Before Christ, I was often overwhelmed with emotions, and destructive thought patterns leading to destructive behaviors. Now, thanks to God, every time something happens, I am way more self-controlled, and I pray and pray. ❤️ I am glad God is so merciful!

Cuz it's good! It cleanses us & renews our spirits! Unrepentant sin turns into a hardened heart, which leads to numbness. It shows others how to release, forgive ourselves/others & heals old & new wounds. We always feel better after a good cry.. 💧😭🌊🌱🌹🌈😇

The bible says that anything that is not of faith in Christ is sin. Romans 14:23 kjv.
Everybody sins. We sin sometimes without realizing it. As long as saved or unsaved people live in a fleshly body on earth, we will sin. Romans 7.
After Jesus died for all our sins, there are no more sin to confess.
Everyone born today is a sinner, yet Christ forgave and died for all our sins. Ephesians 1:7; 2nd Corinthians 5:19 kjv.
He took those sins to the grave and left them there. Then he rose again 3 days later.
*Thats the gospel.* 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv. Thats the good news this world rejects.
If people choose to believe the gospel they are SAVED from Gods eternal rath. If people chose NOT to believe, they will go to hell in thier disbelief.
Do you believe the gospel? Then you are saved and sealed unto the day he redeems you.
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
      -Galatians 2:20 KJV
*Salvation is NOT getting your sins forgiven as it was under Israels plan to inherit thier earthly kingdom BEFOR Jesus was crucified.
Confessing sins was part of the old testiment law covenant between Jesus and Israel. We are not under the law, but under grace, the revelation of the Mystery Jesus gave our apostle Paul (Acts 9).
Today, in the dispensation of GRACE, salvation only comes by GRACE THROUGH FAITH. BELIEVING our sins were ALREADY forgiven.
      Ephesians 2:8 KJV
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"
      Ephesians 2:9 KJV
*"Not of works,* lest any man should boast
No turning, giving you life to Jesus, calling on his name, jumping, confessing, getting your hair wet or praying will get anyones sins forgiven, or save a single soul today.

      Confess sins? What sin?
The sin Jesus was beaten for, bled for, and he died for on a Roman cross on your behalf?
      Ephesians 1:7 kjv
Are you talking about the sin God said He is no longer charging against you?
      2nd Corinthians 5:19 kjv?
The sin that was washed away by Christs blood on the cross?
      Ephesians 1:7 kjv, Colossians 1:20,
The sin that you cant even remember but God took to the grave and rose again the third day without them? 1st Corinthians 15:3-4 kjv?
Are those the sins that youre talking about?
Are those the sins the Bible says Christ paid for in full, put away 2,000 years ago, but for some reason is STILL an issue for you today?
Specifically what sin that God said He is no longer charging against you, needs to be forgiven?
Specifically what sin that God already Judged Jesus Christ for on the cross, do you think needs to be confessed?
      What sin?
Why not just read and believe what Jesus already did with your sins, and rejoice in this good news?
      God did.
Why not simply be pleased with Christs FINISHED work on the cross?
God was well pleased. So was the Holy Spirit.
Why not put full trust in knowing you are saved when you believe the gospel of salvation, and sealed with the Holy spirit of promise until the day Jesus catches you up to redeem his believers?
All those that believe the gospel do.
      1 Thessalonians 4:21, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv
      The Bible says..
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"
      -Rom 6:23
But God made a way for us to be free of the guilt and bondage of sin when God gave His son Jesus to die as payment for all of our sins. Past, present, and future.
*According to Ephesians 1:7, 2nd Corinthians 5:19, and 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv) we simply believe.:*
How Jesus DIED for the forgiveness of our sins according to scripture
Jesus was BURIED and took our sins to the grave, leaving them there
and Jesus ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures
Thats the (1st Corinthians 15:1-4 kjv) GOSPEL OF SALVATION! Put full trust in this plan of salvation, and be saved and sealed until the day of redemption!
*Salvation is NOT working to get your sins forgiven, it's BELIEVING your sins are already forgiven.* (2 Corinthians 5:18-21)
I ask you, if all we have to do is confess our sins today, then why why did Jesus have to die?
Confessing sins was part of the old testiment law. We are no longer under the law, but under grace.
1st Corinthians says those that reject Jesus work on the cross will perish:
1 Corinthians 1:18 - For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Are you an "us" or a "them"?
Lost people will not go to hell because of inforgiven sin. Lost people will go to hell because of unbelief. Because of thier lack of FAITH in what God has already accomplished on thier behalf. Thier unwillingness to reconcile themselves back to God through faith.

