitionist, plus there are seasonal perks for auto rifles, and with no need for special ammo. So instead I had a heavy ammo finder for the missile launcher.
I'd run a kinetic tremors primary (with shoot to loot if you have it) for dealing with champions, or a strand primary with sever so you can sever and unravel (on orb pickup, artifact mod) enemies. Some kind of auto loading rocket would be great too, Palmyra with explosive light (has intrinsic tracking) is super easy to use. I know jolting takes care of overloads but it's nice to have a fallback that also does big damage.
I was playing around with a build with BXR(or DMT maybe?) and Lion rampant with consecration and I was running sol Invictus for survivability. Embers of: wonder(ignition kills generate orbs), ashes(cause more scorch), (ignitions spread scorch), and the last isn't set in stone, but I was playing with (ignition kills grant grenade energy). The idea is throw a incendiary grenade and follow up with the upswing of consecration to cause an ignition while keeping half the melee. While you are waiting for cooldowns, you can float in the sky and hip fire down on enemies. This isn't the most effective variation of this build, but it is pretty fun. If you want to you can go to roaring flames, especially with the loreley in place of Lion rampant.
Mods are pretty standard. Head: siphon, ammo finder/scout Arms: impact induction, melee kickstart, (grenade hits give melee energy) Chest: resists Legs: recuperation, invigoration(or melee version), I like scavs, but the 3rd can flex into other things. Mark: powerful attraction, reaper(optional), bomber(or melee version)
Weapons: kinetic slot: conditional is good if need legendary pretty much any fusion Energy slot: BXR is what I used. If using loreley you could use the Ghosts dungeon SMG(no survivors) or heliocentric sidearm. Heavy slot: DPS weapon (depends on activity)
I feel like recuperation and orbs of restoration aren't really needed on arc cause rift uptime is usually high if not 100%. I usually go with elemental charge since you generate ionic charges like crazy.
Keep in mind 2% of 10 minutes is 12 seconds, and given other sources of super energy you'll only need 20 to 30 ionic traces to get your solar back. Depending on the quantity of adds it can take you as little as a minute to get your super back which in some boss fights is a cake walk to get.
So my New Years resolution as basic as it sounds is just to better myself as a person this year get back to working out as well as eating better and find a new job that hopefully isn't as hard on my mental health as my old one. Love the Will if Build series it has help me and my game immensely thank you for the incredible content Mac keep up the outstanding work.

I have recently been playing with Spark of Beacons with Indebted Kindness, the Arc Special Sidearm from Warlord's Ruin and it works really well. I've not had a lot of luck with Arc Specials but this one fits the bill really well. It is a good alternative if you want to free up your exotic slot.
Late comment here because I just found your channel. I have been running a better version of this build for some time, focused on consistency and staying alive. There is no need for Geomags because you get your super plenty quick without. And the super is not the focus of this Arc build anyway; it's the crowd control and elite control with jolt. (Then again, maybe it's because I am not that fond of the laser beam. You use it very well!) Fallen Sunstar is better when in a party. But I have a left-field choice that I think is entertaining! Especially in maps filled with mobs. For my gun I use Centrifuse since you never need worry about ammo. It's solid and dependable.

My new years resolution was to get the Swarmera by solo the Legendary Campaign... Since release i have tried to do it but have never been able to last against the second mission onwards... However after making the resolution i decided to jump on and give it a go... And after pulling an all nighter i managed to solo the whole thing in the two days which i thought wasnt possible for someone with my skill and gear level... But it goes to show if you want something and fail multiple times eventually you will succeed. So now my new new years resolution is to get every exotic armor piece xD, cause i need a new goal to achieve xD

