Stasis as a whole needs a rework, but with Prismatic as the final subclass there's no need to because now you can just slap a Stasis thing onto a proper build and call it "fixed".

I’ve been using Hoarfrost-Z since it released jn Witch Queen, and Howl of the Storm is the Aspect that ties this whole build together. Shards generated from your crystal-cade and grenade will feed your slide melee, which creates MORE crystals/shards. Also, Whisper of Conduction paired with Whisper of Rime is CRAZY good for higher-end waves.
Additionally, weapon selection also needs an adjustment. For stasis primary weapons, sidearms are the way to go. You’re already playing up close and personal, so doubling down with a high-damaging option works fantastically. My personal recommendation is the Liminal Vigil from Spire of the Watcher, or the Senuna SI6 world-drop. For a special weapon, having a wave frame GL is a necessity, but one with an Auto-Loading perk (see Explosive Personality from Season if the Risen) makes your life soooooo much easier for quick crystal detonations. Part of this build’s drawbacks is that your crystals can become a nuisance for your teammates, so having the ability to make AND break crystals just as quickly will make you the MVP of any Onslaught run.
Glad to see this build getting some more eyes on it, I wanted to lend my experience to any who wanted to try it too! Great vid Mactics :)

@@nn_nn_aspects have to be the harvest to make shards as they mentioned working with Rime, and Howl of the storm the other. Conduction and Rime were mentioned already as well, and shards I assume is a must have for the 500 percent grenade Regen. I assume the choice is between Rending, Fissures, or Chains for the final slot. Leaning more towards chains for the Damage Resistance, or Fissures for damage

    • @sheepshank808
      @sheepshank808 3 месяца назад +4

@@nn_nn_The aspects are Tectonic Harvest and Howl of the Storm, while the main fragments are Whisper of Conduction, Rime, Shards, and Chains. Conduction is for quality of life, Rime and Chains is for survivability, and Shards is for the oh-so-sweet grenade regeneration.
The main skill curve for the build is learning how to quickly build crystals and destroy them as necessary to cause as much mayhem to your opponents while not hindering your teammates. Being able to deploy a Glacier Grenade AND the Crystal-cade has allowed me to pull of some crazy revives and swipe victory from the jaws of defeat.

I typically go double special with this build. Indebted Kindness and either Scatter Signal or Riptide, you will get ammo I promise. Also Mactics, my brother in Christ, shatter them lmao. Towards the end of the video you could’ve handled a lot of those ads if you shattered them, the build regens enough energy that you can lock them in place again. The Tormentor is why I go double special, Indebted Kindness is so strong for it and I’d honestly use Forerunner if not for Salvation’s Grip, which also does well due to the uncharged shot following up a charged shot.
This build is a little different but for non-boss waves, is very strong dealing with most things, and when the tormentor pops up, lean on your weapons.
For boss rooms, I switch to Pyrogale.
I will say, I’ll be switching Diamond Lance out for Cryoclasm. Didn’t think to use it.

Hey Mactics! I have a variation of a Vesper of Radius build that got inspired by the reveal of the new Prismatic subclass. Basically it has every element in one build and it makes the most out of the current artifact.
I run Vesper of course, with Stasis subclass and Frostpulse fragment for maximum class ability regen, a special ammo Strand gun (right now Incisor for the Trace Rifle surge) with at least Slice paired with the Unravelling Orbs and to make all weapons proc Horde Shuttle, Sunshot (or any Solar Hand Cannons, Bows with strong add clear and also for easy Unstoppable stun) to proc radiant as often as possible and lastly a Void Machine Gun (managed to get Qua Xaphan V with Destabilizing rounds from Drifter) for the extra elemental debuff or it can be any single target power weapon so preferably a Machine Gun.
You then have Stasis debuffs for days, creating crystals and slowing everything, Arc pulses from rifts which procs Shatter after Frostpulse, Scorch/Solar damage as AOE, Strand debuffs plus Threadlings and lastly Volatile debuff although not really important but still helpful at times. It has been very good to run this in Onslaught, you just trade the Blinding pulses for instant Freeze and Slow with the Hail the Storm artifact perk.
Can send DIM link if anyone interested! :)

As a Titan main I’ve learned to work with all sorts of hunter and warlock builds and the “I know what to do here as a Titan” usually comes right away. What I’ve also noticed as a Titan main is that stasis Titan is the one build that puts hunter and warlock mains in
“uh…what do I do here” mode. The walls that have been in the game for years now still throw people off and they can’t seem to work with or around it.

