I just received the Holy Spirit and the Grace of God this week and today, I remembered about something I was doing and a verse of the Bible came into my head and I discovered I was sinning. I talked to God about it and it was incredible, cause this video was not posted today, but it appeared to me as a smartphone notification today! I asked the Holy Spirit to guide me through this video and what pastor John said just confirmed and gave me more knowledge about this important theme. I'm happy to know this and for living the real life since this week. God is the One God. I thank you all that work on this channel

BEFORE Galatians 2:20(Rom 12:1) 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 since you are a beginner(a child-1John 2:1 Rom 14:1) you have to confess sins to God through the only one Mediator Jesus the Christ(1Tim 2:5).
And you have to confess sins also to the one which was insulted through your sin(James 5:16 Matt 5:24) because what you sinned against any person can be forgiven by God ONLY AFTER you confessed AT FIRST to the person against whom you have sinned in real or in secret.
What we sinned ONLY against God we confess ONLY to God because our sins against God can be forgiven ONLY through the system of SIN TRANSFERRING installed in all three parts of God’s plan of salvation revealed to us inside the Sanctuary about TRANSFERRING our sin over Jesus as Sanctuary(John 2:21) being the Christ(John 1:29,36 Colos 2:2 Rev 21:23).
But having as fundament this only one forgiveness through SIN TRANSFERRING over the crucified Lamb, God has installed ALSO AMONG US a system of sins forgiveness AFTER confessing our sins to each other’s(James 5:16 John 20:23 Matt 6:12).
Because as God He was able to know that the mostly sinners will live forever in sin when we’re possible to confess their secret sins ONLY to God and not AT FIRST to the one which was hurt, insulted and lied through the secret sin.
That was the most necessary to know about you as sinner BEFORE Galatians 2:20(Rom 12:1) 1John 3:9 1John 5:18).
Tragically is the fact that even the greatest teacher cannot define God’s GRACE AFTER fulfillment of Galatians 2:20(Rom 12:1) 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 since they still don’t have the foto-theology of the Bible in always more dimensions to have always a more deep understanding reading the next Bible verses to see that only as beginners(as children-1John 2:1 Rom 14:1) WE HAVE sins in 1John 1:8 but AFTER CONFESSING our sins in 1John 1:9 to be CLEANSED in Daniel 8:14 through Galatians 2:20(Rom 12:1) 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 we can have only the past word SINNED in 1John 1:10 referring to our PAST sinful life BEFORE CONFESSING being FORGIVEN and CLEANSED so that WE CANNOT SIN ANYMORE after Galatians 2:20 as you clearly see in 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 etc
1John 1:8 If we say that we HAVE no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1John 1:9 If we CONFESS our sins, He is faithful and just to FORGIVE us our sins, and to CLEANSE us from all unrighteousness.(Daniel 8:14 1Cor 6:19 1Cor 3:16 James 4:8 Acts 2:40 Acts 11:14 John 17:17 Psalm 119:11).
1John 1:10 If we say that we have not SINNED, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Shortly saying, in 1John 1:8 WE HAVE sins which was in 1John 1:9 CONFESSED and FORGIVEN so that in 1John 1:10 we can have only the past word SINNED saying that we SINNED only in the past time BEFORE Galatians 2:20 1John 3:9 1:John 5:18.
But the most tragically is the fact is that even the best teachers in theology OF THE Bible they don’t know how to read the 10 commandments Exodus 20 THINKING about verses like Galatians 2:20 1John 3:9 1:John 5:18 Rev 14:12 Colos 1:26 for Colos 2:2 etc.
This is why they are also not able to define God’s GRACE AFTER Galatians 2:20 1John 3:9 1:John 5:18 Rev 14:12 etc etc..
They cannot see that AFTER Galatians 2:20(Rom 12:1) 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 CANNOT sin anymore because ONLY Christ live in you.
And this is why as being a devoted Catholic you can bring only Christ to a Catholic priest to confess His sins.
After Galatians 2:20 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 being a devoted Catholic going to a priest to confess sins you will never be IDentified by God in Revelation 14:12 as being His church of saints who KEEP the commandments OF God having the FAITH of Jesus as being the Christ(Hebrews 11:1 John 2:21).
After Galatians 2:20 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 continuing to see yourself still as sinner(John 9:31 James 4:8) you cannot be IDentified by God in Revelation 14:6-9 Rev 18:1-4…
Because the Bible make clearly that in Rev 14:7 to FEAR God means to KEEP His commandments which means to NOT sin anymore.
And so is clearly that seeing yourself as sinner in Rev 14:6-12 Rev 18:1-4 God see you as liar calling the world to come out from sins because you are a sinner.
Thousands Christian religions are pretending to be BORN AGAIN ignoring God’s definition given in 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 making clearly that YOU CANNOT SIN anymore being died in Gal 2:20 and born again in 1John 3:9 1John 5:18 living only God’s word inside YOU(Luke 8:11 John 1:1 Colos 1:27).
The died YOU cannot sin anymore and Christ in you He will surely never sin in the you.
Understanding all these you should stop insulting Christ in you(Colos 1:27 Gal 2:20) and start seeing yourself as being the saint IDentified by God in Rev 14:12 receiving God’s mystery called Christ(Colos 2:2).
Because Colos 1:26 make clearly that only to saints is given God’s mystery called Christ(Colos 2:2) so that seeing in the Bible the whole explanation given in Luke 24:27,44 you will see the NEW Testament revealing the NAME of His Father which His Son has revealed in John 17:6,26 so that making HEARTS BURN(Luke 24:32) in Laodicea(Rev 3:15,16 Colos 2:1) will be delighting in God’s infinite wisdom(Colos 2:3 Proverbs 8:1) having a beginning in Prov 8:22-25 John 1:1,14 for John 2:21 so that even in John 1:1 knowing the PERSON Jesus as being the Christ you will also know all about what was the WORD in John 1:1.
John 1:1 In the BEGINNING was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD was God.
John 1:14 And the WORD was made SANCTUARY(John 2:21), and DWELT among us, and we beheld his glory(sanctuary) the glory as of the only BEGOTTEN of the Father(Psa 2:7 Hebr 1:5 Acts 13:33) full of GRACE and TRUTH(Psa 119:142 Psa 77:13 John 4:22,23 Eph 2:6 Mal 2:6).