Somehow in 3rf or 4th grade religion class it hit me that I didn't need a "go between" to be forgiven or have a personal relationship. I still felt what Judy described until now. Thank you so much!

Unfortunately you and Judy have a right to feel the way you do. Your conscience is trying to tell you that you can lose your salvation if you continually sin. That is the true biblical teaching. Colossians 2:12-13. Never says your future sins are forgiven. It says in context that when you are baptized all your sins up to that point are forgiven. If you sin afterwards then yes you must confess and repent of those sins.

He knows your troubles, he hears you! He is for you, on your side, always! It may feel silent at times, but he’s holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, you will be saved. Period. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. "God always forgives"
Jesus has *already* forgiven ALL of your sins, and the sins of the whole world at the cross more than 1,900 years ago.
The Bible says FORGAVE. Past-tense. God is no longer forgiving because his work at the cross is FINISHED.
      Ephesians 4:32 KJV
"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
      Colossians 1:14 KJV
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"
*Have you heard the gospel of salvation In the Bible?*

      Ephesians 4:32 KJV

      Colossians 1:14 KJV
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:"
      (Ephesians 1:7, Romans 6:23, 2nd Corinthians 5:18-19 kjv )
      Jesus was BURIED
      (Acts 2:29-31; Collossians 2:12 - 14)
and Jesus ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures (1 Corinthians15:44; Acts 1:3)
If you put full trust in what Jesus already did, you are saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption (the rapture)!
Believe not, and stay lost in unbelief. Your choice.. eternity in heaven, or eternity in hell.

We are saved by faith and not by doing good deeds.
But genuine saving faith will always be accompanied by an abundance of good deeds, not anything close to perfection, but at the very least a big effort to do what is right.
If someone says they are saved by faith but is cavalier towards their sins, that is a sign that their 'faith' is a fake kind of faith that doesn't save.
One very relevant biblical passage on this topic is James 2:14-26.

  • @henryodera5726
    @henryodera5726 2 года назад +9

Sometimes I think that we "overconceptualize" salvation. We make it about what we think rather than what is actually happening, and we do this with many other biblical concepts such as righteousness and repentance.
With righteousness, John made it clear:
"Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous."
    I John 3:7 NKJV
There is no fictional righteousness that exists apart from actually doing what is right. Believing God is the right thing to do, hence it is righteous. Doubting God is the wrong thing to do, hence it is unrighteous. In the same way, giving food to the hungry is the right thing to do, hence it is righteous. And again, stealing food is the wrong thing to do, hence it is unrighteous. And we only know that giving food to the hungry is right because we believe God. So you see how believing God is the ultimate righteousness that leads to more righteousness? But what if I claim to believe God, yet I steal food? Am I righteous if I do that? Aren't I calling God a liar if I ever believe that stealing food is the right thing for me to do at any given moment? A little child knows the correct answer to that, and John even writes to the "little children" not to be deceived by any another idea apart from the simple fact that a righteous man is he who (consistently) works righteousness. So for example, a generous man is he who is consistent in his cheerful giving, and not he who gave that one time, and definitely not he who never gives at all.
Now, when it comes to repentance, it is necessary where there is sin, otherwise one is considered to be unrepentant. So unless you have no sin at all, you should repent. And concerning repentance for future sins, how can you repent of something you have not yet even thought of doing? You cannot. You can only repent of things that have already happened. Anyone who preaches to you that it is possible to repent of future sins now is preaching to you licentiousness, which is the opposite of repentance. They are preaching to you impunity, which is the opposite of accountability. For how could I tell my wife: "honey, I'm sorry for what I've and I'll never do it again, and this applies for all those times that I'll offend you in future as well". Is that sincere? Haven't I just broadcasted my intention to offend her in future? And how can a church even discipline one of its congregants if their current sins had already been forgiven when they repented 10 years ago for the first time? Then what are they disciplining them for?
And repentance is not an emotional feeling of guilt and shame, but a correct response to that feeling in making a commitment never to sin again. But feeling sorry over wrongdoing is something that even unbelievers experience everyday without making a commitment to stop sinning. So the true believer is only different in that he makes a serious commitment to stop, and follows through with that commitment. So if you know that you have sin, then you should not even be asking whether you should repent. As a believer, the most natural response to realizing that there is sin in your life is to repent. Unless the Scriptures should ever say to you "no longer repent, for you have already repented", you should repent the moment you realize that there is sin. Not that you should mourn over the same sin over and over again every time you remember it, but that you should repent of every sin that you have not repented of as you are made aware of it. (Also, read how Jesus addresses the Church in Revelation 2-3, knowing that He was addressing and correcting people that He had already accepted as His own, even asking them to repent).