    • @justintracy4945
      @justintracy4945 3 месяца назад +4

I think the main difference is in crystal generation, with behemoth being the major generator and utilizer of the 3 stasis classes. Osmiomancy locks freeze targets on an individual basis, and hunters usually aren't stasis outside of pvp anymore. Neither warlock or hunter really utilizes having constant walls of ice everywhere as a basis of their builds, and they tend to focus on what they now can't do, instead of what they can. If they don't ever play with peps who utilize lots of crystals, or play a behemoth themselves, it can be difficult for them to adjust to something they have likely have little to no experience with. Add to it that while the game and stasis are old, not everyone has been playing the game for that duration, or was playing when it was commonplace. This is the first season in Lightfall that has had stasis on the artifact, and thus a lack of stasis builds for players to interact with over the past year compared to strand, solar, etc.

@@bobisoft2k5that really doesn’t help the conversation. You’re kinda just repeating what he said with angst. A more helpful and constructive comment would have been that in order for other classes to not feel useless when a behemoth is doing their thing they should find ways to use their build to shatter the walls used for offense and tether off spots the Titan isn’t able to get to. And well the moment there’s a big rush coming into the ADU. The CC and offensive capabilities from stasis Titan along with a tether and we’ll easily trivializes half of legends onslaught and only gets mildly hectic at 40-50

IMO, the Behemoth Titan you used was alright. It's definitely not the kind of build I'd use, though. Salvation's is a nice weapon, really nice right now. Though what I don't like about it is that it's clunky with the recharge. Still, really good weapon to combo with your crystal shatters, and it brings so much cover to funnel enemies or get them stuck for a good 15 seconds. Also I just LOVE Hoarfrost-Z, the thing can have a cooldown that is faster than Armamentarium, more reliable than HOIL, all the while offering offensive and defensive options that are more potent than any Titan Barrier.
As for the weapons you chose, you're right to go with a wave frame. They're amazing special weapons to bust down crystals. You definitely shouldn't be using that particular SMG though, your reload time looks horrendous and I doubt it was doing you any favors with such weak damage. Definitely use something else in the Kinetic slot.
Cryoclasm is also something I wouldn't use either. Usually it's Diamond Lance, but it's sometimes Howl. DL is just great, synergizes with any stasis damage you deal to give you more damage and more freezes to play with. Plus, DL gives you a total of 5 slots to work with as opposed to 4, so that can either give you more survivability or more damage. Although, I would not recommend Rime at all. Rime makes easy encounters easier, but it doesn't make hard encounters any easier. No matter what Bungie alludes to, Stasis is NOT equivalent enough to Void where you can treat Stasis Overshields the same way as Void Overshields. If anything, Stasis Overshields are worth less. Chains, Shiver Strike, and Crystals are your only real survival tools.
As for Glacial Quake, I use it all the time for bosses, even when dealing with a Tormenter or two. That super does a lot of damage by itself (which is great because it does not benefit from Fissures or Synthos), which is usually enough to kill just about anything with a yellow health bar.
Additionally, yes, I did test this: Salvation Grip's crystals benefit from Stasis Surge Mods. Every point of damage goes up. Personally I don't use it; not because I don't WANT more damage, because man would I kill for the damage numbers Solar and Strand can get. No, the real problem is the lack of survivability. I need Recuperation, I need Heal Clip, I need any kind of real healing I can get. Rime gives you the illusion of keeping you safe, it doesn't actually protect you.
... Yeah all I do is play Behemoth. From what I learned, it's best to play Behemoth like a Darkness-themed Bulwark. Defend, smash, feel good.

      @AndrewR.Ludlow 3 месяца назад

I just started playing since Destiny 1. I found that I also love Behemoth the most. I thought rine was good, so what would you replace it with? Conduction?
I found DL extremely fun, but it was hard to aim so I just ran and did the slam, but found I'd die half the time. I do howl instead, though you have to get close for that as well.

    • @burgscratch6301
      @burgscratch6301 3 месяца назад +3

@@AndrewR.Ludlow Yep, Conduction! The amount of energy that can be gained is so nice. In conjunction with armor mods, you can get so much class ability energy in seconds. With that high energy uptime, that comes with more opportunities to stun champs, block parts of the map, and shatter things.
As for DL, I go for a case-by-case basis mix of yeeting and dunking. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to just freeze a guy solid by throwing it. I mean the projectile speed is nice.
For context as to why I look down on Rime: originally, I always used it for the amount of health I can get back. The overshield was a cherry on top, but the real meat of the survivability was always the burst healing gained from every Shard. Even if the overshield got shedded often, I am at least getting a nice amount of health. But with the healing nerfed to almost nothing, the main selling point is just a overshield that's hard to get and easy to lose.