I really like how he explained those two traits in the last part of the podcast
The grace of God never dulls the senses in relation to sin in a persons life, the opposite is true. A person grows more sensitive to indwelling sin and desires his or her life (by the Spirit) to conform more and more to the image of Christ

If we have to confess and repent every sin we commit, where does grace come in after regeneration/coming to faith? Grace is a free gift and it was the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Pastor John's advice here sounds more like the law than grace : works to earn salvation exactly like a Catholic would do. Jesus blotted out our sins once and for all, and nothing we do can add to that process. Faith means that you believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross; it doesn't require you to continue to repent and confess each sin you commit so as to gain forgiveness for each one.
Once you understand that you are saved from sins (all of which far extend beyond those you are capable of confessing and repenting - becuase not all you will be aware of, made aware of or intend) any that you are capable of confessing and repenting through self awareness/intent is done merely out of reverence for what God has done on the cross for you - to save you and adopt you into his family. That is the good news of the Gospel. You put these sins (now of the flesh and forgotten for judgement) at the foot of the cross and apologise to God for not being a good disciple and ask that he may help you overcome them; your sins (forgiveable ones) has no salvific currency at all at this stage. Your effort to walk in faith through confession and repentance has some bearing on rewards in heaven, but that is it. You are a child of God throughout - adopted into his family. You are not his foster child who might be put back into care if you don't behave yourself and demonstrate that you mean business to be a good child to earn adoption fully. God's love is unconditional and any sanctifying work he does in you is supernatural and not of you or your efforts. As a disciple it is your role to be a good witness to others, so being a wanton sinner and wallowing in it is not really on!!
Your glorification, just like your justification by status and your sanctification is all the work of Christ through the Holy Spirit. You get no glory at all for your efforts, and so none of this requires your input for salvific reasons, lest any man should boast (because it would be classed as works). If you confess and repent of your sins for salvific reasons then how many of you are not so much hating your sin as preachers state you should if you are in Christ but instead are really fearing the dire consequences of not hating your sin enough - if you think you will fall out of fellowship with Christ? There is a world of difference between the two.
That is my take on the truth. To put it like Pastor John has done is to completely dilute what Jesus did on the cross by implying that Jesus died on the cross to pave the way for our sins to be forgiven - to open the door but not invite us in, therefore we must invite ourselves in through merit - not that he actually had forgiven them by opening the door and inviting us in.

