    What a great video. You really showed how important it is to be fitted by an expert. Golfers don't realize how much accuracy and yardage they are leaving on the table. Keep up the great work guys. I love watching these fittings and relating it to my game.

    You can't fake the excitement of someone who has that feeling of confidence in their equipment. This couldn't have been easy to put together this experienced staff so duplication of TXG will not be easy. Hmmm stay and fit experience in Toronto looking like a valuable option. Thumbs up.

    Thanks I went to my local golf store to get a driver fitting. I learned so much from your videos and put it to use. I tried the M4 and Rogue against my current Nike Ignite 460. All stiff flex, my carry distance was around 225 with total at 245 or so about 20 yards roll out. I was hitting draws to hooks with all three and my spin was at 3200 rpm. My launch angle was around 12 degrees which is probably a little low. I then tried a used 2017 M1 9.5 with Aldilla Rogue Silver 70 gram shaft set to middle on both sliders. My launch angle went up to 13 or 14 and my spin dropped almost by 1000 rpm down to around 2300 well guess what my drives went average of 248 carry with around 273 total. Thanks guys for amazing work teaching us average golfers how to maximize our potential and improve our games.

    I watched my first TXG video about a week ago and there isn't enough time in the day to get catch-up and devour all the content. Safe to say I'm binge watching this channel now albeit a bit out of of order. I'm watching them as they relate to categories that currently interest me but man, this is awesome stuff. I was fit for the first time in my life (for irons) a couple months back and while it was a good experience, I had nothing to compare it to. Now I'm not as confident I got the best advice/ result.
    I'll forever have fitting envy after being introduced to this channel. Keep up the great work!

    What a nice video. It started like me hitting everywhere on the side of the fairway but finishes so nicely with the ball in the fairway all the time. Tell's me I've got to get fit with the mind of sending the ball in the fairway. No more drive for show for me. Thank you TXG Tour Experience Golf. I've got to find time to visit you guy's even with my 97 mph swing.

    I like that you can optimize for a particular brand or the driver head that a customer may already have. Us weekend golfers don't have the kind of dough to always buy new clubs. Maybe just a new shaft that we can have for years to come and adjusting the head to the best spot can help that much more.

    The most consistent advantage I've noted since your channel started, is how much confidence each fitting session has engrained with those who've gone thru the process. This is true golfers of every skill level. For those making the (substantial) investment in the hard goods, it's great to know the wand fits the wizard...

    If any Americans are in the comments here wondering why Canada has a lot more lefty golfers - it's a hockey thing. We're taught to use our dominant hand on the top of the stick, and therefore a lot of right handed players actually shoot left. When these guys that grew up with hockey transition into golf, it's a bit more natural to continue the lefty trend. This isn't an absolute rule, of course; Wayne Gretzky golfs right yet played hockey lefty.

I attempted talking to them about some of the things I learned from these videos like what back spin i would like to see and taking a look at different shafts. I would be interested if you could go through a fitting like this and then at the end when the player is fully warmed and hitting nice shots and in a good relaxed mental state because they found their new club, then have them hit 4 more with their original club and check those numbers against the first time they hit their club and the final numbers with the new club.

    This is yet another great video. Is there anyway you can do a video comparing the stock shafts that come with driver against the aftermarket shafts. I see you fit him in a kuro kage, I am guessing it's not the same as the one that comes standard on some driver. Would be great to see how inconsistent the specs are on the off the shelf shafts. People write about it but no one has show any data or info, I believe it but would like to see it and I'm sure it's what a lot of people need to stop and think before they buy their next driver. If you can without getting into hit water.

Result: 20 yards extra distance + 20 yards off dispertion, Very happy indeed. except for one thing ? the cost of up grading. However I am saving for it.

    Another great video TXG team! You guys do such a good job, I eagerly anticipate your next "episode", knowing that I will learn something new , guaranteed. Great to see how tweaking the loft, head profile and shaft types can lead to greater consistency. From everything I am seeing from you guys and others online, the MOI story on the G400Max seems to be real....sounds like you guys are typically seeing increased stability for all types of golfers, correct? I am currently gaming G30SFT - how much gains are you seeing in general from players that get fitted into the G400Max? I understand that improvement will vary due to individual player swing characteristics, but I presume with the ideal fitting process, you could project a general range of upside one can expect...