Fragments: Amplitude, Shock, Ions, and discharge. Armor: Helm: (Apotheosis Veil) harmonic siphon, heavy finder, (or ashes to assets), font of wisdom. Gauntlets: firepower, impact induct, momentum transfer Chest: harmonic, solar and void resist Boots: elemental charge, x2 arc surge Bond: time dialation, powerful attraction, reaper. Weapons: Scatter signal with controled burst and slice or overflow for sver/unravel utility application and or Dps. Centrifuse or any arc primary with voltshot. (I like centrifuse for blind, but the reprised undying smg with voltshot is good too.) Crux termination with recon or slideshot with either bait and switch, demo, or explosive light. Alternatively you can use tractor cannon to opt for more ability damage if you dont want to use centrifuse. (Mods can be altered to accommodate.) Gamepaly loop: fast supers, centrifuse go burrrr and blind, endless orbs and ionic traces. Cancel super early for nigh infinite ability spam or don't and abilities still go burrr after magnum dong big boy beam. Artifact mods: wished into being for even more orbs, dragons bite for suspend on shield break, unraveling orbs because unravel goes burr and horde shuttle to summon minions with weapons and arc soul. My stat spread is T10 res T5 recov T10 discp T4 intelect (w/ font its t7 anything after t7 is diminishing with how int works.) Editors note: 'so anyways I started blasting' have fun and expirement with what might work best for you! I love the apotheosis change and by far it is my favorite on arc at the moment. Feel free to swap mods and weapons as you wish for personal optimization. I prefer weapon surge because your abilities and super uptime is already pretty fast from the damage output and ionic traces.
@Mactics the main gameplay loop is having the option to cancel your super intermittently for crazy powerful ability spam as well as being able to get your super back fast from how much damage you put out.

New years resolutions have always been tough for me but I want to try to pay down as much of my debt is possible. Been a tough year in 2023 with random bills so being able to take care of those and maybe start saving some more money would be amazing.
Everytime I see someone compare a “Will it build” build to a meta build a little part of me dies inside, yall this build looks fun as fck like who wouldn’t want to shoot lasers and beams every 2 minutes??
Does it work better than Coldheart? I'm trying both and not finding that Delicate Tomb is much of an improvement, considering Coldheart gives you traces while you're hosing down a single target, like a boss.
My dad won your special limited edition cards that were holographic, and not gonna lie those cards are like the dopest set of cards ive ever seen, love the art, and im stealing this build 100% cause that arc build is like 110% better than mine
Definately trying this out on warlock once i get stasis finished for that alt. Resolution: stress less, family more. (aka) Get more time in D2 with the kids like we started end of last year, and worry less about someone else’s deadline at work.

This has been my go-to build (with short range melee instead as well as different primary and heavy, not like you need them for anything other than getting more cold heart ammo though) for months now, was even better during that one season artifact that was full of arc mods, made this build Solo GM worthy, dropping healing rifts and grenades like bread crumbs in Hansel n green lol Still use this build when raiding and dungeons, usually top dps on the team
Two things: 1. While losing weight and bettering yourself is a good thing, you shouldn't let that determine whether or not you will stream. Just do it bro. Have fun with it, and don't allow shame to keep you from your goals. If you feel like you aren't healthy and need to lose weight, do it, but a lot of times shame can actually hinder us from progress, rather than help us. 2. What platform do you stream on?
Geo is good for extending super but as far as generating I'd throw on tempest helmet for the storm caller to have fast easy supers or throw on delicate tomb and fallen sunstar to have a ton of ionic traces which will top you off incredibly fast
My new years resolution is to be more productive on my time when playing d2 since I have limited time playing it ,taking care of the family is a balance that I'm still learning 😅
my new years resolution is to build up the courage to play with other players in destiny. ive been playing solo since forsaken and i end up missing out on content that requires a team. Missing out on playing the raids and newer dungeons.
I personally couldn't think of a worse time than tickling bosses or enemies with repetative taps on a trace rifle. The game already makes add clear builds abundant with artifact mods you can come up with one almost by accident. Love the build series though!
i don't normally do "resolitions", but i'd really like to go to morer concerts this year. been to a handful but either money or timing always seems to get in the way
My New Year's resolution is to sculpt four game-ready characters by the end of the year. I'm very prone to slacking when it comes to practicing modeling outside of school, so I think four should be an easy goal to reach.