  • @maxaplin4204

To repent of sins is simply to turn away from them. So when Christians sin - as we all do - of course we should turn away from the sin we have just committed. This in no way suggests that the work of Jesus on the cross is incomplete or needs to be added to. It is just to turn away again from what we have done wrong.

I am a Christian who had struggled with false teachings of this verse for over 20 years until the Holy Spirit opened my mind to the truth. Christ set me free from this deception which kept me in bondage to sin. Sadly, many Christians sincerely believe every verse in Scripture is directed at them without understanding the author's intent, to whom the author is addressing, historical context, structural context, proper translation, etc. Shockingly many teachers, who have NOT been taught by the Holy Spirit, continue to teach Scripture without spiritual understanding. Specifically, when one is aware of its historical context, then it is obvious that the letter of 1 John 1 was addressing certain church members at the time which was being invaded by a major heresy called Gnosticism. So, many churchgoers at the time were being deceived by this heresy. Apostle John is actually explaining the Gospel to these people who deny the original sin, who deny any sins' effect on the spirit, etc. One must read 1 John 1:5-10 together to see the overall message of Apostle John, and not take one verse, 1 John 1:9 out of context. These heretics were not Christians, but churchgoers being led astray. Many serious Christian scholars agree that Apostle John is correcting this heretical fallacy. Obviously, we Christians are NOT the target of this message. It is a Gospel Presentation to the unbelievers, and the deceived in the church at that time.
It is exactly this type of false teachings that has confused and paralyzed so many Christians from moving from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant Living, that of intimately knowing God's unconditional love and forgiveness for each of us, and Christ's command to live and practice with the love He gave us (Agape, not conditional human love). Continued false teachings focusing on repeated confessions to receive forgiveness when we have already been forgiven 2000 years ago, revert us back to practicing the rituals of The Law. These Christians are deceived and are still living in bondage to sin. They are not free. This is works-based and was explicitly condemned by Apostle Paul in his letters, Romans. But if you want to confess your sins to God, go ahead if that makes you a better Christian. Just know that your repeated confessions, apologies, or repentances cannot acquire forgiveness because forgiveness required the Incarnation and the bloody Death Sacrifice of the Son of God to achieve this. How dare one think that one can acquire forgiveness by merely kneeling and confessing. You can't be re-forgiven for something God DECIDED to do on his own 2000 years ago.

I’m not sure 1 John answers this ladies’ question. Seems to me that this scripture is a reference to one’s initial confession at conversion. I agree that confession is not a penance but I’m not sure Pastor John really answers her question. Isn’t it better to say that we should repent (turn from sin) as a regular discipline, but know that that sin is, in reality, totally forgiven. We should repent, live righteously and move in. But we should not think that it is over our heads and needs to be forgiven afresh.

