This time out, after ordering a hammer and dolly set off Amazon, I’m going to attempt to take the dent and bumps out of the front fenders of Little by Little, my 1979 Peterbilt. A little heat goes a long way to help bang those dents out. One step closer to paint…
Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for all the comments, suggestions, and support!

Really like the new intro. Those stacks on the Iron Duke holy smokes they are a work of art. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there.
Good video Mark.
When using oxy acetylene torches. Remember!!!!
It was the saying that was taught to us in shop class buy our teacher.
When lighting and shutting your torches off......
A before O or up you go.
LBL is looking Good!!!!!
Had too put them on mine ! Mine was new in 88 when I got my first service truck kept the same body till 2012 🤦♂️
A before O, either way you go.
Thats how i was taught as well.
Looking good 🙂
The flashback arrestors should be installed directly on the torch handle, many torches made in the past 20 years have built in arrestors. Victor brand torches have 2 letters after the model number which are F and C with the F standing for flashback arrestors and C standing for check valves. Victor started producing torches with patented built-in flashback arrestors in 1995.
I worked part time in a body shop when I was 16 and my boss always said you should be able to do bodywork in the dark. Never trust your eyes and always trust your hand. 30 years later it still holds true.
You should get a rosebud tip
My shop teachers voice in my head “A before O or up you go”….
A option to save money on acetylene is to use propane ,at stelco in camrose we used natural gas which was piped all over the plant, and I would recommend shutting off the gas first before the oxygen. Also a rosebud for heating instead of the cutting torch
Mark the reason for turning the acetylene off first is with the oxygen still on it will blow any burning gas out of the torch to prevent a backfire from residual gas in the torch.
was looking for this comment lol plus you don't get the black smoke there is enough of that when you light up
Opening your sign was definitely squirrel moment 😂
It’s coming together will be super satisfying to see the primer and paint to go on the best truck you got no knock on the other 2 but there is just something about little by little 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🇨🇦😎✝️✝️✝️
The new intro is ok but I think you need to put "oh yea" back in. I've been watching your videos fro the start and the "oh yea" is iconic. IMHO. Love what you do.
Acetylene on and off first 😁
Pete looking good. Doing my gto (to bare metal) now…. A lot less real estate 😂😂
Ohhhhhh yeahhhh wooooooo 🤘 Colorado Cool aid..🤙
You make an Amazing Job. With so much Passion and Heartblood.
You know, these old Trucks have a Soul. And everything what you give the Truck,he will give you Back.
When Mark installed the arrestor and checked for leaks I was thinking “You don’t need to worry abooot safety!”
In all seriousness there are people who do dent repair by heating and tapping the metal with small hammers instead of the conventional method of fillers. It would be neat to have a practitioner of the method work his magic on the project.
Those white fenders will look so awesome with that blue colored cab...all that body work is just a one time investment
Easy Beavis 😂😂😂fire..fire..fire!!lol...good times.. morning Twinsticks garage family ❤🇨🇦🇺🇸❤️
I didn't realize the whole body was made of aluminum. Working with aluminum is an art for sure! Doing a Great job!
always lookin forward to Thursdays!
Great episode mark! Makes me motivated to pop over and do some welding!!
Sheet metal work is like controlled therapy. Keep going she will look good.
Finally the truck that started it all getting some work I’ve been loosing my mind seeing it put on the back burner behind 3 other projects
Ol twin sticks is getting her done me and my son have been watching you from the beginning it's our weekly tradition keep up the great work sir you are a class act if you wouldn't mind to give him a shout out on one of your videos his name is Memphis he is 13 been trucking with me since he was a baby it sure would make his day
Good bodywork takes forever to accomplish. It pays huge dividends once painted, but it is truly a labor of love. When it comes to tools, most often you do get what you pay for.
The more you prep little by little the more beautiful it looks in silver
To get the right temp into aluminium, rub the area with a bar of soap before applying heat. When it turns black, you’re good to go 👍
hello Mark & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool thanks Mark Friends Randy
Loved the new intro Mark .
Wow took me till 9:30 to watch this video and the new intro was cool ! Just miss the shifting of little by little at the end !
luv the classic VH,,,,then some Jerry Reid then back to good old Waylon
Wow Mark he did do amazing job on the iron duke
Sure did👌
I lightly mist flat black spray paint as a guide coat. Learned that from sprayway customs here on youtube. As a matter of fact every I learned about body work I learned off of his channel
Looking good Mark.
I give you a lot of credit for taking the time to prep and repair those panels. I woulbe awfully tempted to simply huck some new skins on and call er' a day
Coming along nicely mark 👍
Brilliant work mark.....
The only reassuring thing about all that prep work is that the paint is Yet to Come....
Seeing the old girl naked like that reminds me of the Duel truck....
loving the new intro !!