There is a beautiful awareness of the spirits work in one's life after the acknowledging of one's sin.
Like Paul, when we rejoice that we are weak then Christ's power rests on us. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
I get so stubborn in my sin sometimes, but when I finally admit it, find myself overcoming sin, but after it's all said and done I can't congratulate myself because asked for His help.

Proper confession of sins allows one to embrace the wisdom of weakness. Weakness acknowledged allows for forgiveness. Forgiveness is offered as a gift of love. Love must finish it’s work so that we lack nothing. Nothing should be permitted to escape our thoughts. Thoughts captured lead to the mind of Christ.

The whole point of being a Christian is having a relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ by the Spirit indwelling us. We, however, are still in our bodies of flesh and are prone to sin. That is why we have an advocate with the Father in the Lord Jesus. When we sin our advocate immediately comes into play and draws us back into 'fellowship' with the Father by the chords of love.
Sin breaks the fellowship with the Father, but the relationship cannot be broken. Christ is our advocate and we are accepted before God in all His perfection. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, the fellowship being then restored. That is where confession and forsaking the sin comes into play on our part. (1 John ch. 2).

I’m sure you think you know WHAT sin is, but in my experience, few understand HOW to sin.
Three things must happen for deadly sin to become a factor. Temptation.... conception..... maturation. Without all three there is no sin.
Sin isn’t something you do..... it’s what one believes! The doing is referred to as a trespass. Please consider that your def. of sin may be errant.

God already Knows our sins. Confession is for our benefit. We become aware of our sins so we know where we went wrong and we can let Jesus Help us Correct and Overcome them best we can. Jesus Said..in Matthew 5 6 7..to beware of Pride..Lust..Greed..Anger and Worry. Those are deadly sins. Once Jesus Showed me this..I could see exactly where I had gone wrong and my family too. Things I had puzzled over for years became very clear. No church or titled man ever taught me this. I am extremely Grateful that Jesus Showed me..so now He can Help me correct my Life. In all the years I went to church I wonder Why? No one ever Taught Jesus Gospel? My family members that still insist on listening to the titled men are still in the dark..sinning and not understanding why their lives are failing. So sad..churches teach you everything but Jesus simple Truths..the commandments of God.

According to the Bible, there are consequences to refusing to repent one’s sins.
“But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.” - Romans 2:5 (NIV)
“But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” - Luke 13:3 (NIV)

    3:10 - Hebrews 7:27
    3:26 - Hebrews 9:26
    3:37 - Hebrews 10:14
5:01 - “So Colossians 2:13 and the passages that we saw in Hebrews sound like our forgiveness was achieved, completed in the death of Christ.”
5:11 - “But 1 John 1:9 and 1:7 sound like our forgiveness and our cleansing depend on our confessing those sins and walking in the light.”
5:36 - “We should distinguish between the purchase - and that includes the permanent securing… of our forgiveness once for all at the death of Jesus on the one hand, from the personal possession and enjoyment of that benefit on the other hand which comes to us through faith.”
6:07 - “So at the death of Jesus, our sins are canceled, nailed to the cross, debt fully paid. So payment and securing, accomplished once for all, never to be repeated, permanently, infallibly for all God’s people when Christ died.”
6:27 - “But the personal reception, the possession, the enjoyment of that achievement, that purchase, that securing of forgiveness only comes to God’s people through faith in Christ, union with Christ by faith. So and I say that because of texts like Acts 10:43… and Romans 3:28.”
10:23 - “If we confess our sins, which you have to do in order to make war on them - if you don’t think you have any, if you’re not confessing, ‘yes, I have sin, I’m sorry’ - if you don’t confess that, you won’t make war.”
    * cites part of 1 John 1:9 *
10:40 - “So confessing our sin is the agreement with God that we have sin and it must be fought and killed. If we don’t confess this truth, we’re living, John says, in an illusion. We’re lying, we’re deceived, we call God a deceiver, and we’re not saved.”
11:01 - “If we’re living in the illusion that we have no sin and that it doesn’t need to be killed, we’re living in an illusion, not in salvation.”
11:11 - “So confession of sin is not the basis of our forgiveness. It is one of the traits that show we are truly in Christ where all our sins are covered by His blood.”

