Was she taken by the Taotaomo’na, as some locals believe, or was it foul play by someone she knew? Give me some advice or suggestions and I will check it out.
Hmm, when i was there in 1975-76 (age 11-12). the Chamorro kids told us stateside kids the evil spirits lived in these Banyon Trees, I'm thinking they were the same as the Taotaomo’na. Even though we lived in an area of Dededo, it wasn't hard to find areas of "jungle" to us kids. There was an issue with stray dogs sometimes attacking kids, we were worried about that but also scared of the jungle when it was getting dark!

I want to share what was passed to me from the CHamoru elders . At about 22:52 on your video (poison berries .) That plant is called, Lemmon Di China in CHamoru or Lime Berry in English. The fruit has a bittersweet taste . It is not poisonous if eaten. The red fruit of the Lemmon Di China was an important food for the Totot (Marianas Dove) , a native bird which is now extinct on Guam.
Oh, must’ve gotten it confused with another berry tree. Through these comments, I also learned that ancient Chamorita’s would use them to color their finger nails. Thanks for this info, I won’t machete them now.
💔 for Deondra's family 🙏 I hope they find closure. The Taotaomona trees are amazing. The trees look so mysterious. I've never seen anything like it. I hope you walk the 1000 steps so we can see more of the trees. Awesome trailer! Spooky 👻
I believe you. With my Christian/Catholic background, I’m not supposed to believe in it. But I had a couple encounters which made me think differently.
The best clue is where they found her slippers. That could help give an idea of where to look. Hopefully someone with knowledge of this case can pinpoint where on the trail they found the slippers.
Yes, I didn’t think of that, thank you 🙏🏽 I’ll look, if I’m unsuccessful, hopefully someone will read your comment and come forward. Thanks again, much appreciated.
That plant w the red berries is called (lemon de tsina) our female ancestors used the juice from the fruit as a clear nail polish to have nice nails. Try it out sometime if you find the berries. Love your videos che'lu
I remember seeing this missing girl on KUAM. They brought a Suruhana there at Thousand Steps. There was no trace of her except her zories. Suruhana said she was taken by taotaomonas as a pet for them. They shrunk her and put her inside a coconut.
@ the authorities need to check if they are any pedophiles living around the area around where the teen disappeared and they can also ask the fbi for assistance and I wonder if the case is still open or did they give up and another thing that might work is put up a 50thousand dollar reward like they did for the tourist that was murdered.
@@frankiefernandez9225 Yes, yes, yes to all. I don't have the connection to get the feds involved, nor fifty grand, but I can ask around if any known pedophile live around the area. I'm so desperate to find her, I plan on spending a couple nights there "alone" - and against my Catholic/ Christian background, I'm try to communicate with the Taotaomo'na's to find out if they had anything to do with it, or if they saw anything. Thanks for your advice, much appreciated 🙏🏽
Hey broc, I’m using a DJI Mini 4, less restriction due to its weight of 249 grams. Try flying now, because I heard they just stopped geofencing. Not sure if it’ll make any difference tho.
Hafa adai planet guam!🇬🇺 Would love to see you do a documentary of the over fishing by the chuukese fishermen who go out on there boats almost everyday. They launch out of Agat marina and agana boat basin. I’m a fisherman too and I know these guys dive the preserve in merizo I’ve seen them there and even chased them away. Then they sell it to mom and pops stores in Harmon. They making a living off of our natural resources and when the time comes to where we need to depend on those resources I wanna make sure we Chamorros and everyone who calls guam home have that resource and it’s not depleted. I’m hoping that if you chose to make a video the right people will see it and make a change or new laws about fishing commercially on Guam. Thank you 🙏
Man, that’s so wrong. Nobody, regardless of ethnicity, is exempt from this law, and there’s a reason it was placed “Sustainable for future generations” Only greedy, uneducated people would do this. I hope they get caught. I don’t have the necessary equipment to shoot at night. You’ll need those real expensive camera and telephoto zoom lenses to catch them in the act. The News would be much better suited for this. I can help them though, if they agree.

@planetguam8475 that tree has very strong wood that is good for making wooden crafts like a katsa for husking coconut