17:22 the Jerry reed playing in the background got you a new sub man love the channel
You know Mark I have watched you use your platform for working on all 3 trucks now, I watched you use it out side in the winter working on Little By Little, in the snow, then you have been using it on the Kenworth's, when and if you ever get done with all three trucks you should sign it, hang it on the wall then put build pictures on it, it sure has lasted longer than those hammers.😁Outstand value for a pice of plywood and some 2x4's🙃Thanks for the video.
Great work! Blake doing wicked job! Little By Little going to look like a brand new truck when you are done! Nice to see her get some lovin!
That bracket on the CB is antique. I bought one of those for a pioneer stereo in my car back in 1977 !!
When you finally get to working on the T/A, its gonna seem like a vacation,...thats a HELL OF A LOT OF BODYWORK..!!
Body man tip. Use your bare hand to feel the dents.
During construction at the mosaic k3 site, a welder left his torch cart at the bottom of the stairs in the headframe. It flashed back and lit up the bottle. One of my guys was trapped above it, luckily there was a c can they were using for tooling while sinking shaft close enough to the catwalk he jumped on to the c can, then out of the headframe. That bottle blew and split open like a banana. Sounded like a bomb went off, felt the rumble in tbe atco trailers. That incident brought about a lot of changes, both in personnel and procedures.
New intro! Nice!
Always a good day when twin stick posts!
Hey Mark, Well One of These Days Ole LBL Might Look Better Than Snoman Truck! Great Show as Always, Keep up the Great Work!@ 👍 This is "The Snoman" From WA State , 40 Yrs. TRUCKIN, AL☃️⛄️
Looking great TS! in honor of the time of year.. "She's a beaut Clark!"
Hey mark I’m a kid from Australia who likes trucks and I was think you should put like padding under the fender like
They do over here. Keep up the do work though👍👍🇦🇺
It will stop the rocks from putting dents in it😂😂 I forgot to add that in😂😂
You're getting there, little by little. Pun intended, lol
Thanx Mark for another fun & interesting video! I totally your knowledge of the work & your willingness & yearning to learn more, but that you stay true to yourself & do it mostly your way! Can't wait ta see LBL finished & standing next to Snowman!
OOOOPS! I totally enjoy your knowledge! Giggles
also, use your bare hand when you're feeling for imperfections it helps a lot.. great job mark
MARK, you changed your intro to include Snowman! Thanks! 😊
tip .. always shut fuel off first then oxygen
Ohhhh she’s gonna look so sweet stoked to see the outcome
To keep the flame from going down line shut acetylene off first than the oxygen
I'm suffering from a throat infection, but an episode of working on LBL makes my day batter by a lot
I hope you get better soon, and hopefully by Christmas 🎄.
thank you
Got faith in you mark saw that on snow man the 359 will be a . SHARP. Machine when you are done .
9:52 "Settle down there Beavis" 😂
Keep up the good work and watching the episode your put out
Nice refresh on the video introduction!
Kind of a lost art but I remember my grandfather doing body work on an old truck, he leaded any hole with hot lead and spoons. That was before plastic body filler.
Finally back to work on LBL!! This truck started my love for A models. K100s, and 359s. I hope to one day rebuild an A model or a 359 with my dad and send him out on the road in it! Hopefully before he gets to old to live out of a classic truck.
Another awesome video from you, thanks and keep them coming soon. 👍
Those exact CB radio slide mounts were very popular here in the UK back in the 80's.
Thanks mark I really appreciate you
A NICE JOB SO FAR MARK, ENJOYED THE VID, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
🎉Congrats on 140k Mark🎉
Oh NOOO! You took the "yieah" scene out of the intro!!!
I don't know how you do it Mark. I couldn't leave that shop locked all week knowing they were in there waiting for Saturday.
Gives me something to look forward to 👍
Hey Mark. Lincoln makes an exhaust elbow meant for freightliner and it’s a short 90 elbow just to save you some time in case you didn’t already know. 😊
G'day Mark, Great soundtrack I was really liking it.
Nice new opening, Mark
It's another Thursday!
Them stacks are looking great .you be a new keg on your coors by time little by little done lol.great video.
I use a propane torch because I can be careless sometimes with oxy acetylene and propane is simple... also look into a shrinking disk for a 4" grinder. there should be a RUclips video on how to use one.
might wanna invest in a rosebud for your torch mark. works great for metal working
Water under the bridge...but you'd have been soo much further ahead with a soda blast on the truck. Removes paint, safe on chrome & aluminum as well. A future thought for when it's time to get the Duke ready for body work.
Just listened to ' Bud The Spud from PEI ' Tom Collins . Wow that's really looking good on the fenders. Cool sign too.
New intro footage. Like it 👍👍
Cant wait to see the primer and paint on the Pete.
I Love the New Intro Mark, It's really cool!
Anyway, Don from Ankeny, Iowa here and back in the 70's when My Dad had a CB Radio in His Car He had the same type of Mount.
It's called a Slide Mount or at least that's what He always called it!! LOL 😁 😆
I'm a former Truck Driver as well and I Love what You do!
Keep up the Great Work Brother!
Take Care and God Bless.