    • @clubchampionmedia
      @clubchampionmedia  6 лет назад +1

      We're seeing amazing results with that G400 MAX. And even just taking this video for example, Paul has tested all the Ping drivers for the last several years, and he really took to this one nicely. The MOI and stability are awesome!

    • @anthonymckenzie7951
      @anthonymckenzie7951 6 лет назад

      Another question....to confirm what I have learnt from you guys on the channel - I am gaming the G30SFT with the Ping Tour 65 R shaft (was moved from S to R in a fitting almost 3yrs ago, because I had difficulty getting the ball in the air back then). Now, my driver swing has improved quite a bit, I am getting high launch, but excessive backspin. My drives typically land and go backwards vs. forward roll. I need a stiffer shaft now, correct? Feels like I am getting too much head deflection at impact, leading to the high spin. Does that make sense? Would you anticipate the Tour 65 S giving me better results?

    • @clubchampionmedia
      @clubchampionmedia  6 лет назад

      He did a bit which helped bring the strike up slightly. Paul's a very good player, just a bit of off-season rust, I'm sure he'll be back to the middle of the clubface in no time.

  • @brentkrug
    @brentkrug 6 лет назад +1

    Very Cool......I would bet the same thing would happen if you were doing Sub Zero vs Rogue heads or M3 vs M4 heads with same shafts. Seems like the avg heads at around 9 degrees play close to lower launch version heads in 10/ 10.5 range. I also wonder how much of him hitting it a bit low on the face was psychological as far as simply the look of the face....shape, color, whatever. I know I have had certain heads that just look funky to me and I would strike them low.......and a different look with same specs I hit better just because of a mental thing....looked better

    Great video! One question though; why didn't you say nothing about the club length? Isn't it so that by shortening the length, you may lose some ball speed but gain may be consistency and hit more the centre of the club head?

    • @clubchampionmedia
      @clubchampionmedia  6 лет назад

      That can be the case for some, but for a player as consistent as Paul, his goal was to gain a bit more yardage and already strikes the ball well at 45"

    What would you say if the numbers where 158-160 ball speed, 260-279 Total with 10 degrees of launch.
    Too much spin, to low launch?
    Great information as always guys! :D

      Would look for launch closer to 13º with spin around 2500rpm ideally.

    Cool fitting, just a thought but from the angle of the video it looks like he is teeing it up pretty high (ball looks completely above the head) if he came down a fraction could that improve his strike point?

    • @clubchampionmedia
      @clubchampionmedia  6 лет назад

      In this case the average strike was actually a bit on the low side, so the higher tee would (in theory) bring the strike point higher.

    Does anyone ever fit a stock shaft? What about even the tour shafts from ping?

    What about a tpt shaft for Paul? TPT 16 MKP/MT/SW?

      We're sure he wouldn't have minded it at all! 😉 Just wanted to throw a few different shafts in the mix as we've done quite a few videos with the TPT recently.

    So I currently game the G400 LST, Reg Flex, Stock Alta CB55 shaft. Swing 100mph. If I swing it smooth and easy I can make it go straight, but as soom as I go after it a little I fight a miss to the right. Starts straight then just slowly fades and keepa fading. (Some swing issue to work on Ik, but I do play a fade even with my irons). Is the LST poss too low spinning causing that miss? Is there a better shaft recommendation? Just some general advice would be helpful.

    With hitting low on the face surely a tee 1/4" taller would solve that

    can we combine driver fitting with putter fitting?

    • @clubchampionmedia
      @clubchampionmedia  6 лет назад

      You could certainly book a driver session and putter session back to back at the studio.

    Hey Guy's. What does making your driver more upright do? Thanks in advance

      Generally speaking it would limit a slice or push, similar to what occurs with an iron.

    Would you ever consider giving him a shaft that's 1/4 inch longer to improve strike?

    • @clubchampionmedia
      @clubchampionmedia  6 лет назад

      Would be worth a try Jason. Paul is a very good player though, he would likely have that worked out by the next session. It's been a long winter up here!

    Do you guys have a trusted fitting colleague in the NYC area who's got the similar breadth and depth of knowledge that Ian has? I may take a quick flight to Toronto to see you anyway but would be nice to avoid that in the short term.