Cool vid my man, but I would suggest changing a couple things,
    1. I believe that titans have a lot of ways to shatter crystal, starting with the salvation's grip that has an intrinsic perk designed for that (unless you are worried too much about wasting heavy ammo, but can be fixed with heavy ammo finder), another way to destroy those crystal is with shiver strike (which you're not gonna be using to kill or even trying to hit something as you would know the incredibly hard challenge with it), with a single normal melee you can destroy i believe 1 or 2 crystals and the shockwave destroys crystals too, and also the wave frame grenade launcher that destroys crystals in touch, so cryoclasm can be swapped with diamond lance for an additional fragment slot and a long range freezing mechanic,
    2. This additional slot will enable you to equip another damage resistance fragment like whisper of rime (anyways Bungie should fix this fragment because it doesn't give you any overshield while your health is lower than 100%) , as the only way to heal and resist with stasis Titan is gonna rely on armor mods, weapon perks and exotics, maybe if you feel too confident on this side of things you could instead use whisper of rending which is gonna allow you to destroy crystals even easier, another fragment I would swap is whisper of torment with whisper of conductions, as whisper of shards is already giving you 500% energy recharge from shattering crystals so you're already having enough of that, and ember of conduction makes your shards to follow you so you will not even have to go to where they are and risk yourself to be killed by some big as* boss that you're trying to crystal spam on him, and giving you good stats for reaching the so desired triple stat build.
For even higher survivability you could swap hoarfrost for armamentarium, so you could just be a long range crystal generator and shatterer, which is the main point of this build in this type of pve event (idk about hoarfrost vs armamentarium real comparison in benefits from one or another, but I believe that hoarfrost is slightly better because of the armor mods interaction and stuff like that)
PD: i forgot to mention that your seasonal artifact mods are a waste, how are you supposed to trigger flint striker if youre not using any solar weapon? Stasis titan has no other way to activate radiant, so it means youre also wasting kindling trigger, torch, revitalizing blast, and rays of precision

Got a titan build very similar with a few different things to maximize freezing mainly. I don't think it is good for true high-end, end-game content as I've never really gone beyond legend but it does work really well.
Aspects: Tetonic Harvest, Diamond Lance - Mainly Diamond Lance for the extra fragment slot and also have another source of freeze and damage that is mobile.
Fragments: Whisper of Bonds, Whisper of Chains, Whisper of Shards, Whisper of Torment, Whisper of Fissures
Grenade: I personally like Coldsnap since it seeks out targets, making them easier to freeze. But if we wanna stick to the wall idea, then glacier grenade works all the same.
Exotics I run are Hoarfrost and Ager's Spectre. The original setup I had was with Armamentarum but Hoarfrost gets me those extra stasis crystals to get on-demand protection. Ager's does wonders for slowing, freezing, and distance for targets.
Other weapons I use are a Calus mini tool for primary ammo with Incadenst. Mainly a backup to Agers. And a Typhon GL5 with a Demolitionist and Chill Clip perks. It's not one-for-one Salvations but it gets the job done super well.
    Mods:
Head: Special Ammo finder, heavy scout, harmonic siphon
Arms: Firepower and then two stacks of Impact Induction or Boilstering Detonation
Chest: Charged up then damage resistances
Legs: Double Stasis Weapon Surges and Recuperation. Elemental Charge would also work wonders here. I just like to play it safe sometimes with free health.
Mark: Reaper, Bomber and I rock Time Dilation because getting a minute of a 17% weapon damage buff with two really good stasis weapons is pretty nice.
Call me an idiot for this setup if it is bad. Any help to improve my builds will be greatly appreciated.

Boss damage fase switch to a ranged stasis weapon and apply duskfield grenades. Put down barricade, collect the shards and ramp up your stasis surge, then throw a duskfield right at the boss and begin damage. 👍 pick your poison on the heavy, fire and forget, palmyra with lasting impression, cold comfort. It will probably do the job well.

Swap out that smg for Riptide or Unending Tempest with a demo/head stone roll. Swap out Forbearance for Indebted Kindness, your choice of rolls (I use a beacon rounds/ surrounded) IK is great for taking out stasis crystals. UT builds great into that load out. More crystals and more grenade regen.
Don't be afraid to use more Salvations Grip too. Especially during bosses, unload it everywhere. Lock the adds up. Bosses can self damage on those crystal if they move around and break them. Causing lots of AOE and collateral damage on rank and file mobs. If you're in a fire team, suggest grenade and rocket launchers for DPS. Weapons with blast radius can cause more crystals to crack, which equals even more damage.

