I remember seeing that Chex Mix commercial. I thought the mom that kept saying “we’ll wait for an invitation” was weird even as a little girl. I also remember watching the Holiday McNugget commercial and the “Chicken Littles” ad on my parents’ “Christmas Tape.”
The best Sunday Night at the Movies on NBC ever will always be the time that the Galactic Empire hijacked the broadcast and showed The Empire Strikes Back.
09:41 - chaps, Stetson, English leather, brut 33, British sterling, canoe.. true classic scents that are still available. Didn’t see old spice tho... Edit 14:36 - there it is
Those KFC commercials with music from the 50s and 60s were obviously aiming for the crowd who grew up in that era. have to wonder what songs from the 80s and 90s they would use today to appeal to adults. Anyone want a KFC single set to "Smells Like Teen Spirit"?
Teen Wolf-the MTV show would be in name only Fuji Videotapes-R.I.P George Carlin Mcdonalds Holiday Nuggets-let's see if Rick and Morty were to complain about the lack of cranberry and apple dipping sauces lol Coors Light-loved that version of the jingle Today-Jeremy Irons looked much different back then Sing Your Own Messiah-and recieve a free gift? Matlock-The Santa Strangler strikes Coors-not a good idea to ogle the waitress while your wife is sitting right there
I had teen wolf taped off NBC as a three year old...exact same commercials. This takes me back. Thank you for this!