so i kinda run this build, but i like using Riskrunner and Crown of Tempest. It’s cool to run on any activity, obviously not endgame GM type content, but it’s till very fun.
Ok like you I did add some wrinkles into it but it definitely works . I tried coldheart with a few other typical arc armor exotics but the chaos reach works best with this so far. And that was without the catalyst added yet . Currently 57% .
I did not have a resolution up until 2 days ago and it turned inot reading a chapter a day from a medition book for the whole year anytime during the day

I see you using DIM to grab stuff quickly, but you’re switching the weapons in game. I’ve found that in DIM, if you drag the weapon you’re grabbing and place it on top of the currently selected weapon it’ll move that weapon into your inventory and equip the weapon you want
i loki watch videos like this to see if there builds id like to try and build off from, and i found a similiar build using fallen sunstar excotic helmet.
Love this build, but I usually use fallen sunstar instead. Resolution is definetly to try and actually make builds for my alternate characters. That and to travel more!

@@personaverygrata2588 Yeah, but not at the expense of Geomags. For example, this week, with suppressed health regen, I tried switching to Boots of the Assembler to provide a little extra support. But the stark difference with Chaos Reach's runtime made it sub-optimal. Against bosses in particular, it's like a 3rd of the runtime. No "extra Arc Soul" is making up for that imo.
This was EXACTLY my first "go hard" build before I started looking into optimal builds from content creators and taking the game more seriously - SO much fun!! Good to see some geomag coldheart getting some love!

Warlock Briarbinds & Final Warning combination. Strand and Void working in together.
Aim is to use Briarbinds Better, longer Void Soul and Final Warning's easy to proc unravelling, which ticks when the Void soul does does damage, spreading Unravelling rounds to further enemies.
Exotic: Brairbands (obviously)
Weapons: Final Warning. Others your personal preference
Super: Nova bomb Vortex.
Grenade: Vortex Grenade.
Rift: Healing for Grenade regent from Void Soul
Aspects: Child of old gods and Chaos Accelerant
Fragments: Remnants, Harvest, Starvation and Persistence.
Mods: Helm - Strand Siphon, Special Ammo Finder.
Arms - Bolstering Detonation (Get our Rift back for more Souls)
Chest - Resistance Mods (We have to wait for lock on for Final Warning)
Legs - Insulation, Strand Weapon Surge
Class - Time Dilation, Bomber
Gameplay loop: Rift, Soul to pack of enemies or High Value Target, get within Final Warning lock on range, hit target with full burst procing Unravelling, use grenades to keep targets in Void soul. Pick up Max Void should before it despawns, throw it out again.
When you can, juggle two void souls by going back and forth between soul locations, pick them up and opportunity. If they despawn, that's find a good grenade kill should get it back for you.
For extra Briarbinds wackiness, Try The Navigator instead of Final Warning. The season artefact gives Unravelling Rounds to Strand weapons on Orb Pick up. So you can potentially have a target Weakened from Void Soul, Unravelling and Severing from Navigator while also having Woven Metal and Devour procing on yourself.
i've been using a build that's almost identical to this, used spark of resistance instead of spark of ions because electrostatic mind gives the same effect and i swapped a few mods on the arms and bond but that's about it, using it with a showrunner with kinetic tremors and a hothead to have the surges work on the rocket and coldheart, it has put in so much work it's unbelieveable, i managed to solo the 4th pathway boss in the coil with it, definitely worth trying out if you havent
As someone who loves Fallen Sunstar and uses it a lot, I would never take off Spark of Ions since it stacks with Electrostatic Mind, allowing you to get much more Ionic Traces, sometimes even multiple from the same enemy, and of course the more Ionic Traces, the better. There are other fragments that are more worthwhile to get rid of from this build IMO, mainly Spark of Amplitude, being able to generate an orb on a ten second cooldown instead of just more Ionic Traces is not worth it
@@The_Number1Candyman for lower end content i agree, but with arc not being on the artifact and arc warlock having very little survivability on its own i'd take damage reduction over 4-5 seconds off my ability cooldown any day
@xxellipsisxx7651 With fallen sunstar, it's quite a bit more than 4-5 seconds, and yes, survivability is very important in higher end content, but like I said it's more useful to have extra Ionic Traces which give a large chunk of energy to every ability than one measly little orb every 10 seconds. Even in GMs, a FS Warlock will get a lot of kills, which means many ITs. Side note, I wish electric armor became a permanent thing, because survivability is the one thing Arc is missing before it becomes a true meta contender (also my baby Chaos Reach is still ass pls buff)

