- In this episode I finally finish the exhaust on Marks 79' K100.
In this video you'll see cutting, welding, grinding and the final installation of a custom exhaust inspired by supercar exhaust. I think I made the largest automotive exhast in the world!
Big thank you to Mark @TwinStix for letting me create my vision.

"and remember, if a Trucker brought it - a Welder fabbed it"... ')
One of a kind system , I can see where many would jump on this '
Hope they do. Think I can honestly say I did it first with this project
I apologize too mark that I can’t do patron accounts / fixed income ! But now I will subscribe too this and watch ! Thank you !
I appreciate it and mark is working hard to provide all his content. The guy is a machine when it comes to getting multiple projects done
Impressive work Blake !
Awesome video,awesome work
very nice work we just want to hear it now
Me too
Love your work Blake! looked spectacular on the table at the Lesco truck show, but to finally see the final product assembled is amazing
Appreciate it man, hopefully have the duke soon
Nice job! You are a master of your profession!
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job man
Looks great! Question though, why didn't you just weld them from the inside ?
Would be next to impossible to manipulate the torch in the 5”, for the 8” I needed fill rod in places and that would be extremely difficult. Ideally I would purge the inside with argon for perfect welds. I don’t have the gear to do that yet
Snowman truck looks great in the background 👍 Great job on the exhaust 👍
Phenomenal job Blake - can’t thank you enough! 👊
My pleasure!
Fantastic job/work Blake!
I can’t wait to hear it, what a beast. Blake you did an amazing job.
Unfortunately I don't think Mark will post the start up on his main page. Only Patreon members will get to see it.
Mark has the coolest friends, Blake, Dawn, Carmen, Peg etc.
Awesome piece of craftsmanship! I'm a retired plumber, pipefitter so appreciate your skills. As coworker and buddy of mine used to say. Not bad for a northern hand.
That's is a fine piece of Craftsman ship. Amazing!
Nice work, I have always appreciated a unique work, that is a piece of art!
Thank you very much!
6 15= 90
Amazing job. Beautiful piece of artwork!
Those welds are among the neatest and most tidy welds I've seen on any machinery.
It's obvious your proud of the outcome, and so you should be .
Excellent work .
Respect...!
Appreciate it!
Awesome fab work and great seeing a quality tradesman in action. I believe probs not enough flex in the whole thing, but probs fine if it’s not “working” as such. 8” looks massive, will be nice if he finishes the truck to the std of your exhaust system.
Great job!! This question may be more in line for Mark. What about removing them when it's time for paint?
6 bolts and they’re off 👍
I’m a 10 minute drive away. 6 bolts and the stacks are off
I subscribed cause when a guy does get the fever for a fixing and driving trucks...... its all over and his life is no longer with the meer mortal beings. You got a real deal friend in Mark as well so its "Keep the dirty side down"!!
I knew it would be awesome when you got going on the exhaust, I mean you got ol' Peg to go up in your airplane 😅..... Jim
Pegs been up a few times. Need mark to go for a ride now
@@flyweldfabricate that would be a cool 👍 thank you for taking the time to upload your videos much appreciated..... Jim
You did an excellent job, I needed that welder when I worked at Mineke!!!
Beautiful job Blake, well done man!
That is truly a work of art. 2 thumbs up for this job.
Work off art amazing skils men😎👌👌👌👌
Amazing skill, looks awesome!!! Could you make an angled band to weld in at the 5” to 8” connection to cover the squared off look? It’s all smooth round pipe, except there. But as you said it’s a prototype. You should be Proud of yourself, much respect to you Sir
I was going to do a taper fitting but decided on squared off fitting for more clearance around the cab
Looks great you made it so easy keep the videos coming stay safe and take care
Yes we saw that Trans Am before you put the pixelates over it ! And that’s going too be fun too follow ! And that EXHAUST SYSTEM LOOKS AWESOME ! Great job !
Thank you, trying my best not to give any spoilers
Truly an artist. What a beautiful job.
Beautiful piece of work. I’ve never seen such fine work. I’m glad I got the chance to watch.
Thank you very much!
