Hey man, I stumbled across your amazing videos because I have the exact same laptop, bought a couple months ago, and when playing, mainly for longer sessions, I get huge crashes, complete shutdowns and even bluescreens sometimes. Do you have any idea what may cause this? This happens the most when playing COD Modern Warfare Warzone, even though my temps are around 60ºC on the GPU and 90º to 100º on the CPU, I've tried undervolting (as you shown in your other videos) but it didn't change anything on this behaviour. Hope you can help! Cheers
I have a stealth 15m and found the same thing. My gpu temps r great (70-75) but my cpu temps r alarmingly high in not very demanding games (80-90) and the percentage of the cpu being used is less than 50%. For example in minecraft the cpu temp can get up to 85, which doesn’t seem right.
Something is definitely off. I have a msi gf63 and two years ago minecraft could run at ~70c. But now the cpu always ramps up max clock speeds causing 85-95c when it's not needed. Not sure if it's the dried thermal paste/dust as i have never cleaned it. Though after some windows updates, when playing games, minecraft, for example ran at 75c, but after few updates things gone back to normal and it started achieving 90-95c again. All and all, i think it's due to some bios or some weird cpu drivers update. But i'll get it cleaned and repasted soon and see if the temperature drops.
I tried to run this version of D.C and it doesn't function well. Am I missing something? Or is this version better and I should fiddle with it some more. Stealth G65 8SE
bro ive been running Extreme Performance mode with Cooler Boost enabled to raise fan speed on my GE76 with i7 and 3080 for just about 5.5 months. im also mining (NiceHash) on the laptop full time if not gaming, so it gets worked like a cheap hooker on payday all day everyday. ive had zero issues with the laptop so far except the silly Steel Series softwear that controls keyboard lighting and the front light bar going to shit a few weeks ago but that has since been solved by Steel Series.