Nice build! I take "magnitude" to it instead of "amplitude". Reason: Longer impuls-nade makes 4-6 traces.
Alternative to surge: "nade-" or/and "utility-kickstart".
My new year's resolution is to try to get under 240 lbs. I've been at the 260-270 range for a while now and I started working out like 6 months ago. I've noticed a significant increase in strength, but I haven't lost any weight. Also love the vids, keep it up 👊😎
I just found this channel yesterday, and ive been binging "Will it build?" I knew I was bad at D2 , but now I know... im absolute trash! Ive learned so much from these vids , I am rediscovering the game! Bought it right after forsaken , but I had noone to play with or to learn from.

This build is amazing with a solar machine gun in the heavy slot to proc radiant. Cold heart becomes a mini super in the short gaps between supers. The gaps where you use the machine gun allow time to generate some extra special so you don't run out. Just swap straight to cold heart as soon as radiant is proced. You can make up any amp gaps with abilities. Sounds complex but its quickly learnable

Solar hunter, using skyburners oath, wormhusk crown, and primary and heavy of users choice, and super of users choice
Gamblers dodge
Weighted throwing knife
Healing nades
For the aspects it’s knock ‘em down and on your mark, this is so you can get five fragment slots but you could use gunpowder is you feel that you don’t need the extra one.
For the fragments its torches, empyrean, singeing, ashes, and eruption.
Armor mods are really your preference but I would spec into melee orbs and super energy on melee kills since you’ll be using that a lot.
The basic gameplay loop is hipfire skyburners, throw a knife, dodge, do it again, and then scorch them with hip fire until you get the dodge back.
For dps phases you can hot swap to celestial if you’re running golden gun but if not then you should be using your heavy weapon integrating some ignitions here and there when out of ammo.
I would recommend a bait and switch rocket for easy dps or the trials grenade launcher with bait and switch. I used the new fusion for my primary

One of my biggest New Year’s resolution is that I want to do a lot more things that are out of my comfort zone. One of the things about this series is that it gives me a way to try out new builds that aren’t really talked about. And it’s given me to try and do something similar with games outside of Destiny 2, and even IRL. 2024 for me is going to be filled with a bunch of firsts for me.

My new years resolution is to take and complete artwork commissions through the entire year consistently, and wouldn't you know it the first one I get to work on is drawing an Ahamkara :D. Arc builds are always so fun even when they're not the seasonal focus, thank you for sharing this one!
Like these series! My resolution is to lose some wheight and gain some muscle this year. I want to be able to do pull ups an hand stand.
I use a build similar to this but with a voltshot phylotactic spiral pulse rifle (it somehow reloads faster than most other voltshot weapons I've used, and does comparable damage) so I can use thunderlord for my exotic. Kicks ass in most content, cool to see similar ideas in the series. For the giveaway: I wanted my resolution to be simple this year, so I simply want to be kinder this year, and put more positivity into the world.