"All My Sins Were Canceled - So Why Continue to Confess?"
A great question Kind Sir; that many Christians have a problem; with it's thesis ...
IE: The problem is; Most Christians rarely "connect the dots". They simply read this verse or that verse and run with it; and in many cases they make it a law; as if Jesus, who IS God, commanded it; when He didn't! Yes sad, but very true. Now...
Jesus did pay the entire price to "Save" ANY person regardless; with ONLY one exception. And that is spelled out in Mark 3:28-29. Yes He PAID the price. However the "official" forgiveness; does NO happen until "Judgment Day". For IF the forgiveness was given before JD; then there is NO reason for a Judgment Day atoll.
It is similar to this: A person goes to high school for 3 or 4 yrs. But they do NOT get their diploma UNTIL the president of the HS deems they deserve their diploma; where the president's signature MUST be "Notarized" on the diploma. Then, and only then, are you a true "graduate"; so they can enter a college, or employer, etc.
So it is. Again: Jesus PAID the total price. But the Heavenly "Diploma"; is NOT given UNTIL "JD"; with Jesus' approval! And ONLY then will Jesus forgive EVERY sin (Mark 3:28), except that one "Un-Forgivable Sin" (Mark 3:29)!.
So the notion of a thesis that says, "Jesus forgives us every time we sin"; is a satan-led promulgated lie. Oh indeed. And satan WANTS us to think that way; so we don't have to worry about our upcoming Sins. And thus, we won't confess to Jesus often; in sincere prayers about our sins. And I believe: that Jesus does NOT like that! Sad, but true.
Could I be wrong? ABSOLUTELY YES! But all others could be wrong too...
...In any case kind Sir and Brethren, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

I do not believe this video is addressing the elephant in the room. 1 John 1:9 says that this confession that the supposed believer is offering results in forgiveness. So if he does not confess then the logical conclusion is that he is not forgiven. A born again believer is not forgiven. He falls back into damnation because of a singular sin. I believe this verse is a description of the experience of being born again. I don’t see how you can view it any other way.

Agreed. Shockingly many teachers, who have NOT been taught by the Holy Spirit, continued to teach Scripture without spiritual understanding.
It is exactly this type of false teaching that has confused and paralyzed so many Christians from moving from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant Living, that of intimately knowing God's unconditional love and forgiveness for each of us, and Christ's command to live and practice with the love He gave us (Agape, not conditional human love). So if you want to confess your sins to God, go ahead if that makes you a better Christian. Just know that your repeated confessions, apologies, or repentances cannot acquire forgiveness because it required the Incarnation and the bloody Death Sacrifice of the Son of God to achieve this. How dare one think that one can acquire forgiveness by merely kneeling and confessing. You can't be re-forgiven for something God DECIDED to do on his own 2000 years ago.

As Peter said, we've been forgiven for past sins. And with repentance, and with the gift of Jesus' sacrifice, we are continually forgiven.
Paul has repeatedly listed the sins that THE FAITHFUL can commit and lose entry into heaven.
If salvation was a once and done thing, why did Paul revisit and write to his former congregations? He was making sure they didn't fall away.
In the OSAS indulgence, where does repentance fit in? Where does sanctifying grace fit in? When God calls you in for judgement, are you going to declare, "Oh, I already did that for you."
You have grossly oversimplified the word faith. I like to think of it as faithfulness. If you have faith in your marriage, or your spouse, does that mean that at one point in your history you believed and admitted that they were your spouse? And that was that last time you had to think about your marriage or spouse? You will go to your death knowing that you fulfilled your responsibility as a spouse by that one time act?

