Downtown is looking better the biggest eye sore is Hudson motor cars. There interested buyers for that. The restaurant scene is below average and over rated. Basically garbage nothing authentic Boston would be a better idea that is why I drive out there even though I live in the downtown. Some of the owners think they hot stuff or ones that think they are better and more unfortunately.
The cost is getting higher unless you rent from one of the slumlords and there are a few my weekly rent is $160 a week great for the budget no bugs etc.
I also know the rail trail flat bread does NOT make the dough they buy it pre ready I saw the delivery truck out back it was from a company in NJ then they switched to Boston original pizza. The food is of low quality instead better flavor. They don't have a dough mixer downstairs. And when expanded more indoor space there was no machine or prep area to show the public's eye what they are about. The 3 owners are more concerned with keeping the business going and money coming. They have NO culinary training ever. That is why they hired a staff group. They make obnoxious jokes and other stuff I hear from someone who worked at that place. Maybe a better management later on.
I so wish I could afford to move there!
