i there, I have a question about the "Secure Boot" and "Boot Mode" being grey out. I have GE76 11 Raider and by default those options are grey out. You might have a idea on how to get those options access?

Just a comment. Sometimes your laptop will want to boot from the usb after this, so u might need to remove it to make it work
how do i enable intel speed optimizer on i9 10980hk? there is nothing on the bios. Not even updating it with this procedure.

flashing the ge76 3080 firmware on gp66 3080 changes the tgp from 140 to 155w.. is it worth it long term combined with cpu undervolting? please do a guide if you can. thank you
I did the same thing. Also formatted the USB tp FAT32. But in the bios menue, it doesn't show my USB path. :(
My MSI GP66 leopard has an issue when I play New World beta the battery drains even when plugged in however my brother has the same laptop and he doesn’t have this issue and idk how to fix it?

does update to the newest bios mean that the Resizable bar will be turned on automatically. Becasuse I can't find where to turn on it in Stealth 15M, however it shows in my Nvidia system info "Resizabl bar : Yes" Meanwhile the inner screen is still connected to the intel Xe core graphic card......

I called the MSI support cuz my fans been spinning in 2 different RPMs suddenly they told me to update my bios and intel ME firmware , after doing this my temps are insane im on 99% throttle even in idle my temps went from 68 to 90-95 is there any solution ? what does the bios or intel me change to make it that high

Go to nvidia panel top right, find system info and see if resizeable bar is enabled.
i not sure if you can answer this question... but im trying to boot linux on a usb3 ssd drive but it doesnt show up any where but under advanced/ usb config under mass storage devices dont know what to do

Hey man! The way to enable it is update your bios. If It's still not on go into the BIOS. Advanced settings and enable it manually.

Heb een vraag aan jou. Heb ook de GP66. Fan 1 draait eigenlijk continue op 0 of 2400 RPM. Heel irritant. Terwijl het systeem niet belast word. fan 2 staat gewoon uit. Ook wanneer ik het systeem in silent mode draai. Heb jij dit ook? Of is dit een snack in de BIOS en moet ik hem updaten? Zie deze waardes overigens via MSI Dragon Center. Wanneer het systeem belast word gaan fan 1 en fan 2 uiteraard wel draaien. Heb de laptop net 2 dagen en baal er goed van, mn oude MSI uit 2015 maakt minder lawaai zeg maar...
Als ik het systeem via MSI Dragon Center op een custom user scenario zet verandert het RPM wel, maar dit is niet gewenst voor mij. Het zou gewoon goed moeten werken met de standaard opties als Silent, extreme performance etc.
Hoor het graag.
Update: temperatuur zit rond de 35-40 graden van CPU en GPU

Had ik ook. Ik heb wel een custom fancurve ingesteld, en heb de eerste 2 niveaus helemaal op 0 gezet, dan blijft hij vrijwel altijd stil mits hij niet teveel rekenwerk heeft. Meestal blijft je CPU wel

Hey man, if you update to the latest bios, you lose the ability to undervolt, and your gpu throttles at 70c

Ja dat kan. Als je resizeable bar bijv nog niet hebt. Over het algemeen kan het geen kwaad. (Mits je het goed doet)
Door mijn update heb ik resizeable bar aangezet en heb ik in sommige games zo'n 5 a 8 fps meer.
Dankjewel voor je snelle reactie. Dat is niet verkeerd! Raad je het aan om resizeable bar zowiezo aan te zetten? Je raakt er geen fps mee kwijt in sommige titels? Ik heb een ge66 rtx 3080, moet ik dan ook gelijk de vbios updaten?