Love the videos from TS garage, and what a tremendous handcraft doing the welding with the stacks. Can't wait the next videos from you. Regard's a truckdriver from Oslo Norway. Love cabover's.😮😊
Thanks 👍
It will have a deep sound, it will sound good.
You should be proud. Amazing work. I hope you get time to film more videos. Oh a 2 haircut video. Lol 😂
😂
Looks KICKASS nice job.
incredible work
Awesome work Blake. You should create a custom exhaust for LBL for Mark. A show truck needs to customized
We got ideas for LBL
The pride you have in doing things right shows in your work awesome job. Can’t wait to here it run!!
Awesome workmanship did you put a bung in for the pyro sensor off the turbo. I'd buy 1 of them before a cookie cutter 1
Not yet, the offset comes off really easy
Those stacks don't need to be that high. Twin Sticks is going a little crazy with this build.
They’re getting trimmed a bit
seems like a lot of work over just buying 5" to 8" elbows
Couldn’t get the centreline radius or look we wanted with over the counter parts
@@flyweldfabricate might should have back purged the pipe when you welded it, some people claim the welds will crack if you don’t protect the back side of the weld from
Oxygen
@JamesPretty didn’t have the gas supply or the dual regulator for it this time
That is bad ass for sure guy's tough and rugged looking.
Looks good!
over from twin sticks
Why leave the truck that was done up next to were your working sparks and dust around be safe to run it out for a bit looks like a big job and looks good what's been done
I trust myself with a grinder more than I do driving marks baby
How tall are you going with the stacks when finished??
About 1/2” shorter then the overhead door
Excellent work
You make it look way to easy... and congrats on being over 3k subs man!
thanks bud! I was shooting for 2k this year. Hopefully crack 5k next year
AWESOME JOB!!!😎😎😎
Excellent work, to bad it's on that truck
Give it a chance. I love a old cab over
When are we going to hear it run through those 8" stacks Mark?
Hopefully soon! I’m eager as well
that 8 inch exhaust will sound amazing when done
I think so too!
Very, very cool! So tell me. Did Mark buy another Peterbilt the other day? He was looking at a very nice 379 day cab conversion at the auction.
Nope. I think mrs twinstix has put her foot down on that lol
LMFAO 🤣🤣 Ok. That turned out beautiful!
Great work!
Love It, WOW
Awesome
This Dude is the one! Great work!
Thank you!
Why are yall blurring out the trans am?
Just tying to not give spoilers to marks progress and projects
I love ya Twinsticks but I'm just not a fan of the exhaust and frame stretch on this one.
Each to their own
@@flyweldfabricate Yessir that’s true.
And no sound..... 🤏
Awesome job...👍
Going to have to watch that on twinstix channel.
Is that going to fit through the door?!?
Nope.. needs a little trimming and the flappers still
Great job you are a true Craftsman
Appreciate it
You need to make a cool battery box cover out of stainless.
Good idea
Awesome job Blake.
Thank you! Cheers!
Really nice job Blake, Really impressed. The look on Mark's face said it all.
Sweet looks great
Thanks 👍
He is an artist
Appreciate it
Incredible work. Truly a one of one. Hoping others who follow your channel and Marks see what you can do. Certainly custom but can be adapted for several applications on a K100.
Absolutely incredible work Blake! Mark definitely chose the right man for the job. Can't wait to see what else is to come on this project you are helping with! I am a new subscriber to your channel!
You did a very good job especially when mark likes it
Turned out super nice love watching marks channel great work

Beautiful work Blake. Keep up the great work and stay safe out there.
That was excellent work mate. Pure artistry.
Putting Bill to work lol
Thanks for the no BS videos, on the tools within 50 seconds, i appreciate that !
Also killer project BTW!!!
Billy’s still got some work left in him
I think it looks great your the man
You've every right to be proud as the finished product is just perfect👌 it's certainly a big part of making it a show truck.👍
Thanks 👍
Looks Great!!
Are the stacks not going to be mounted to the frame? Or on cab?
They’re mounted to a big brackets which are bolted to the frame. It’s the factory location
looks amazing!!
Looks awesome
Looks awesome, great job
Thank you! Cheers!