From what I understand. I've been saved and baptized. I did, because I felt I needed to without question. I was a little boy when I did this. In the word, it's tells us John the Baptist baptized Jesus. It represents, from the grave to life. When you come out of that water, your a new creature in Christ. You are not that same person you were. For the old you, was crucified. The old you, is dead and is no more. Your become a new. I very highly recommend to. I think everyone who ask Christ in their lives should do it without debating about. That's following Christ. Amen ! Praise God !

@@turtleneckferret , I don't feel you need to make war with your sins. Christ died for us. So we are able to get forgiveness of sin. Sin at that point has been covered by the blood of Christ. All those sins are cast, as far as East is to West. And remembered no more. At that point. Ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. It's that easy. There is nothing to be afraid of baptism. I believe every Christian should become baptized. Jesus came here also to instruct us on what to do. He was baptized. There is no reason not to. I think you should encourage those people to do so. It's a beautiful thing. Then do what he said to the desiples. Go into the world and tell people the story of Jesus. And help people to understand that accepting Him, is very important. And baptize them in the name of Jesus Christ.

Ohhhh, no. *it makes me sad* when I hear "answers" like that. Here's 1 John 1:9:
⚫ "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Is it not perfectly obvious that our sins were *not* forgiven "past, present and future' the moment Jesus died on the cross?
Here's another verse with the same message:
⚫ "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, KJV).
Is it not perfectly obvious that our sins *remain* -not blotted out- unless we come to repentance?
Someone wrote *_"I am forgiven of all my sins- past, present and future."_*
Many think that's true. But it is incorrect, and it is dangerous to believe it.
If we'll obey and come to repentance - confessing and forsaking sins - *_then_* we'll enter His promised mercy. Our past sins will be forgiven and blotted out:
⚫ "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent" (Acts 17:30)
⚫ "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." (Proverbs 28:13)
⚫ "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
⚫ "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord" (Acts 3:19, KJV).
That's right: our sins were neither forgiven nor blotted out when Jesus died on the cross. Unless we come to repentance, our sins remain, and we will pay for them ourselves as Jesus warned:
⚫ "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Jesus, in Luke 13:5)
Peter makes it clear: come to repentance, or else perish:
⚫ "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
When we come to Him in repentance, we'll have "remission of sins that are past" (Romans 3:25). We'll be "purged" of our "old sins" (2 Peter 1:9). We'll also receive the holy spirit, to help lead us out of slavery to sin:
⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)
⚫ "And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him." (Acts 5:32)
While we continue to abide in Him in repentance, following the holy spirit, we remain in justification -not under condemnation:
⚫ "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)
While we continue to abide in Him in repentance, following the holy spirit, we have the "hope of salvation:" -the promised gift of eternal life, to be received at Jesus' "revelation," His return:
⚫ "But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ" (Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 5:8,9).
⚫ "And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life" (1 John 2:25).
⚫ "Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;" (1 Peter 1:13)
While we continue to abide in Him in repentance, following the holy spirit, He continues - present tense - to cover any new sins:
⚫ "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)
If we no longer abide in Him and revert to un-repentance and willful sin, then there is no more sacrifice to cover our new sins:
⚫ "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." (Hebrews 10:26,27; examples in Luke 12:45,46 and 1 Corinthians 9:27)
Sins "all forgiven, past present and future"? Absolutely not Please read Luke 12:45,46 if you're not sure.
    .
If we no longer abide in Him and revert to un-repentance or willful sin,
we fall away from justification and forfeit that "hope of salvation." No longer "in his goodness" or grace, we'll be "cut off":
⚫ "If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (Jesus, in John 15:6)
⚫ "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off." (Romans 11:21,22)
⚫ "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." (Hebrews 4:1)
⚫ "For the wages of sin is death . . . " (Romans 6:23). Jesus died for our sins (1 Cor 15:3). He gave himself for us. He made His death and blood *_available_* so that He - as our high priest (Hebrews 8:1,2) - could redeem us: cover our death penalty:
⚫ "Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:14)
We can have that mercy, that grace, that redemption if we'll obey and come to Him in repentance, confessing and forsaking sin. Otherwise we'll perish, paying our own death penalty, as Jesus warned.
*Some of you might think to ask "What about Hebrews 10:14? Doesn't it say we're "perfected forever"?*
Good question. If we're honest, we'll ask why -just a few verses later- Hebrews says:
⚫ "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." (Hebrews 10:26,27
That sure doesn't sound like "perfected forever" does it?
The problem is in verse 14:
⚫ "For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified." (Hebrews 10:14, NKJV)
"Forever" in Hebrews 10:14 is from the Greek word διηνεκής (diēnekēs). Checking Strong's definitions, *"continually"* and *"continuously"* are given as alternate translations. That same Greek word was translated as "continually" in Hebrews 7:3 and 10:1 (KJV).
Jesus *continually* -present tense- covers our sins *while we remain in repentance, abiding in Him, walking "in the light" . . . while we "are being sanctified":
⚫ "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)
If we revert back to un-repentance and willful sin, there is no sacrifice available to cover our new sins:
⚫ "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." (Hebrews 10:26,27)
The translations of Heb 10:14: "made perfect forever" or "perfected forever" (done deal) - rather than "continually" (ongoing as we adide in Him in repentance) - mislead people to think that Hebrews 10:26,27 could not possibly not apply to them.
We remain in justification - not under condemnation - as long as we abide in Him, in repentance, following the holy spirit:
⚫ "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1)
Otherwise we fall away from justification, and return to condemnation, no longer "in His goodness" or grace.

