how would i paint over shedding fiberglass? i don't particularly want to deal with gelcoat but i don't want to have to soak it in paint
(there's no gelcoat and the paint that was on it is gone, its bare fiberglass)
(oh and its a truck topper shell)

We would suggest prepping the surface til it's smooth and you are happy with it. Then using adhesion promoter, then filler primer and then finally a topcoat. paintman.co.uk/applying-coach-enamel-to-fibreglass/

    No clear coat?

Clear coat is optional with our 1k paint, you get a high gloss finish from the top coat. Clear coat is beneficial to add a layer of protection from weather and extreme use.