Very few believers understand that a person is not born again until they have allowed the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to transform them into someone who no longer sins. Scripture makes it very clear that anyone who sins belongs to the devil and anyone who is born of God does not and cannot sin. Now even though God commanded us not to sin there are billions in this world who foolishly believe that they can never stop sinning. So realize that the vast majority of believers certainly are not Christians because most have never allowed the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to sanctify their hearts in God’s one and only truth in order to overcome their sins. And just because someone may claim to believe in Jesus Christ does not make that person a Christian either since even sinful demons also believe in Jesus Christ.
“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.”
    ‭‭I John‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭NKJV
“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“HE WHO SINS IS OF THE DEVIL, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. WHOEVER HAS BEEN BORN OF GOD DOES NOT SIN, for His seed remains in him; AND HE CANNOT SIN, because he has been born of God.”
    ‭‭I John‬ ‭3:8-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:2‬ ‭ESV
Now the main reason that the majority of believers are so lost and deceived is because they have chosen to seek their knowledge of God from the many false religions and preachers of this fallen world instead of learning God’s truth directly from Jesus Himself. Many of them have clearly overlooked the fact that Jesus is alive and He commanded us to follow Him.
Through His sacrifice on the cross Jesus gave us the ability to hear God’s voice and learn God’s truth directly from Him through His Holy Spirit that will dwell inside anyone who truly understands and believes. Most believers are not able to hear the voice of Jesus Christ though and this is because they did not comprehend the importance behind testing the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4 while others do not understand how it is even done.
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭16:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭14:15-18‬ ‭NKJV‬
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”
    ‭‭I John‬ ‭4:1-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Scripture relates that Jesus is the same always and that He will be with us until the end of age. Jesus did not sin of course and Jesus never got sick because sin and sickness is strictly of the devil and since Jesus never changes this is why Jesus still heals even today. Scripture clearly relates that sin will bring sickness into our lives but scripture also reveals how it is possible for a believer to stop sinning. Anyone who is truly being guided by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ is no longer living by the desires of their sinful flesh and they cannot possible sin nor can they ever get sick since they are now a child who has born with the Spirit of God. So realize that anyone who truly possesses the Holy Spirit and who is truly allowing the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to guide them in their life cannot possibly sin since they are now being guided by the Spirit of God who is Holy and pure and who cannot sin.
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”
    ‭‭I John‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭NKJV
“But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
God does not lie so Jesus would have never instructed the man that He had healed to sin no more if it were impossible for the man to stop sinning. Plus what this above scripture is clearly revealing is how it was the man’s sin that brought the devils afflictions into his life. This is why Jesus warned him that if he did not stop sinning then a worse affliction could come upon him.
“Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭107:17‬ ‭NKJV‬
‬Know what this scripture means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. So this scripture is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness.
Now in Deuteronomy 28 God related His blessings for those who would obey Him and the curses that will occur on anyone who chooses to live in sin and disobedience. Every type of sickness is definitely listed as a curse so any sickness in your life clearly reveals that you are a sinner who lacks knowledge of scripture and you are disobeying God.
“If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE Lord YOUR GOD, then the LORD will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues-great and prolonged plagues-and serious and prolonged sicknesses. Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. Also every sickness and every plague, which is not written in this Book of the Law, will the LORD bring upon you until you are destroyed.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭28:58-61‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Next, God made it very clear that He would remove sickness and disease from anyone who did not sin and who would obey what He commanded in scripture. This is why the devil can no longer put his afflictions on anyone who is truly born of God since they are now someone who is being guided by God’s Holy Spirit and they can no longer sin.
“And said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days.”
    ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭23:25-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and will afflict you with none of the terrible diseases of Egypt which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you.”
    ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭7:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Many do not realize that there are no scriptures that ever relate that a sinner belongs to God or that a sinner is a child of God. There are no scriptures that ever relate that a believer will always sin or that a believer can never stop sinning. There are no scriptures that ever relate that sickness would be a normal part of this life or that a Christian would possess sickness in their life.
There is only one truth from God, one and one alone and the rest is all lies that the deceived chose to believe. Sadly, more then 95% of believers are destined to perish since they continue in a life of ignorance and sin and this is mainly because they did not understand how to allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify their hearts in God’s one and only truth.
“And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9:27‬ ‭ESV
In closing, I can certainly testify to what I have revealed in this message because I am someone who has overcome sin and sickness in this lifetime by allowing the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ to sanctify my heart in God’s one and only truth through testing the Spirits.

John 16 says: sin, righteousness and judgement. Not just righteousness.
When we are saved, we are not to ask for forgiveness from those sins. We are to ask for forgiveness for the sins we thereafter commit. Not a blanket "forgive me all my sins or future sins". When the Holy Spirit helps us realise you have sinned, you ask for forgiveness. Why?
Because when teaching how to pray, Jesus clearly tells us to ask for the forgiveness of our trespasses/sin (Matthew 6, Luke 11) . If we say we have not sinned we are liars (1 John).
So, we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness. Not asking Jesus to die again. Not asking for forgiveness because of our righteousness. We ask in Jesus name.