Confession of sins is simply what the lost person recognizes about themselves to be in agreement with God that they're guilty and in need of a Savior (Romans 3:19). After coming to Christ in faith we "walk" in that same humbleness before God, recognizing we're still sinners in our flesh but have been saved by His grace. To teach daily confessing of sins to remain in fellowship is a misuse of these epistles.
In context, John is writing to believers who were under deception of false teaching concerning the gospel and of Christ Himself. The people teaching this false gospel claimed Jesus was not the Son of God, and was only a spirit, but had not come in the flesh (1 John 2:19-26, 4:1-6, 2 John 7-10, 3 John 3-4). This explains why John opened the epistle saying they had "heard", "seen", and "handled" Jesus. If one takes the time to read these refenced verses, it becomes clear John was fighting against false doctrine. To "walk in the light" is to continue in the truth of the gospel. John wasn't writing concerning behavior, but belief. They had been saved, but were in danger of losing their understanding they once had. He was reminding the people of the truth in chapter 1, and warning them to keep themselves from false teaching going forward in his epistles.
People should take the time to study scripture on their own, then false doctrine couldn't flourish like this which is being taught about 'confessing sins". Hebrews 10:1-2 teaches we should have no conscience of sins. Jesus bought our fellowship with God with His own blood. God has removed my sins as far as the east is from the west and I will not allow man to teach me any different. I suggest people should pray concerning this and seek the truth of scripture as God says He will lead anyone into His truth who seeks it, and you have no need for man to teach you!!!
    __________________________________________________________________________________________________________
1 John 2:24 - 24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
1 John 2:27 - But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Personally I don't believe so. If you acknowledge and confess your sin to God, He is the one who forgives.
However if there is an offense you have committed against another, it is advisable and wise to go to that person also to seek forgiveness-if possible- for the sake of that relationship and for living at peace with everyone as much as you can. That's my personal view on it, but of course we can't always go back and confess it to that person and ultimately if you know your heart is right before God in the matter then that's all that matters.