My New Year's resolution is to better myself in all aspects for my new baby.
I use that exact same build, I was laughing when I started watching this, it's a great build. BTW, the hands on mod is for close quarters, if enemies close in you can melly them and arc chain damage to all of them killing everything in close range very quickly. Also, the damage generates benefits depending on the other mods and subclass perks. I had a similar build with a Sweet Sorrow auto rifle freeing up my heavy slot to take advantage of Fusion missile launchers for bosses. The Sweet Sorrow had killing wind and demolitionist, plus there are seasonal perks for auto rifles, and with no need for special ammo. So instead I had a heavy ammo finder for the missile launcher.
I'd run a kinetic tremors primary (with shoot to loot if you have it) for dealing with champions, or a strand primary with sever so you can sever and unravel (on orb pickup, artifact mod) enemies.
Some kind of auto loading rocket would be great too, Palmyra with explosive light (has intrinsic tracking) is super easy to use. I know jolting takes care of overloads but it's nice to have a fallback that also does big damage.
I was playing around with a build with BXR(or DMT maybe?) and Lion rampant with consecration and I was running sol Invictus for survivability. Embers of: wonder(ignition kills generate orbs), ashes(cause more scorch), (ignitions spread scorch), and the last isn't set in stone, but I was playing with (ignition kills grant grenade energy).
The idea is throw a incendiary grenade and follow up with the upswing of consecration to cause an ignition while keeping half the melee. While you are waiting for cooldowns, you can float in the sky and hip fire down on enemies.
This isn't the most effective variation of this build, but it is pretty fun. If you want to you can go to roaring flames, especially with the loreley in place of Lion rampant.
Mods are pretty standard.
Head: siphon, ammo finder/scout
Arms: impact induction, melee kickstart, (grenade hits give melee energy)
Chest: resists
Legs: recuperation, invigoration(or melee version), I like scavs, but the 3rd can flex into other things.
Mark: powerful attraction, reaper(optional), bomber(or melee version)
Weapons:
kinetic slot: conditional is good if need legendary pretty much any fusion
Energy slot: BXR is what I used. If using loreley you could use the Ghosts dungeon SMG(no survivors) or heliocentric sidearm.
Heavy slot: DPS weapon (depends on activity)
Love watching and trying out the builds for myself, my new years resolution is to push myself out of my comfort zone more often this year
I feel like recuperation and orbs of restoration aren't really needed on arc cause rift uptime is usually high if not 100%. I usually go with elemental charge since you generate ionic charges like crazy.
Keep in mind 2% of 10 minutes is 12 seconds, and given other sources of super energy you'll only need 20 to 30 ionic traces to get your solar back. Depending on the quantity of adds it can take you as little as a minute to get your super back which in some boss fights is a cake walk to get.
It's 2% while the super is being fired. Just rewatch any footage of him casting super and you'll see it

I have recently been playing with Spark of Beacons with Indebted Kindness, the Arc Special Sidearm from Warlord's Ruin and it works really well. I've not had a lot of luck with Arc Specials but this one fits the bill really well. It is a good alternative if you want to free up your exotic slot.
Late comment here because I just found your channel. I have been running a better version of this build for some time, focused on consistency and staying alive. There is no need for Geomags because you get your super plenty quick without. And the super is not the focus of this Arc build anyway; it's the crowd control and elite control with jolt. (Then again, maybe it's because I am not that fond of the laser beam. You use it very well!)
Fallen Sunstar is better when in a party. But I have a left-field choice that I think is entertaining! Especially in maps filled with mobs. For my gun I use Centrifuse since you never need worry about ammo. It's solid and dependable.

My new years resolution was to get the Swarmera by solo the Legendary Campaign...
Since release i have tried to do it but have never been able to last against the second mission onwards...
However after making the resolution i decided to jump on and give it a go...
And after pulling an all nighter i managed to solo the whole thing in the two days which i thought wasnt possible for someone with my skill and gear level...
But it goes to show if you want something and fail multiple times eventually you will succeed.
So now my new new years resolution is to get every exotic armor piece xD, cause i need a new goal to achieve xD

Build name: Veil of Chaos
Subclass: Stormcaller
Abilities: Chaos Reach, heal rift, burst gilde, ball lightning, storm grenade.
Aspects: Arc soul, electro static mind.
Fragments: Amplitude, Shock, Ions, and discharge.
Armor:
Helm: (Apotheosis Veil) harmonic siphon, heavy finder, (or ashes to assets), font of wisdom.
Gauntlets: firepower, impact induct, momentum transfer
Chest: harmonic, solar and void resist
Boots: elemental charge, x2 arc surge
Bond: time dialation, powerful attraction, reaper.
Weapons:
Scatter signal with controled burst and slice or overflow for sver/unravel utility application and or Dps.
Centrifuse or any arc primary with voltshot. (I like centrifuse for blind, but the reprised undying smg with voltshot is good too.)
Crux termination with recon or slideshot with either bait and switch, demo, or explosive light. Alternatively you can use tractor cannon to opt for more ability damage if you dont want to use centrifuse. (Mods can be altered to accommodate.)
Gamepaly loop: fast supers, centrifuse go burrrr and blind, endless orbs and ionic traces. Cancel super early for nigh infinite ability spam or don't and abilities still go burrr after magnum dong big boy beam.
Artifact mods: wished into being for even more orbs, dragons bite for suspend on shield break, unraveling orbs because unravel goes burr and horde shuttle to summon minions with weapons and arc soul.