  • @haych569

This is even better with Howl of the Storm and ACD0 Feedback Fence. You still get a normal barricade (which quasi-blinds enemies who pass through it, effectively "blocking" an area as is), but you turn your otherwise less useful melee ability into additional crystals for blocking off spawns. Just hitting targets with the crystals grants armor charges, which can be used with melee kickstart and different fragments which enhance melee regen (like Whisper of Hunger) to have constant melee spam. Merely having armor charges grants melee resistance, scaling with armor charges. If a target gets past your wall of crystals and wants to melee you, your charges get eaten and you do a jolting burst to everything around you.
I find it to be a much more interesting and aggressive playstyle Having to stop to plant my barricade all the time with Hoarfrost really slows things down, and I can make even more crystals using other exotics (Armamentarium, HOIL, etc)

I think I would use Armamentarium instead of Hoarfrost, like the build author mentioned. Double Glacier Grenades would be better if you wanted throw cover from a distance more often. Also, that would open the door to use Elemental Charge with Stasis Surge more. Whisper of Conduction would also be nice if you can't get close enough to any shards. Maybe also use Howl of the Storm instead of Cryoclasm to have another source of Stasis crystals?

Watching this version of my favorite GM build hurts my heart. In its final form it’s ridiculous.
    Changes I would make -
Swap out Cryoclasm for Howl the Storm or Diamond Lance.
Depending on map encounter I changed between them, Diamond Lance gives you 3 fragment slots also.
I run Durance, Shards, Fissures, Rending for fragments
    Mods
    Helmet- Arc and/or Harmonic Syphon
    Heavy Finder, Ashes to Assets
Arms- Mele Kickstart of running Howl the Storm, Grenade Kickstart if not. Firepower
Chest- Resistance of Choice, Charged Up, Reserve mod
Legs- Surge of choice, Elemental Charge, ability energy on orb pickup of choice
Class Item- Reaper, Time Dialation, Powerful attraction of space
Weapons - Primary: Wicked Implement/ Vergals Curve or Legendary Stasis with Headstone.
Special- Indebted Kindness with Volt Shot (this is S tier) or Forbearance with Chain Reaction.
Heavy - Legendary GL of choice. I like Cataphract or new Edge Transit if bossing. Hububaloo with Chain Reaction if as clearing.
Exotic - Salvations Grip or Dragons Breath.
Note: Salvation is best when used with 1 charged shot and then uncharged follow ups for the bonus damage.
    My game play loop-
Freeze everything. Use volt shot or chain reaction special to destroy frozen mobs. Howl the Storm is great for stopping champs. Glaciar grenade should be on near infinite uptime. Barricade is used to lockdown areas and also provide shards for ability regens.
Super can be used to deal massive shatter damage if you stand back a bit from boss and just keep stacking crystals and shattering.
Wicked Implement really shines on this build. Can deal with every champ in some way and procs crystals and shards that track to you.
I cleared every GM this season with this build as well as every other hard piece of content like Master Dungeons and Raids.
Some fun changes with exotic armor-
Precious Scars for near constancy healing.
Icefall Mantle for ridiculous Stasis weapon surge for bossing.
(This also pairs well with Aeger’s Scepter for some solid damage output)

2 things. Howl of the storm,Slide into power melee wasn’t included but it should have, it is very strong. For tanky boys you layer your crystals (grenade into wall into charged heavy) then used an uncharged grenade to delete them, the shatter damage melts them. You should definitely run a second subclass loadout for the boss waves. But this build is very competitive and will clear Lego 50

If you have howl of the storm equipped and you use the super... you can still slide and do the melee to cast howl instead of the super charged shiver strike. Completely changes dps and the empowered howl shatters instantly and doubles your crystal spawn rate and doesn't take super energy... and instead just rapidly recharge the melee. Just a good fact for my behemoths out there. Live your frosty dreams with insane crystal spawning and more super time and shattering. I've used this build for about a year. Made for gms and i love it. Just run bolsters and Kickstart and dynamo. Use elemental charge and charged up and you got unlimited loops. And honestly final warning is better than salvation. Make everything unraveled and bc of this season you make threadlings

@KingXxXJarobe np brother. Everyone complains about shiver strike and if you use behemoth for dps you only ever slam. Now while you're waiting to slam again you can sprint for half a second slide then instantly slam back down bc howl takes you into the air. So fun and man the dps 👌