    The Narrow Door
22Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?”
He said to them, 24“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’
“But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’
26“Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’
27“But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’
28“There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. 29People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”

So we confess also because we believe that He is Faithful and Just to forgive us for our sins, because we do believe that God has already punished it through the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and was satisfied. Also, the blood of Sprinkling goes into action for us before God, as we approach, then Jesus Christ the Son, takes over by advocating for us, as our Substitute, and then the Holy Spirit takes our plea in intercession to God, with groans that expresses our intention to God in God's way, and God answers according to His will, and we receive complete pardon by faith, and abide in the secret place, keeping ourselves from sins, killing and nailing our flesh daily- with the word of God, until Christ returns as promised.

      @trustinjesusministries 4 года назад

Barry, I believe the answer is yes. John talks about how we as christians we should not walk in a lifestyle of sin. We should walk in the light; however, he knows we fail. He says if you say that you have not sin you are a liar. Then right after that John says if you confess, God forgives. John I believe is saying in that scripture that we will continue to sin (though our fervent desire should be to walk in holiness); however, if we continue in our confession of this sin, we will continually be forgiven 1 John 1:5-10. I'd also like to tag that with James though. In James 5:16 the apostle states that we should confess our sins and be healed. I think confession of sin demonstrates our reliance on God and helps us to break the bondage of sin. When we confess our sin God gives us grace in that to help us walk with his Spirit and be transformed into Jesus's likeness. So two things, in confession (1) we find humility in our unrighteousness but love in Christ's forgiveness, and (2) we find grace in sin and power to overcome it!

Mat 28
"But that's not gospel! And... Teach all nations doesn't mean everyone, it means the Jews dwelling in all nations."
Nonsense. The parallel in Mark 16:
*Go ye into all the world, and PREACH THE GOSPEL to EVERY CREATURE.* He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
MARK 1:1 "The beginning of THE gospel of Jesus Christ..."
JOHN 6:68 Lord, to whom shall we go? _Thou_ hast the words of eternal life.
JUDE 1 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of *the common salvation,* it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for THE faith which was ONCE delivered unto the saints.
      _
*Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words* in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
      - GOD THE SON
Dispensationalism is nonsense. Repent of this "leaven of Herod." There is ONE GOSPEL. ONE LORD. ONE FAITH. ONE BAPTISM. ONE GOD. Just as certain also of your own poets have said. (EPH 4:5-6). End of. You've been warned, not by me but by THE ETERNAL SON OF GOD.

    Right question but wrong answer.
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing to the cross. Col 2:14 - these are Jewish rules, written by Moses and Sanhedrin (Jesus conflict with the Sanhedrin is because they added things that should not).
Read verse 16, you will get a better understanding of what are ordinances.
    Read from a KJV Bible.

It makes no differences between believers and non believers when they walk in the flesh. Sin is the transgression of the Law.
read Gen 4: 26 - God did not cut off humanity after Adam and Eve sinned.
So why the handwriting of ordinance that was against us is a reference to the sins a person committed prior to conversion?

21“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Are dead believers asleep or are they awake with Christ in paradise? I'm asking this because this is where the orthodox faith differs with protestants and they claim that if we can ask living saints to pray for us, why can't we ask the dead ( yet alive) saints to pray for us.

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

Why does sin need to be killed if Jesus has died for our sins in the first place? This is verbal sleight of hand. Jesus didn't make a deal with his sheep: I will forgive you of your sins if you repent and confess them continually and manage to purge the flesh. That is plain works based salvation. Lost in the maze of scriptures, faults teachers who still haven't got the picture of God's plan of creation, death stills hanging over sin, death is still the sting of sin, in other words, God forgave man, but sin brings us destruction, ya see, God moves the destruction that sin vehemently brings us under, perplexity with no end unto death, sin is transgression of the law, without the law I had not known sin, by breaking the law I have sins, for he who have said do not kill, said also do not convert, I am guilty of all, the law is within us all, the destruction we bring upon ourselves is what God saves us from, by forgive us our sins,,,, ex, the woman who brought destruction unto herself by breaking the law, he saved her from her destructive death, when we fall in our hole we dig for ourselves, it's his hand that saves us from the perplexed condition we bring ourselves under,,,,,