OSAS and Calvinism are false doctrines. Repentance means turning around from. Repentance is not confession. Confession is telling God of your sins and asking forgiveness. Repentance is recognising we have sinned and stopping committing the sin, turning away from it. You can repent and not confess and vice versa. We are to repent from wilful sin when we come to Christ and walk in repentance thereafter. Because we are not perfect and can slip-up along the way, we have the gift of confession. But confession without having repented is not genuine confession. God is not mocked. You don't confess it but continue doing it. Future sins are only forgiven if we repent and confess. Eternal security doctrines have got it all wrong. The Bible is clear that all wilful sinners go to hell. Read Revelation 21:8, unbelief is only one of a list of sins that lead to the lake of fire. _"If you put full trust in what Jesus already did, you are saved and sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise until the day of redemption (the rapture)!"_
Obedience and repentance are required and expected by God as well as trusting in Jesus. Without holiness no-one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
_"Believe not, and stay lost in unbelief. Your choice.. eternity in heaven, or eternity in hell."_
If you mean believe in your doctrine of OSAS, no I don't believe in it. OSAS is a doctrine from the pits of hell. It's the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which Jesus said twice in Revelation that He hates.
Re 2 Corinthians 5:18-21, please reread Romans 3:25. Future sins are not forgiven unless we repent and confess as I have already said.
The Holy Spirit is the seal, and He can leave eventually if a believer refuses to repent. Unconfessed sins are uncleansed sins (please reread 1 John 1:9 again).
      God bless you.

      @@thewhole_picture1743 Dont ignore the context.
If you just allow the Bible to say what it says, where it says it, to whom it was said, and who was speaking, you can better understand the word RIGHTLY DIVIDED.
      2nd Timothy 2:15 kjv
John was an old testiment deciple. A jew. John was also on of the twelve deciples that was commanded by Jesus in the flesh in Mathew 10:5,6, to NOT deliver Israels law program to sameritans or gentiles.
Israel was commanded to have faith plus works and keep the commandments to enherit thier EARTHLY kingdom.
They were also commanded to repent for the REMISSION of sins.
      Why?
It was required as part of the law..BEFOR he was crucified..which Jesus took out of the way, nailing it to his cross
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done ON EARTH as it is in heaven. Remember?
Do you want to go to heaven when you die?
You cant as long as you insist on stealing Israels mail, and claiming its for you to follow.
We currently live in the Ephesians 3 "Revelation of the Mystery" that was kept hid in God from John, Mark, Luke, and the other deciples.
According to Gods, perfect, preserved word RIGHTLY DIVIDED, members of the body of Christ are HEAVEN BOUND.
Members of the Body of Christ believe the Romans 1:16 Gospel of salvation that is ONLY found in our apostle Pauls apistles.
Pauls apistles (Romans through Philemon were written AFTER Jesus was Crucified
AFTER Israel was granted a one year period of grace after crucifying thier massiah
AFTER Israel stoned Stephen to death.
      AFTER the fall of Israel
The gospel of salvation that was given to Paul by THE RISEN, GLORIFIED Jesus from heaven in Acts 9.
This is only a contradiction to you because you claim Israels law program, and Pauls grace through faith in Christ alone at the same time..
You cant mix law and grace.
By the Bible evidence your honor, the accusation of misinterpreting scripture is unfounded.
      The defence rests.

@@thewhole_picture1743 By the way, the same division must apply to the books of Hebrews and Revelation.
I think you overlooked the context of these books as well. To who they were written? Who wrote them? When? Why?
The church the body of Christ is knowhere to be found in Revelation.
Hebrews was written to the Hebrews. You can verify this Bible fact, by simply reading chapters 8 and 9 concerning who the new testiment is for and Jesus being the testator.
Then in Chapters 11 ans 12, concerning the divers times and manners of faith required by the prophets and diverse times mentioned in chapters 8 and 9.
Please study this out for yourself. Grace and peace

@@mr.nobodyhere Oh dear, you are misunderstanding what rightly dividing means. Sadly, many OSAS believers use this piece of scripture as if it means chopping up the Bible and deciding only parts apply to the church. Look it up, rightly dividing means cutting a straight path, with the word of truth. That means not privately interpreting scriptures as OSAS believers do.
The only reason the disciples were commanded to go only to the house of Israel, is so that prophecy could be fulfilled, that Jesus would be rejected by His own and crucified, so that He could become a light to the Gentiles as well. I'm afraid you are making stories up about what the scriptures are saying.
_"Israel was commanded to have faith plus works and keep the commandments to enherit thier EARTHLY kingdom."_
All believers are required to do good works. It's in multiple places in scriptures. James 2 is just one example but I can give many more.

On the contrary. The accusation is proven by the evidence above. Please take the time to watch the videos as they contain multitudes of scriptures proving what I say. Pride is a sin, but misguided pride is even worse. I say the defence must be thrown out. OSAS is indefensible.