T4 intelect (w/ font its t7 anything after t7 is diminishing with how int works.)
Editors note: 'so anyways I started blasting' have fun and expirement with what might work best for you! I love the apotheosis change and by far it is my favorite on arc at the moment.
Feel free to swap mods and weapons as you wish for personal optimization. I prefer weapon surge because your abilities and super uptime is already pretty fast from the damage output and ionic traces.
@Mactics the main gameplay loop is having the option to cancel your super intermittently for crazy powerful ability spam as well as being able to get your super back fast from how much damage you put out.

New years resolutions have always been tough for me but I want to try to pay down as much of my debt is possible. Been a tough year in 2023 with random bills so being able to take care of those and maybe start saving some more money would be amazing.

The cold heart is good but if you pair it with delicate tomb the super charges twice as fast
Does it work better than Coldheart? I'm trying both and not finding that Delicate Tomb is much of an improvement, considering Coldheart gives you traces while you're hosing down a single target, like a boss.

Destiny Playing Cards! I collect card decks and this is amazing! New years resolution was to maintain motivation while learning the correct times to take a step back and relax.
This has been my go-to build (with short range melee instead as well as different primary and heavy, not like you need them for anything other than getting more cold heart ammo though) for months now, was even better during that one season artifact that was full of arc mods, made this build Solo GM worthy, dropping healing rifts and grenades like bread crumbs in Hansel n green lol
Still use this build when raiding and dungeons, usually top dps on the team
I might put a sniper or alh gl in the kinetic slot. You dont need what is effectively a third primary. So take something harder hitting

This Year i want to get into better shape and eating healthier and maybe stream myself a bit more.
Two things:
1. While losing weight and bettering yourself is a good thing, you shouldn't let that determine whether or not you will stream. Just do it bro. Have fun with it, and don't allow shame to keep you from your goals. If you feel like you aren't healthy and need to lose weight, do it, but a lot of times shame can actually hinder us from progress, rather than help us.
2. What platform do you stream on?

Geo is good for extending super but as far as generating I'd throw on tempest helmet for the storm caller to have fast easy supers or throw on delicate tomb and fallen sunstar to have a ton of ionic traces which will top you off incredibly fast

my new years resolution is to build up the courage to play with other players in destiny. ive been playing solo since forsaken and i end up missing out on content that requires a team. Missing out on playing the raids and newer dungeons.
I personally couldn't think of a worse time than tickling bosses or enemies with repetative taps on a trace rifle. The game already makes add clear builds abundant with artifact mods you can come up with one almost by accident. Love the build series though!

so i kinda run this build, but i like using Riskrunner and Crown of Tempest. It’s cool to run on any activity, obviously not endgame GM type content, but it’s till very fun.

Ok like you I did add some wrinkles into it but it definitely works . I tried coldheart with a few other typical arc armor exotics but the chaos reach works best with this so far. And that was without the catalyst added yet . Currently 57% .

This year, I want to chill the fuck out. Not add stress to my life when I don’t need to, because that is a problem.
I see you using DIM to grab stuff quickly, but you’re switching the weapons in game. I’ve found that in DIM, if you drag the weapon you’re grabbing and place it on top of the currently selected weapon it’ll move that weapon into your inventory and equip the weapon you want
try using fallen sunstar with this. it seems fallen sunstar would work with this better
i loki watch videos like this to see if there builds id like to try and build off from, and i found a similiar build using fallen sunstar excotic helmet.

Love this build, but I usually use fallen sunstar instead. Resolution is definetly to try and actually make builds for my alternate characters. That and to travel more!