Because you must crucify your own will on your own cross. No one else can redeem you for YOUR SINS. Psalms 49:7. Jesus showed us the way to eternal life. We must do what he did. Vicarious atonement is a heresy of the highest order. Human sacrifice is forbidden by God as a pagan ritual and he never required anyone to die for YOUR SINS. Impossible. Hebrews 5:7, psalms 18,22,53, 91 Refute this false doctrine. The passover lamb wasnt even a sin offering in Exedous.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Our sin debt is paid in full, and we can no longer be condemned. John 3:18.
But we still reap what we sow in this life and in heaven. First Corinthians 3:11-21. Salvation is free, and rewards in heaven are earned. The GIFT of God is eternal life, and God can not go back on His word.
First Corinthians 5:5 Turn such a one over to Satan to kill the flesh, so that his Spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord. First Corinthians 3:15. This was a born again (Ephesians 1:13-14) child of God (John 1:12) who was sleeping with his fathers wife. He was about to lose his life, and the rewards he could have had, but he was still saved.
If anything we do or do not do would save us, then Jesus died in vain. Galatians 2:21.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved, (what Jesus did for us) through faith, (the second we believe on Him as the only way of salvation) and that not of yourselves, (we did nothing for it) It is the GIFT of God, NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.
You can not boast in free. The second we believe, we are given eternal life as a free gift from God John 6:47. If all of our sin debt was not paid, no one would be saved because we all sin.
First Corinthians 15:1-4 That Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the scriptures.
When WE BELIEVE that gospel, He imputes His perfect righteousness to us apart from works, and will no more impute sin to our account. Romans 4:5-8 Faith alone in Christ alone apart from any works. Romans 11:6 AMAZING GRACE, JESUS PAID IT ALL AND WE PAID 0. IT IS FREE, or not at all. We are given eternal life and sealed by the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 the second we believe on Jesus alone, apart from any works.
What if we walk away and never believe it again? Second Timothy 2:13 If we believe not,( after we have once believed, ) He can not deny Him self. His Holy Spirit we received when we believed John 3:16-18.
First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that BELIEVE on the NAME of the SON of GOD, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. Jesus said it, we believe it, and that settles it.

Remember this. If we could do one thing that would save us, keeping the law, or doing good works, then Jesus died in vain. Galatians 2:21. We can only be saved by what He did for us, not by what we do or do not do. The GIFT of God is eternal life.
First John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD. But only those who believe it are saved forever. It is eternal life, not temporary life or probationary life, but eternal life, and he gives it freely to all who just believe on His name. John 1:12 and Romans 1:16.
I trusted Jesus as the only way of salvation 73 years ago when I was 6 years old. I have committed a multitude of sin since that day, but Jesus paid for everyone. I have been chastened by the Lord, but never cast out. John 6:37 Hebrews 13:5 He will never leave us or forsake us. John 10:28-29 No one can pluck us out of His hand. Or His Fathers hand. If your heart condemns you, God is greater than your heart.
I hope this helps. Remember, we are all sinners to a degree, because we can not be made perfect in the flesh. Only in the Spirit. First John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God, Ephesians 1:13-14, by faith alone, doeth not commit sin, FOR HIS SEED, (the Holy Spirit) remaineth in him, and He the Holy Spirit can not sin. But we still do. Only self righteous hypocrites believe they have no sin. AMAZING GRACE

If we could lose eternal life it would not be eternal. John 10:28-29. The GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE. Once you accept the free gift, what do you have? Eternal life.
We can be chastened by the Lord as His children, John 1:12, but we cannot lose eternal life. That would make God a liar. John 6:47. God cannot lie. Jesus said, verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me HATH EVERLASTING LIFE.

Romans 4:5-8. Faith apart from works. And faith is not a work. And faith is not the gift. Eternal life is the gift when we accept Jesus free gift of eternal life.
First John 1:10 If we say we have not sinned we call God a liar. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. ALL, not some, But all. That is why Jesus had to die to pay our sin debt so we would not have to go to hell to pay for them.

Ephesians 1:13-14 Our guarantee of eternal life. Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION. The rapture of the church.
